guards! guys hide, i think those guards are here for Jason!" Isabella shrilled but it was too late, the guards already saw them
"Hey you there!" the head guard called out to jason abruptly
"What insolence! you should pay respect to the princess first" Sara chastised the head guard angrily
"i apologize for my rudeness your highness, greetings to you" the head guard bowed
"Its fine, what has brought the royal head guard here? ain't you supposed to be guarding his majesty?" Isabella asked
"Yes, but as it's the ritual time and his majesty can't step out of the palace, i have been ordered to bring your human friend to the royal station" the head guard said
"Human friend? He's not my friend, he was wandering around and got lost, I'm only trying to show them the way around back to their own territory, is that against the nation's law too?"
"No, your highness. but news have reached us that this isn't the first time he's visiting"
"But this is the first time you're seeing him, isn't it?"Anabella raised angry brows at the head guard
"well...yes, your highness"
"And you, do you understand the description i gave you?" Isabella asked Jason grimly
"huh, yeah, yes i do" Jason stuttered
"good, now leave, and never wander around here again" Isabella said strictly with a hidden meaning and jason nodded in understanding
"hmm, i wont wander around again" Jason said "Thanks for your kindness, we'd leave now" Jason said and then quickly walked away with max
"Just tell his highness that he was gone before you arrived" Isabella said and the head guard bowed lightly
"i understand, your highness. you should also return inside, you shouldn't be outside like this" the head guard said and Isabella sighed helplessly
"fine, lets go" Isa said said and they all thrusted into the palace

"Young master, you aren't planning to go to that place again, are you?" max asked worriedly and jason respired heavily
"so what do you expect of me huh? just sit down here doing nothing? max, i'd rather die than to stop seeing her, my sneaking out hasn't been so meaningful until i met her, I've always lived like a living dead all this while
"you don't need to follow me or sneak behind me, i won't take long, i'd just check whether she's waiting at the garden or not" Jason said stubbornly and grabbed his bag pack hurriedly before dashing off
Max respired helplessly and sat down on the available couch

Jason got to the garden and sighed in disappointment when he saw no one,he looked around for a while before turning to leave
"Jace?" He heard the tiny sweet voice he's been longing for call him softly and his heart raced in joy
"Hazel" he rushed to hug her but he felt her reluctance
"No Jace,you shouldn't have come" she cried
"Capture the intruder!" I suddenly heard a hoarse voice order sternly and a few guards rushed to me and grabbed my arms
Isabelle broke down on her knees with bitter tears rolling down her face.
"Uncle please, I swear on my life, I'm never going to see him again" she weeped
"Of course, I'd make sure you don't even remember ever meeting him, take the princess away" ashes ordered and some guards took hazel away while I was dragged to a prison where I was kept for several days before I was brought out to the palace hall.
Hazel looked like she was being forced to do something against her Will but I couldn't hear anything they were discussing from afar

"Drink the oblivion tea now or you watch me order for the head of that wretched lowly human friend of yours!" King Larson said sternly and Isabella raised her brows with a determined look on face and stood up with a determined look on her face.
"Go back on your knees Isabella!" King Larson hollered angrily that everywhere vibrated
'this is not going to end well' I thought within myself as I watched Isabella stared back at the king with the same expression
"You tell me father, why am I not allowed to befriend a human, afterall I'm equally one" Isabella said angrily earning a tight slap across her face from the king
"You would not disgrace me like this in front of everyone,now go back on your knees young lady" king Larson ordered sternly and Isabella scoffed
"And if I don't? Would I be thrown into the dungeon again?" She challenged
"Isabella what are you doing?" Mara said between gritted teeth and signalled to Isa to obey the king
"Ella please kneel down!" I pleaded, hoping she would at least, listen to me of all people.
But,who was I kidding?
Isabella moved to start walking towards me and the head guard placed a sword against my neck.
"Take one more step, and you would witness a head flying" king Larson said grimly and isa grinned
"Watch me" she said and before anyone could comprehend what's happening, she was already standing before me and the sword was now against the head guard's neck. She was so meticulous and swift when she flew over to me and snatched the sword that even the king's eyes dilated in surprise.
"Belle...." I called out her name for the first time
"Shhhh" she signalled to me to shut up and bent down to my level
"Don't say anything,just listen to me carefully. You might not make it out of here, I might die too. I don't know how they run the afterlife but hey, you can forget everything else, but don't you ever forget this moment " she said and before I could ask any question,she crashed her lips into mine and hunted for my tongue, I could taste something salty in my mouth and there I knew she was crying. We both cried while expressing our affection for each other with our tongues.
I could feel her warm breath on me and she could also feel mine.
I loved the moment. I didn't wanted it to end.
"I love you Jason, and my heart is going to miss you very much" she said softly,while staring into my eyes with her beautiful hazel eyes
I opened my mouth to say the same thing to her but fresh tears came rolling down my cheeks instead.
"I won't forget you, I promise never to forget this moment especially" I managed to say and the next moment,a sword was on my neck again
"What insolence! You wretched human being, you think you can trap my daughter with some fragile love and make her weak, you wouldn't get away with this" king Larson said angrily
"I'd do whatever you ask me to do, but let him go, he would never come back here again, I promise you" Isabella said solemnly and King Larson huffed
"You better not be deceiving me this time!" King Larson said
"I promise on my life" Isabella said and I knew it was a goodbye, she couldn't meet my eyes when I was being dragged out.
I wanted to see her face again, even if it's for a brief moment but it was all in my head, who knew a bigger problem was awaiting me at home.
Of course! My parents would have searched everywhere for me, I was locked up for six days.
