Chapter 6

" Initial Rendezvous with Don Reyansh"

It took three days, and they moved from one location to another, but they could not find Baba Matuwa's whereabouts. They decided to rest on an island and spend the night there because it was already dusk.

"Oh, let's stay here for the night," suggested Wamaro.

"Do you think it is safer here?" asked Tatukwe.

"It's already getting darker, so we are going to stay here for the night and look for something to eat," responded Jrazm. She's been unwell since yesterday due to the different weather they had been exposed to.

They all agreed to stay on this small island full of Coast Redwoods. After Harris went fishing, when they noticed the surroundings getting darker, they decided to rest. Later on, while the others were sleeping, Wamaro and Endang were still awake and distrustful of their surroundings.

"Maybe I can find fruits in other areas," Endang recommended.

"I'm a bit sleepy right now. Be careful," warned Wamaro.

Endang thought of going around the island and ventured to hunt for food, being careful in case there was another danger. When she first went to the right, it was fine until she went back to the left direction.

"Hmm?"

"I passed by here earlier, and nobody was here."

"I'm going to transform, so I can check what's inside."

Endang noticed a large house that was not immediately visible and was standing in front of her. She wondered why there was a flashing light inside it. She thought that potentially she was just squinting, and didn't hesitate to try to touch its wall. It was a real house. Moreover, she heard music as if someone were dancing inside this mansion.

"I discovered something strange, Wamaro," narrated Endang.

"I'm sleepy. We have already talked about not socializing with other people," scolded Wamaro.

"Just ignore it, Endang," he added.

"This is quite different! Believe me," Endang insisted.

She came back and told Wamaro, who was practically lying down due to sleepiness. Wamaro agreed with Endang, even though he was yawning. When he heard about a group of people partying, he immediately headed towards it.

"It's here," whispered Endang.

"You're right. How is that possible?" wondered Wamaro.

"We came here earlier with Tatukwe, but there are only grasses on this site," he added.

"Just be quiet, maybe they will hear us," Endang whispered again.

They slowly peeked through a window. They realized that there was fun or feasting happening inside.

"The world is truly vast. There are many things we have yet to discover," he uttered.

"Potentially, this house is like an aircraft, or maybe they use a portal," Endang said.

"Impossible, perhaps they haven't invented such things yet," Wamaro smirked.

"What if we ask them about the portal, about Baba Matuwa, and also about their leftover food?" mumbled Endang.

There are only ordinary people inside, and they are dressed smartly. Decent and wealthy people were present at this feast. People are watching the show on an immense television.

"Let's only ask for bottles of water," he proposed.

Wamaro thought they were fine and had no doubts about their movements. He decided to go inside to ask for water to drink, not because of Endang's requests.

"AHHH‼️‼️…"

When Wamaro was about to open the doorknob, it suddenly burst into flames, and he couldn't stop screaming. At the same time, Endang was frightened and could see the transformation in the appearances of the happy people inside.

"What? They are not humans," expressed Endang.

Ostensibly, the humans inside panicked and evolved into their true form.

"Who is that intruder?" asked Don Reyansh.

"Maybe one of our visitors, my Hubby."

"Sorry, Madame Elisha, but all of our guests are already here," said the butler.

Unbeknownst to the two, this mansion is owned by Dr. Don Reyansh, a Naturopathic Doctor. Alongside him is his spouse, who has a consistently flawless complexion, Dr. Elisha, a Dermatologist and a prominent actor.

Most of their guests are doctors with remarkable backgrounds. First, there is Dr. Putra, a surgeon who had to undergo a procedure himself due to complications.

Next, there is Dr. Anish Vivek, a veterinarian who possesses the ability to switch to any animal species upon death. Currently, he exists as a wolf, but when his body can no longer sustain it, he will transfer to a new animal, becoming its contemporary body.

Lastly, there is Dr. Suresh, a neurologist who is relatively new to this form of existence. He is in mummy form, brought back to life due to his expertise.

One of the reasons for celebrating this day is Dr. Suresh's birthday because, with just one task, he will be restored once again. Their skeleton staff, as well as their close friends and family, are also joining in the festivities.

(•••Before Wamaro outcries•••)

"Always check your attitude as well. It's not always the world around you; sometimes you are the toxic person."

"Understand that you make mistakes and can hurt people. Apologize, unlearn, and relearn. That's growth."

"Understand that there are things you need to strive for clarity and strive for continuous improvement, rather than false perfection!"

— Jean Brant's line (Elisha's Character) in the recently released movie "UNWONTED AFFAIR."

"I can feel that line, my hubby." — impressed Don Reyansh.

"Don't mention, my love," she responded.

"Can I hear SOME APPRECIATION FROM YOU?!" she growled.

"Everyone responded."

While they prevailed, applauding, everyone was abruptly surprised by the durability of Wamaro's scream. They changed into their natural form. Almost everyone gawked in the direction where Wamaro and Endang stood.

"Leave me here, save yourself. I don't want both of us to be in trouble. Leave now! Go! Make it fast!" ordered Wamaro.

He told his sister, Endang, that she must run away and he would handle the situation. Even though it went against her heart, Endang followed his command.

"Don't do anything bad. We will come back and save you," Endang promised Wamaro. She instantly shrank and then flew rapidly.

She would go back to the place where they were resting. On the way back, Endang realized that if she had not forced Wamaro to go with her, this would not have happened. She blamed herself.

"Everyone, wake up! Wamaro is in danger!" stated Endang.

"Still dark outside. I'm still sleepy. WHAT DO YOU MEAN???"—shocked Tatukwe.

"Why is it always like this, Wamaro?"—sighed Jrazm.

"Let's go and rescue him!"—spoke Harris.

"I'm going to be on the spaceship. Prepare everyone,"—told Ahn.

Instantly, Wamaro was surprised to find himself in the middle of the house, surrounded by them, and came to return everyone to their typical mortal form.

"What is a child like you doing here in the inner wilderness? Do you realize you're on the Dark Island?"—Doctor Anish chastised the stiff Wamaro.

"Wait, are you sure no one brought him here?"—speculated Suresh.

"Come on, guys, he's just a kid,"—declared Dr. Elisha. Then she drinks her blood wine.

"I'm sorry, I got lost, and I didn't expect I'd disembark here. I'm just thirsty and hungry,"—explained Wamaro.

"Since I see that you are celebrating and partying, I was wondering if I could have some water,"—he added. Wamaro is trembling with every word he speaks.

While everyone ponders, a butler decides that he will make it into a savory dish.

"Let's continue the party!" shouted Dr. Putra.

Even though Wamaro feels fear in those moments, he still shows resilience and courage. Even if he perishes, at least his siblings won't sympathize.

"Let me handle this obstreperous kid," bragged Butler.

As the butler hypnotizes the boy, Wamaro follows him into the kitchen. He is fully aware of what's going on. The muscles around his tear ducts loosen, and his eyes appear radiant and lachrymose.

Apparently, they pass in front of Don Reyansh, who has been seriously fretting.

"Stop. Didn't you smell this boy?" he asserts.

"Oh yes, it stinks like earth! Haha! Haha!" Dr. Putra exclaims.

"I crave fresh blood, and I'm thirsty inside," drooled Dr. Anish.

"Fools! Try to touch that, and I'm sure you'll be reduced to ashes in no time," Don Reyansh yelled at them.

"Oh, my hubby! Relax," soothed Dr. Elisha.

Everyone was frightened by what Don Reyansh announced. The crowd was horrified, but unfortunately…

"I will eat your brains!" a skeleton gardener exclaimed.

The skeleton gardener, unable to avoid Wamaro, rushed in and bit his hand. It sucked his blood and attempted to eat Wamaro's brain. The other creatures were about to emerge when they were abruptly halted because the gardener's corpse suddenly slumped and turned into ashes!

"🅱️🅾️🅾️🅾️Ⓜ️⁉️"

Most of them strode away from where Wamaro was still under hypnosis. Virtually everyone was twitching with dread, except for Don Reyansh.

"Fuck." angrily said one of them.

In the blink of an eye, Don Reyansh appeared in front of Wamaro. But the kid is still hypnotized.

"Hmm, he couldn't bring you here. How is it possible? Well, we haven't seen each other in years, my old pal. Hahaha," he whispered.

"This is a distinct kind of method. Do you think you can frighten me?." while strolling around, babbling to Wamaro.

Now, Don Reyansh uses his power. Using hypnosis, the victim can admit guilt and apprise his authentic feelings.

"Who propelled you here?"

"Because I was lost… I was with my siblings… We were just searching for something to eat and drink water, and suddenly, your house appeared… Just taking a chance to ask…" continuously said Wamaro.

"Tell me, did you come here to kill me?"

"We are just looking for Baba Matuwa, she is the answer to everything."

"Hahaha, hmm… What a stroke of luck. You're lucky, and I am satisfied now."

"The next time we meet, I won't ignore you."

"I will kill you."

"Remember my words, young boy. Hahaha." whispered Don Reyansh.

"Who is this kid, Reyansh?" asked Dr. Suresh.

"HOLY F*CK. I understand now." exclaimed Dr. Anish.

"Oh, sh*t. So, what's the plan?" flabbergasted Dr. Putra exclaimed.

Doctor Elisha instructed everyone to evacuate, and the procession came to an end. Their faces still displayed frustration and ferocity from their presence, but they preferred not to end up like their colleagues who had turned to ashes.

"The past will always come back to haunt you, instead of running away. You need to deal with it, my love. Do the right thing this time," advised Dr. Elisha.

"I will try, my love," Don Reyansh responded. Then they kissed.
