Chapter 58: Arrival

The engine was turned on and the Rocketman started to move.

"Are you sure is safe to drive, Kokoro?" Asked Nami to the driver, not really liking the way the train was shaking.

Kokoro laughed. "It's fine. Although it is a prototype, the engine part runs with no problems."

"That was oddly specific." Zoro pointed out.

"Are you sure you want to bring your granddaughter to this?" Asked Vivi while looking at Chimney.

"Don't worry, even if we crash, I'm a great swimmer!" Chimney gave Vivi a thumbs up.

"That wasn't really my concern…though it is now." Vivi decided to drop the matter, there was no arguing with those two.

The docks that they left from were at least thirty feet above sea level, so the train flew for a bit before landing on the water.

They then heard the Franky family, who had been waiting for them.

"There they are!"

"We are heading out boys!"

"Sodom!, Gomorrah!. Let's go!"

The two sea kings jumped into the water while carrying the entire Franky house behind them.

"Guys!, we are going to need a push until we hit the rails!" Yelled Kokoro.

The sea kings quickly got behind the train and started to push it.

"Let's see…the rail seems to have been moved away by the strong waves…ah!, there it is" Kokoro spotted the rails.

"Over there!" she pointed out.

The sea kings pushed the Rocketman until it made contact with the rails with a loud clank noise.

"There we go!" Said Kokoro with excitement.

The moment it was completely connected to the rails, the tiny train started to gain speed at an alarming rate.

"Whoooo!!, is so fast!" Luffy had half his body out of the window.

"Luffy, get back inside. At this speed, if you fall into the water, we will never find you!" Yelled Nami.

"How long it will take us to reach Enies Lobby?" Asked Vivi to Kokoro.

"Normally, the Puffing Tom takes four hours. This one can probably do it in less than two."

—------------------------------------------------------

We continued our journey with almost no trouble, other than Luffy and Zoro having to punch a giant wave and then fight some marine that looked like a zombie.

Once they were close to reaching their objective, the Franky family got to their side and told them that they had found Sanji swimming alone.

After the cook was inside the train, He started to tell them his story.

"I managed to infiltrate the Puffing Tom and made my way to the latest wagon where Robin was…but….she still refused to come with me and those guys were too strong to beat them by myself." Said Sanji, looking downcast.

"Cheer up Sanji, now that we are all together, well definitely get her back!" Said Luffy with confidence.

"There is something else. I found out the real reason Robin went with those guys!" Claimed Sanji.

"Because of the Buster Call?." Asked Nami.

Sanji made a surprised expression.

"You know too?!...but, yes…she has some story with the CP9 and they are using everything they have to blackmail her into cooperating. I just wanted you to know because even if we find her, she may not be willing to come with us."

"She is worried about our safety if she were to come…" Said Nami.

"I still think she is being an idiot. She could have stayed with us and then we could beat everyone while working together." Blurted Luffy.

"She has been traumatized by the marines, you can't expect her to act rationally." Said Usopp.

"Oi!" They heard the voice of Kokoro.

"The island is in sight! prepare yourselves."

"Yes!!, finally!" Luffy rose his fist in the air.

"Let me say something before we land." Spoke Paulie.

"Once we get to land, let us and the Franky family take care of the marines. You guys need to reach the Judicial Tower. Is a huge tower at the other end of the island, you can't miss it. That's the most likely place to keep your crewmate and Franky prisoner since it's the best-guarded place on the island."

"Big tower… can't miss it…go it" Mumbled Zoro.

" Also the Gates of Justice is on the other side of the tower. You need to rescue the prisoners before they are taken there. The Marines are the only ones with the means to navigate the waters beyond those gates." Said Paulie.

"Go it. Leave the CP9 to us" Luffy gave him thumbs up.

"We are almost on land! grab on to something. This thing does have any brakes!" Yelled Kokoro.

"Wait…it doest have brakes?" Asked Usopp.

"Well…you see. Once the engine starts running it becomes impossible to stop it so they never bother installing any brakes, to begin with. That's why the Rocketman was abandoned as a prototype." Answer Kokoro.

"You said the engine had no problems!" cried Nami.

"I said the engine runs fine, and it does. It just doesn't stop, that's all." Kokoro shrugged.

"Stopping is a very important part!" Yelled Zoro.

The train collided against the metal fence that was placed right before the land. Rocketman managed to bend the fence, creating a ramp, and used it to fly into the sky.

The crew was not very enthusiastic about flying on a train.

"We are going to die!" Yelled Usopp.

"EH? are we really going to die?!" Asked the naive Chopper.

"Nami, Vivi! Jump into my protective arms!" Offered Sanji.

"We are going to crash against the gate!" Cried Nami.

"Wait!, I see two giants next to the gate. We may still get lucky!" Said Vivi.

"I think we are going the wrong way. I don't see any big towers." Said Zoro while looking through the side window.

Back on the ground, the Franky family was still fighting their way through a horde of marines. Then they saw the Rocketman flying over their heads.

"Oh no!"

"We haven't opened the gates yet!"

"They are going to crash!"

"Hold on to something!" suggested Kokoro.

"Gomu gomu no…ballon!" Luffy inflated himself to create some sort of airbag and protect his crew.

The train went through the air until it crashed against the stomach of an unsuspecting giant who was trying to protect the giant gate that leads to the main part of the island.

The giant then proceeds to crash against the gates, breaking them and falling down.

The train then landed on the ground and slid for a few more feet.

"What was that?!" The confused marines asked.

"With that kind of landing….are they okay in there?..." One of the members of Franky's family wondered.
