The Lord Commander walked inside the palace, he was walking on the red carpet placed on the entire floor. There were many portraits, arts drawn by talented artists from across the Empire.
There were also beautiful flavours in a well drawn porcelain vase placed on top of the tables. As he walked forward, there was one thing which was clear as daylight. The fact that no one was present there, it was as if everything was an illusion or enchantment made to make people believe everything is pretty.
The Commander stopped in front of a large stairway which opened a path to the second floor but he waited since it wasn't a good way to behave if he were to walk around and explore the palace without the permission of the owner of the abode.
"WELCOME.. WELCOME.. WELCOME.." He turned around hearing a voice and saw the Count walking down using the staircases.
