Weakly Charlotte's eyes flutters open. She tries to adjust to the bright light shining through the little window near the ceiling that falls directly unto her face. Just as she thought she can use her hand to cover her eyes, a force stops her. Both her hands and feet are tied to the bed. She starts to panic recalling what happened. Instinct kicks in and she immediately tries to get loose pulling her arms and her legs to see where she can slip out of the robes.
"Help!" She starts to scream trying to fight herself loose. She has no idea where she is, but even that makes her hope someone will hear her. "Help me!"
"Continue screaming like that and you'll loose all your front teeth," a deep voice comes from the stairs that leads into the dark room. She looks up to see the familiar face she knows so well.
"Charles?" She asks surprised. "Get me out of here."
"Get you out of here?" He laughs and walk up to the bed. "No darling, you're mine now."
"No, Charles. Please don't do this," she begs and starts crying. He sits down next to her and grab her chin to keep her face still. "Please."
"Shut up!" he shouts in her face. "You can scream as much as you like, fight as hard as you can, you are not getting out of here. You're mine now and you will do everything and anything I want."
"No," she cries trying to pull her face away from his hand. He removes his hand and slaps her across her cheek. She screams in pain and try to hide her face.
"You want another one?" He asks viciously and press his fist against her cheek.
"No," she cries. He grabs her hair and force her to look at her.
"You love Olivia and Mila, don't you?" He asks. She nods her head painfully. "If you dare try something, Sam won't only be missing his ex-wife, but one daughter and then the other. Do you understand?"
She simply cries and close her eyes trying not to imagine what he's got planned.
"Do you understand?" He shouts in her face.
"Yes!" She cries. He let's go of her hair and stands up looking at her.
"You will learn to love me and soon we'll be a happy family," he says before leaving. He goes up the stairs leaving her tied to the bed crying as if her life depends on it.
Sam unhappily stands in the kitchen looking at the Olivia that sits at the table waiting for breakfast then at Mila that's seated nex tot Olivia playing with the flowers on the table.
"Did mommy call yet?" Olivia asks. The corners of her mouth pulls down, her little bottom lip puffs up and sadness takes over her face.
"Hey, don't cry," Sam comforts her and goes to them. He hugs her and kisses her hair. "I'm sure she's just a little busy. I'll try find out today, okay?"
"Daddy, I want mommy," Mila starts crying. Sam immediately picks her up to comfort his little girl. Olivia also breaks out crying to her mother. Their innocent hearts breaking, missing their mom.
"I'll get out," Charlotte whispers to herself just trying to stay calm. Her body is aching and her wrists are burned by the robe.
Charles enters the room holding a bucket of warm water and a sponge. He puts it down next to the bed and takes a seat next to her.
"Can you unty me?" She asks hesitantly. "My body is soar and I need the bathroom."
He flips out a knife from his pocket and show it to her. She turns ice cold looking terrified at the knife.
"I make the decisions here," he says and starts cutting open her clothes. She looks up trying not to cry as he continues to cut open her clothes. The pictures of her daughters comes up in her mind. She'll do anything for them, but not being with them kills her. Once her shirt was cut open, he tears is off her and throws it down. He grabs the sponge and starts washing her and touching her. "Stupid Sam. Thought he can have you all to himself again, didn't he? He's an idiot."
After bathing her, he leaves her laying naked on the bed as he goes out. Charlotte cryingly lays there embarrassed and feeling dirty still feeling his hands all over her body.
Sam looks at the police officer standing in her kitchen looking at the photos that's left on her counter.
"We can't proof she's kidnapped," thenpolice officer says to him. "We can only file a missing person's report and hope she's alive."
"This doesn't make any sense," Sam says looking around hoping something would add up. "This is not like Charlotte to just dissappear. Who would do this? Why her?"
"Sam, if there's anyone you can think of, you need to tell us so we can try our best to find her," he says. Sam nods and inhales deeply trying to think of someone, but he can't put his fingers down on who it might be.
"I'm just...hoping she'd walk in here and this was all for nothing," Sam mutters and grab his head. "How do I explain this to our girls?"
Charles finally loosened Charlotte taking her to the bathroom locking her inside. She looks around desperately for a window, but there's only a tiny little window near the roof. It finally makes sense. She's in a basement or some compartment under the house. His house. Desperately she goes to the toilet to do her things. When she was finally done, she looked around for a weapon to see if there is any chance of getting out here.
"Are you done?" Charles asks. There's nothing she can use.
"Yes," she eventually replies and hugs herself to cover her naked body. The door goes open and Charles looks at her.
"Good girl," he says and makes his body full before her. "Keep it up and we might just get along perfectly well."
He grabs her around the body pushing her against him. She looks away scared wishing that whatever he's trying to do, he'd fail. He tries to kiss her and touches her. She finally gathers the courage to push him away. Charles barely moves backwards. The dark look in his eyes scares her. He slaps her across the face straight to the ground. Angrily he goes down and push her down on the ground forcing himself unto her.
