The astonishing power radiating from the blade of the Demon-slaying Sword swept away all the Yin Energy around, affecting several evil spirits closest to Fan Wu first and foremost.
They hadn't seen clearly how Fan Wu had drawn the sword.
They only saw a flash of sword light before their eyes, and then their spectral bodies were engulfed in the blinding radiance of the sword's energy!
Their forms began to collapse in the blink of an eye!
And they started to disintegrate!
In the span of that blink, nearly a dozen evil spirits were eradicated by the Demon-slaying Sword, originally under the command of no more than about a hundred evil spirits overseen by the Blade-handling Ghost General.
And out of these hundred or so, Fan Wu's single strike had cleared nearly a tenth.
