Denki walks with both Sakura and Bujo. Sakura and Bujo walks quietly and sneakily through the city, while Denki blindly follows their lead. "There's guards all around the city..that's why people like us need to be careful." Bujo whispers to Denki, while checking his surroundings.
Bujo then looks at Denki, while Sakura does the same. "Right, Makiya?" With those simple words from Bujo, the name "Makiya" lingers in Denkis mind. He snaps out of his detached state with widened eyes, and partly opened lips.
Denki begins to think of Makiya. More specifically, he thinks of the promise that Makiya made to him. The promise to see the sun and sky together. "Makiya.." Denki mumbles to himself, while spacing out.
Bujo and Sakura glance at once another with obvious confusion. Confusion for the state of Denki. The person that they believe is the fierce and strong Makiya. "Aaaanyways, we need to get to the hideout quickly, or else they'll discover Makiyas missing. They will explode her heart." Sakura comments, but Denki has no reaction.
Bujo nods his head, and the three of them continue on their to their hideout through Atama city. They mostly go through alleyways to avoid people, and the large quantity of guards and patrols. "I just looove alley ways. I practically grew up in them. But I mostly love the cats that would keep me company when I was feeling alone." Sakura states to Denki, as they make their way through a rundown and abandoned restaurant.
Wooden planks lay on the ground, and there's trash everywhere as well. Denki practically ignores her every word, as they walk down to the bottom of the restaurant. The bottom is fairly dark with little to no light emitting through. "Let's go.." Bujo commands as he opens up a dumpster, and jumps inside of it.
Sakura jumps in right after him, while Denki stares at Sakura. The two make eye contact with one another, except Sakuras smile is much different than Denkis empty state. "Come on." Sakura softly suggests, with her hand reached out to Denki.
The softness in her voice seems to be really out of character for her. Denki remembers how ecstatic and wild she was during the break in at the district one slave combat arena.
Denki looks at the hand of Sakura. He then grabs onto her hand, and follows her into the dumpster.
They proceed to crawl into a hole that's behind the dumpster, surrounded by old rundown brick. The further they go inside, the less brick they see. And the more stone they see as well.
Eventually, they're able to stand on their own two feet. Surrounded by stone walls, and a metal door just up ahead of them. The metal door also has five locks on it "What is this place?" Denki questions with concern, as he looks around the compact area they're inside of.
Bujo knocks on the metal door, while Sakura smiles at Denki with her hands on her hips. "It's the resistance. Duhh!" Sakura responds to Denkis question, and it leaves him with even more confusion than when he first asked the question.
Someone on the other side of the door slides a tiny compartment on the door, and peeks their one eye inside of it, to see Denki, Bujo, and Sakura standing there. "What's the password??" The voice of a little girl, no older than ten years old questions.
Bujo sighs, and shakes his head. "You see it's us..c'mon Ten." Bujo pleads in an obvious annoyed tone.
"Hmm well that's not the password." Ten, the little girl on the other side says, before closing the compartment on the door. Sakura almost immediately laughs, while Bujo is obviously annoyed. It's clear with the heavy sigh that he emits from his mouth.
Denki watches the two, and the door with confusion. "What is this place..? I've been a slave for basically all I could remember. Even as a child. So this.." Denki thinks to himself in silence.
"Okayy happy sunshine rainbow power forever." Bujo sighs with his head facing down. Suddenly, the locks on the door are being unlocked, and the door is opened.
"Wasn't so bad huh?" Sakura elbows Bujo with a smile on her face, before walking inside, whistling to herself. Bujo follows behind her while shaking his head in regret. Lastly, Denki follows with curiosity. Ten closes the door behind them, and locks it.
His eyes widen tremendously, once he walks through the door. It's what seems to be a gigantic slave arena. One even bigger than the one he lived inside of. Only difference is it's been altered, and changed. So much so, that it doesn't even seem like a slave combat arena anymore. There's lights as well.
Denki looks down from above, as they're on the top floor, with two sets of stairs that will lead them to the bottom, and to the arena. There's people working, carrying some boxes and other supplies. There's even some kids running around and playing.
As Denki watches, he can't help but be in awe. "What..what is this place..?" Denki asks, while staring down.
Sakura smiles toothy, before grabbing Denkis hand, and raising it in the air. Denki looks over at Sakura with confusion and an awkward face. "Everyone, we have brought back Makiya!!" Sakura yells into the arena, and those word echo.
As a result, Denkis face drops, and his eyes widen as he realizes why they brought him here. "I was..I was out of it. Back then at district one. I didn't fully comprehend what everyone was saying. Everything around me was like moving in slow motion and I couldn't tell what was happening. But...now that I think about it.." Denki thinks to himself, as he looks down at the large quantity of people looking up at him, and whispering to one another.
People start to come out of doors, and everyone starts to smile, one by one. Their faces are lit up with happiness. "Makiya?!" One says. "It's Makiya, she's here!" Another one says.
"But now that I think about it..everything that's happened to get me out..these people-" Denki turns to look at Bujo, and then Sakura. He then once again looks down at everyone. "These people think I'm Makiya." Denki realizes.
