She is the only surviving relative of her kind; she slept peacefully under Mount Zin for decades. Her heart was drowned in sorrow, wishing her immortal power to vanish, as she did not wish to continue breathing knowing that all her children were gone. Although Mount Zin has been her prison cell for decades, being locked up in Mount Zin gave her some peace. She chose to remain locked here rather than find a way to be free and hunt down the man who destroyed her home and killed each of her children. Even if she manages to escape, many obstacles will stand in her way before she can get her revenge. So, decades later, her fighting spirit disappeared with the death of her children, and she could not find any reason worth fighting for.
It was only now, when she smelled and tasted her child's blood, that she realized she was not alone and that her last child was in danger if her last child's blood reached her nose. Because of her maternal instinct, the smell of her child's bloods suddenly awakened the hatred she had tried to repress for years. Pictures of her home being destroyed and her children dead suddenly appeared before her eyes. Filled with hatred, rage, and love, she spread her mighty wings and rose to the surface of the pond, breaking all the chains at the bottom of the abyss that bound her feet. She dashed into the open sky, searching for her last child and the murderer who had just bled her last offspring.
Standing on a hill overlooking Maka City, Abrafo and Bong saw bandits and gorillas starting to flee in all directions. At the same time, the south gate to Maka City opened and people started running towards the bridge.
Abrafo and Bong looked up at the city gate sky and found that many large eagles had begun to fly towards the erupting Mount Zin.
"Oh shit!" Abrafo exclaimed. "That's not good. Yul and Michio are heading that way."
Bong said, "Those eagles must be from Hajime."
Abrafo said, "You, don't go down to Maka City. You run to the mountain where the other party is hiding." He walked towards the black panther.
Bong grabbed Abrafo's arm and said, "What about you?"
Abrafo said, "I'm going to go get Hajime and U-ri."
Bong said, "Then I will go with you." He held Abrafo's arm tightly.
Abrafo took Bong's hand off from his arm and said, "No, you go to that mountain and wait for me. Never mind, you keep walking as far as you can. It's not safe to breathe in these dusts." He jumped onto the black panther's back. "Wait for me at the first village." He rode the black panther down the hill towards the fleeing people.
"Abrafo! You bastard!" Bong shouted angrily. He looked up at the sky and saw that half of the sky above the south gate of Maka City has been covered in ashes.
People ran toward the hills and toward the city gates, where they had been told to leave shortly before. As lava slowly rushes down Mount Zin. The people thought they were safe once they reached the top, but their luck ended when Zahog flew overhead. The lava dripping from Zahog's wings fell on those who fled, causing some to be burned to death and some to be seriously injured.
Zahog flew over the fleeing people in search of her child and the murderer, but she could not find her child or the murderer. She circled the fleeing people twice, anger taking over. She began to burn those who escaped. After she was satisfied, she flew down towards the city gate, and in a rage, she began to burn down the houses.
They knew that due to the eruption of Mount Zin, they could not travel to the north side of Maka City so they had no choice but to return to the south gate of the city. Therefore, after Zahog left, those who survived Zahog's attack began to move towards the south gate of the city.
There were two other people sitting on the same wolf as Yul, and Yul rushed towards the crowd with a child in his arms.
"Stop," Yul said, as he saw an older woman lying on the ground, her legs burned by Zahog's flames. The woman's right leg has turned black. Yul quickly rushed to the woman's side, jumped off the wolf's back, and helped the injured woman onto the wolf's back. "Take them over the mountain." The wolf took off.
"Yul," Michio said. "Where is your wolf?"
"Taking three injured people to the city gate," Yul said.
Michio looked back and said, "There are still people trapped halfway up the mountain."
Yul said, "We can't help everyone when it's this hot. So, don't feel guilty about it."
"Yul... look," Michio said, looking up at the gray sky.
Yul raised his head and saw hundreds of eagles rushing towards Mount Zin. "Hajime..." Yul sighed heavily. "You go ahead."
As soon as Yul finished speaking, an eagle flew directly towards him. By the time Yul reacted, Xun's spear had already been swung at Yul, hitting Yul's chest and knocking Yul away fifty feet. Yul tossed and tumbled, coming to a stop a few feet away from the burning lava flow. Yul knelt down on one knee and spit out a mouthful of blood.
"Yul!" Michio jumped off the wolf and rushed towards Xun. Michio swung the three-section staff towards Xun and started fighting with Xun.
Yul stood up slowly and found that his left shoulder was in severe pain. He believed that because he had difficulty lifting his left arm, this must mean his shoulder or collarbone must have been fractured or cracked. Yul was lucky that he was injured on his left side, not his right. He stretched back, pulled out the sword from the scabbard on his back, rushed forward, and swung the sword at Xun.
Xun pushed Michio away and quickly turned around to block Yul's sword strike, causing Xun to step back towards Michio. At the same time, Michio's three section staff hit Xun in the back, causing Xun to stumble forward towards Yul. Xun, who refused to be stabbed by Yul, thrust his spear forward and stabbed Yul's chest.
Yul knew that he couldn't let Xun escape today. He wanted to end Xun's life at all costs, so he let Xun's spear pierce his broken collarbone, and his sword swung upwards, cutting off Xun's right arm.
The sword was swung out very fast. When Xun felt pain in his right arm, he looked down and saw that half of his forearm was gone. He quickly covered the clean wound on his right elbow with his left hand and screamed in pain.
Michio swung the three-section staff behind Xun's knees knocking Xun to the ground. As he was about to hit Xun again, Zahog landed a few feet away from Yul, Michio and Xun. Michio quickly walked towards Yul, pulled out the spear from Yul's left shoulder, and helped Yul stay away from Zahog and Xun.
Zahog turned her head left and right and walked towards Yul, Michio, and Xun who were retreating from her. As Zahog approached the three men, she caught a whiff of her nemesis. Suddenly, Zahog stretched her head towards Xun, grabbed Xun's left shoulder with her beak, dragged Xun away from Yul and Michio, and flew upward towards Mount Zin. As she neared the center of the crater, she let go of Xun, who fell into the hot lava pond. Zahog circled around, screamed, and flew towards the city gate.
Standing on the top of the mountain and watching Xun fall to his death, Meng smiled and quickly merged into the crowd of people fleeing Mount Zin and down the hill towards the city gate.
Baqar was stunned when he saw the eagles carrying the people flying over the burning walls to the top of the mountain.
Baqar said, "These eagles... they are here to help us." He looked at his soldiers.
Fufu said, "Hajime created these eagles."
Baqar asked, "Who is that?"
Fufu said, "He was the one who saved me from Malik's man."
Dampa said, "With such a powerful person beside us, we can kill Malik easily. Have you tried to convince him to side with us?" He looked at Fufu.
Fufu said, "I have not asked, but I know he will probably refuse."
Baqar saw that the burning flames were already coming towards them and most of the people had left the city. "It's time for us to leave too. Order everyone to leave the city wall," Baqar said.
"Fufu!" Abrafo shouted when he saw Fufu standing among the soldiers at the city gate. "Fufu!"
Abrafo quickly pushed aside the crowd to make way for him to enter the city, but there were too many people, and he was pushed away from the city gate. Despite this, he still pushed forward, but it was difficult for him to ride on the black panther bypassing the crowd. He decided to dismount and squeeze through the crowd into the city gate. He tried to find a way to go to the city wall to inquire about Hajime's whereabout, but the stairs were blocked by so many people. As he turned to look for an alternative route, he happened to see U-ri standing near a bare oak tree. He quickly rushed to U-ri."
"U-ri! U-ri!" Abrafo shouted and waved at U-ri, but U-ri seemed to ignore him. Abrafo quickly pushed the crowd away and continued shouting. "U-ri! U-ri! U-ri!"
U-ri turned around and saw Abrafo walking toward him in the crowd. "Abrafo?" U-ri whispered. "Abrafo! What are you doing?"
Abrafo pushed people away and finally reached U-ri and Hajime. Seeing Hajime's pale face, Abrafo felt scared. "Hajime, what on earth are you doing?" Abrafo said angrily. "You shouldn't use your power." He grabbed Hajime's hand and tried to pull Hajime's hand away from the tree, but his hand was stopped by U-ri. "U-ri?"
"Hajime want to do this," U-ri said.
"What on earth are you talking about?" Abrafo said. "You know exactly what would happen if he did this."
U-ri said, "I know, and he knows it too! But Abrafo, you can't take this opportunity away from him. This is his chance to redeem himself from the mistakes he believes he has caused."
Abrafo said angrily, "Nonsense. This is not the time for vindication or redemption."
U-ri held Abrafo's wrist tightly. "I'm not asking you. I'm just telling you as a friend and a companion. I could simply take Hajime away, but I didn't..."
Abrafo asked, "Why didn't you?"
U-ri said, "Because I respect Hajime's decision, and I know what it's like to fail and live with guilt."
