Nowhere and everywhere.
Darkness that seems to stretch on for miles and miles.
It would be pretty difficult to not notice the little girl standing in the middle of this absolute nothing. With long blonde hair that was akin to silk, and sharp red eyes that greatly contrasted her skinny and frail stature, it was like she was a god of oblivion. Except she wasn't.
"...Where am I?"

"The gulag."
She turned around. A beautiful teenage girl with long black hair haired was standing there, an expression of indifference in her golden eyes despite the disorienting situation
"Um.." the little girl said, clearly confused "Do you know where we are? where I am? Are you a ghost?
"Yeah probably"
The child blinked "...What do you mean yeah probably?"
"Well I just died so me being a ghost shouldn't be that far off the mark."
"This is confusing. Why are we both here? Especially you since I'm alive."
The teen put her hand over her mouth and widened her eyes in an expression of mock offence. "Wooow, how rude. And I don't know. I'm not omniscient kid."

"What's your name?"
She looked down. The little girl had broken the gruesomely long silence between the two.
"Well seeing as I'm dead I guess there's no harm in telling you. My name's Aster Hanamura. Yes, that Aster Hanamura."
…
"Okay."
"Okay??" Aster looked both baffled and offended "Is that all you have to say in front of me?
"Yeah? What, are you a famous adventurer? Because I don't know much about what happens outside of my estate."
"…"
"What?"
The little girl raised an eyebrow "What do you mean what? Are you deaf?"
Aster stared at the girl for a long time, confusion etched across her face, till she appeared to realize something
"Are you a chuuni? Or perhaps some rich girl that knows nothing about the world outside of her mansion?"
The little girl puffed out her cheeks. "How rude! as a dukes daughter I obviously have a tutor that properly educates me even if I never go out! I know plenty.
Aster stared at the girl for a long time yet again, a mix of emotions crossing her face.
"...Hey kid what's you're name?"
"Finally asking are you? I don't think I shou-"
"What's. Your. Name."
"C-charlotte. Charlotte Belmont"

"Whatever you're saying please stop!" Charlotte screamed

"I'm not saying that you dumbass! I don't speak eldritch blood god."

[Sorry about that! can you hear me now?]
"H-huh? it stopped?" Charlotte removed her hands that had been covering her ears slowly.
[Uh hello? can you hear me?]
Aster nodded. "We can hear you now"
[Alright cool. Hold on a sec...]
The soft sound of rummaging could be heard from... everywhere?
"Wait where is this voice coming from anyway? And why are you so calm about this Aster?"
"I'm not calm that hurt like hell. And this isn't as shocking as suddenly floating in oblivion 2 seconds after dying."
"You didn't seem that shocked though." Muttered charlotte.
[Ahem. Welcome traveler! Travelers? Wait why is there two of you?]
"Beats me." Said aster.
[Um okay... what do I do now...]
[Wait I've got it! I'll just merge the two of you. Not much will change anyway since the soul that was supposed to reincarnate is here.]
"Merge us??? I have no idea how you're gonna do that, but I don't want to be stuck with her."
"Too bad. You'll be stuck with me forever kid." Aster smirked, making quite the cynical expression.
"Ugh nooooo"
[Relax! You're only becoming an entirely new person. You'll still have the memories and mannerisms of yourself and the other person!]
"What if I say no?" Charlotte asked.

[Hahah! You're funny!]
Suddenly the two began to glow a bright white light. It began to engulf the both of them, and a series of numbers and symbols began to appear in the dark space
[This...and that...alright done! Ready to become a new person?]
"NO"
[Too bad lol]
The bright light filled the dark space up, and the two lost consciousness.
