Even though he had been locked up for a long time, he still had his animalistic instinct intact. Using his senses, he barely managed to dodge the attack launched from the shadows at the last moment.
Shivers ran through his spine as he did because even though he had moved his head to the side in time, there was still a finger sized cut on his cheek that went quite deep.
