The room's basic furniture included a double bed, a pair of tables and chairs, and a closet. On the bed, there was nothing but the naked mattress. It was challenging to conceal anything in the space due to the minimal furniture.
Alex shut the door and began looking for hints with his "Death Vision." He could see bloodstains on the desk, mattress, and wardrobe in the black and white image. There was also a significant psychological shift underneath the mattress. An exquisite silver bracelet was concealed under the mattress, which Alex discovered after a cursory examination of the area.
Alex took up the bracelet and instantly felt a link to it, a prompt from the cemetery system coming to him in his thoughts. The prompt asked him whether he wished to absorb the spiritual energy contained in the bracelet, explaining that it was a magical object. While Alex was aware of the bracelet's value and was aware that it would be hard to purchase it legally, he gladly opted to absorb the energy. All the features of the cemetery would be turned on by absorbing the spiritual energy.
As it was absorbed, the bracelet released a light blue halo that was considerably more potent than the Alex halo of the half-bone whistle. This demonstrated that an intact magic object contains a lot more spiritual energy than one that has been harmed. The bracelet crumbled into powder and dispersed on the ground as the halo vanished.
Alex experienced vertigo and a humming sound in his head, as if the computer had rebooted as the bracelet was absorbed. When he came to, he examined the cemetery area and noticed that a blue crystal symbol had materialised in the top right corner, signifying the existence of 25 mental energy points.
Excited by this news, Alex looked up the skeleton troops' status and learned that they could be hired for just five psychic energy points. He called forth a tall, well-armed skeleton soldier with a short sword and a circular shield. The skeleton soldier was a useful addition to Alex's arsenal because it was clever and obedient.
Overall, Alex GOLDERT was pleased with his progress as a half-baked junior necromancer apprentice. However, he encountered another problem while attempting to recruit skeleton soldiers in the cemetery.
Necromancers typically use Soulism to summon undead creatures, but Alex was not skilled enough to do so. He was unsure of how the Overall, as a junior necromancer apprentice, Alex GOLDERT was happy with his development. While trying to gather skeletal warriors at the cemetery, he ran into another issue.
Alex wasn't competent enough to employ Soulism, the method used by necromancers to conjure the dead. He left the graveyard and went back to Baron Albert's home since he didn't know how the skeleton troops had materialised and was reluctant to recruit any more.
Alex chose to ask Alvis for assistance. so he left the cemetery and returned to the house of Baron Albert.
The following day, a blond man from the Special Bureau, a division of the government that deals with extraordinary circumstances, was dispatched to Baron Albert's estate to investigate the inexplicable demise of the baron. The trainee cleaner Sauron was sent by Viscount Ashby in place of Alex. When Alex was let free, he returned to GOLDERT Castle to seek Alvis for assistance.
Alvis inquired about Alex's meeting with the two men and one lady who had arrived at the castle because he was curious about the secret bureau. Before Sauron took his position, Alex claimed he was unable to see them well. Alvis expressed his dismay before inquiring about any difficulties Alex had experienced. Alex said that he only wanted Alvis' assistance.
Alvis and Alex are good friends, with Alex being a knight and a member of the GOLDERT family. Alex, however, has recently developed a passion for learning about undead magic and has even succeeded in becoming a magic apprentice in this area.
Alvis is astounded by this information because the GOLDERT family would greatly benefit from Alex's abilities as a necromancer. Alex is still a novice trainee in magic, but he doesn't have a mentor to help him. Alvis kindly offers to assist by introducing Alex to Dr. Fauci, a senior magician apprentice from the GOLDERT family with a wealth of knowledge and magical skills.
Dr. Fauci has the utmost esteem from Viscount Ashby and stands a solid possibility of advancement to the rank of fully-fledged magician in the near future. Alvis brings Alex to see Dr. Fauci in the meditation chamber on the castle's top level in the hopes that he might aid Alex in his research on undead magic.
Only the Laurens housekeeper and the GOLDERT family's direct descendants have access to the upper level of the castle, which is a closed location for them. Alex also knows that Dr. Fauci resides there, but in order to get there, he needs Alvis' assistance.
The meditation chamber, which has a meditation room, laboratory, study, and bedroom, sits on the top level of the castle's east tower. Dr. Fauci is busy doing experiments with his pupils when Alvis brings Alex to visit him. Alvis and Alex observe the experiment while waiting calmly to the side.
Dr. Fauci sees Alex's presence and asks Alvis why he came to visit him once the experiment is over. Alvis reveals that Alex became a necromancer without the aid of a tutor, and he requests that Dr. Fauci teach him some of the fundamental magic used in the undead system.
Alex's success in becoming a magic apprentice without the aid of an instructor and with the use of a broken bone whistle astounded Dr. Fauci. He concedes to helping Alex understand the fundamentals of the undead system since he can see that Alex and Alvis are telling the truth, despite his reservations.
Alex apologises for his earlier remark and acknowledges that he is ignorant about magic because he lacked a mentor to help him with his studies. He begs Dr. Fauci, who is skilled in many different kinds of magic, if he can teach him some fundamental magic of the undead system.
