Christy's POV
"Are you 'short' of words?" Kehinde asked looking at Ugochukwu from head to toe.
"Christy?!" Ugochukwu was getting irritated.
"Don't join me in your fight!, I will join when the both of you are done fighting,this is no Kdrama, by the way there is still time and I believe you can defeat him" I said nonchalantly.
"What kind of a friend are you" Ugochukwu asked giving a disappointed look.
"A good one, since two of you are ready to fight for no reason, I am eager to watch, after all I have not seen a wrestling match in real life, I'm waiting for you to shred your shirt in pieces and attack Kehinde and I am waiting for Kehinde to be in his boxers and fight you back " I said to both of them.
"So what you are saying is that we should stop arguing " Kehinde asked.
"No!, continue,kill yourselves, become werewolves on the first day of you two meeting,satisfy yourselves with violence, I am here to hype you!" I said sarcastically.
" I don't understand " Ugochukwu was giving a confused face.
"I'll stop arguing with you if you stop touching my wife " Kehinde said and I was shocked and I also...blushed, hey! Why won't I...I was caught off guard. Ugochukwu had wide eyes, 'he could not believe his ears'.
"I'm not....." I tried to explain again but I was interrupted.... again!!!.
"Yeah!, don't be shy be proud after all you have a handsome husband " Kehinde said and he was wiggling his eyebrows at me. I don't even know what to say to him,I was confused like why is Kehinde acting like this.
"I'm totally lost" Ugochukwu said and walked out.
"One out,one more to go" Kehinde murmured and I pretended not to hear him.
"Kehinde!, what was that about?!" I asked hitting his chest and he did not even flinch instead my hand started paining me,I wondered if his chest was made of steel.
"So...where is the Andrew Ajileye I heard you invited?" He asked ignoring my question. I scanned the area thinking that I will find Andrew but I was disappointed, he did not come. He is in so much trouble on Monday, I will deal with him.
"I don't know,go and find him yourself " I said and walked away.
"Hey! Christy!" Hazel waved at me.
"Hey!, welcome,why are you late?" I asked hugging her.
"There was 'go slow',and I prepared late, I'm sorry don't kill me!"
"I'm happy you came, unlike some promise breakers like Andrew"
"Andrew did not come?, We are sooo gonna kill him on Monday "
"I know,I know, come let me introduce you to my people haha!"
The party was fun,we played different outdoor games, we cracked jokes and laughed and more importantly we ate to our satisfaction. But Esther turned to a Nigerian pop star (N-popstar),she danced for us, and she sang but her voice killed us because we were covering our ears worse the speakers were too loud,the pigeons at the garden flew away.
It was time for my family to leave and I became sad, I wanted them to stay more but My brother needs to prepare for school for Monday.
"We promise to come and stay with you during the weekend that I have chance.....or time" My dad said to me while making me sit on his laps, yeah I'm more like a daddy's girl.
"I will miss you so much" I said and stood up.
"It's okay father and daughter, it's time to go,the house is far from here" my mom said hugging me.
"I will miss all of you"
"We will miss you too my love" my mom said and hugged me again, I hugged everyone before they left.
Monday!!!
"How dare you not come to my birthday party" I asked Andrew, I was boiling with anger.
"Yeah!,how dare you, you are sooo dead" Hazel added.
"But at least I brought your birthday gift?!" Andrew tried to defend.
"Your presence is also like a gift" I said harshly. Andrew paused and blinked, I was too angry to understand anything.
"Look.....I know that you will be angry, I'm so sorry, I promise it will never happen again" he apologized.
"Don't worry Christy,I will help you deal with him....just leave him to me" Hazel said folding her sleeves up.
"Ah!,ah!,ah!, No violence, since he apologized let's leave him" I said to Hazel.
"Andrew!!!" I saw the long head Nneka and her stupid bestie whose name I later found out was Linda, that name fits her because she is so lean, she is as lean as a thin broom stick....at least that's what I noticed.
"I have been looking for you,how many times will I tell you to stop being friends with these losers" Nneka said glaring at me and Hazel.
"Hey!,mind your words rotten mouth" Hazel said and I smiled,I noticed that Hazel has a savage mouth like she just insults randomly and sometimes it's funny.
"Andrew,did you hear what that loser just said?, She called me rotten mouth, it's not fair" she tried to whine but it was irritating and annoying not cute.
"First of all stop touching me, secondly my friends are not losers and thirdly how may I help you,say it and get out of here" Andrew said with a straight face.
"Nneka are you seeing your period?!" Linda whispered to Nneka but I heard it because I was close to them.
"No!,why do you ask" Nneka said rudely to her friend.
"Because I see a blood stain on your skirt " Linda said and I looked down at Nneka's light brown skirt and it was stained with red colour, Hazel started laughing and I understood everything, while Nneka was blabbing and putting all her attention on Andrew, Hazel poured red ink at the back of Nneka's skirt, even Linda did not notice it, nobody knew.
I joined Hazel and laughed and I also gave her a thumbs up,Andrew was confused and he was giving the eyes that says 'please explain to me, I'm lost'.
Nneka looked at the back of her skirt and after five seconds she screamed and ran out,her bestie followed her too.
"You girls want to explain that?!" Andrew asked still giving that confused look.
"No!!!!!" I said quickly.
"But....." Andrew tried to persuade.
"No!, that's your punishment for not coming to my birthday party" I said feeling on top of the world, I was enjoying that confused look he was giving. The bell rang and it was 'break over'. Nneka was too ashamed to walk around the school premises because of her stained skirt,so there was no much disturbance from her and Linda.

School was fun today, it's just that Mr Okoro decided to do a pop quiz and that just spoiled my day.
"Christy tell me a story,I have been trying to sleep but I can't" Esther said blinking her eyes lazily.
"Do I look like an audio novel to you?"I said sarcastically.
"Ah!, Christy this is no time to tease,I know that you are not an audio novel, I'm just finding it difficult to sleep, I am tired"
"Esther what is it, something is disturbing you and I know that, I can feel it, tell me "
"No, I'm not telling you "
"Ok!,no story for you,if you tell me I will sing a lullaby for you,by the way we are best friends, what are best friends for?, you share your problems to me, I share mine to you and a problem shared is a problem..." I was interrupted, everyone just like to interrupt me when I'm speaking.
"Ok!, I don't want to hear any lecture this night, I will tell you, actually.....I...think I am starting to have a crush on Taiye,I don't even know when it started "
"To be honest, I am not surprised, you two argue Alot like couples so I kind of expected that, well it's not a bad thing you know?!, it's natural so don't worry too much about it, this should not cause your sleepless nights "
"I know, I can't just stop thinking about him though "
"It's okay, close your eyes let me sing for you "
"Okay "
"In...to my heart,in...to my heart, come into my heart Lord Jesus, come in today, come in to stay, come in...to my heart Lord Jesus..." I sang for Esther till I was sure she was asleep,then I switched off the lights and went to bed.
Sometimes she can be such a baby.
