Chapter 267: Return
Mist ended up forming water and this one continued to be compressed until a solid shape started to appear.
In just a few more seconds, a beautiful blue-haired girl that they all were familiar with, was standing before them.
They all stared in bafflement at the sight before them. The navigator was the first one to react.
"Vivi!" Nami called her name with urgency.
She smiled at her girlfriend. By the tone of her voice, it seemed like Nami had been very desperate to see her again.
"I missed you too too, Nami!."
"You are naked!" Nami screamed.
"What?..."
She looked down at herself. She was of course lacking any form of clothes.
"Well, it makes sense… I just made this body. Didn't have time for clothes…"
"Vivi!" Shouted Law.
"I know I'm naked, just give me a second!." Vivi huffed in annoyance. She had just come back from the dead and they were already stressing her.
"Is not that! look behind you!" Law pointed out.
She turned around and saw it.
The mass of water that had been her body moments ago, was now quickly losing its shape and collapsing back into the sea where it came from.
If it were to fall so abruptly, the collision with the sea waters would end up creating an enormous wave that would destroy the entire island and kill everyone in it.
"Oh…that. Yeah, that's bad…" As she stared at the moving mass of water, she still felt a strong connection with it. Not only that but but could also feel every source of water on the entire island.
The sensation was a bit overwhelming, but not an unpleasant one. The feeling of being surrounded by her element, made her feel safer and more complete.
With renewed confidence, Vivi gave her friends a thumbs up.
"Relax guys, I got this…probably."
"Probably?!" Nami blurted out.
"So…we 'probably' wand die… that's good." Sabo gave a thumbs up.
Vivi made some hand movements and the entire mass of water was lifted in the air.
"What the-" The words escaped Doflamingo's mouth before he managed to control himself. He watched in silence as Vivi moved all of it away, several miles of the island coast, and deposited it gently back onto the sea, making the water level recover to its previous level without creating more than a few small waves.
"Uff…made it!" Vivi performed a gesture as if she were trying to clean the nonexistent sweat from her forehead.
Nami was going to take her jacket off, and hand it to Vivi when Law stopped her.
"Here, take mine…yours won't cover that much."
Law took off his long black coat and gave it to her. It had cuts and holes in several places from his fight against Doflamingo.
Nami grabbed the clothes while thanking Law and went quickly to Vivi's side.
"Put this on, hurry up." Said Nami.
"Wow, thank…this is filled with holes." Vivi pointed out.
"Are you complaining?, you are literally wearing nothing right now!" Nami shouted at her with frustration.
"Jezz…okay." Vivi decided to avoid the argument and put the coat on.
"Looks like we got lucky in the end, right bro?....Luffy?" Called Sabo.
Luffy was in some sort of trance while looking at Vivi.
"Are you okay brother?" Sabo said while shaking his shoulder.
This seems to wake him up from his state and his eyes came back to life.
"That was weird…" Said Luffy.
Sabo smirked.
"Say brother…is this the first time you see a naked girl?"
"Not sure" Luffy paused to think. "Are they all like this?"
Sabo chuckled.
"No, that one is definitely top of the line. It seems like there is a lot I must teach you, little brother."
"Looks like I don't need to wait any longer then!."
Doflamingo appeared right next to Vivi, ready to rip her head off.
"Die!" His fingers had turned into sharp strings and were coated with armament haki.
Vivi lifted her right hand and a stream of water came out of her sleeve. Then, it transformed into a shield made of compressed ice that deflected the attack.
"You waited for me to get dressed? wow, you know?, Deep down you are kind of a gentleman. "
Before Doflamingo could try again, he received a powerful punch in the stomach that forced him to distance himself from Vivi and Nami.
"Your oponent is me! Don't you forget it." Luffy hissed.
"Tsk!, very well. I'll start with you." Said the Shichibukai.
"Need a hand?" Sabo asked, even though he already knew what his answer was going to be.
"No…I must do this by myself. I have promised to kick this guy's ass and a Captain must always keep his promises" Luffys eyes were sharp as a blade.
"Right." Sabo smiled. "Then go kick his ass, little bro. Show me how much you have grown."
They all noticed the aura around Luffy changing.
"Let's go!, Gear…fourth!"
