It was a typical Monday morning. A girl woke up to her alarm and started getting ready for the school day. She arrived to school early like she usually did and sat down at a bench, shaded by a large tree, watching all the students enter the school grounds.

Meanwhile in a boys room...

When he woke up he realized that he was going to be late for school.

"Oh, heavens! I swear I set an alarm on." he said as he got off his bed and prepared for school, when he got dressed he went to the front door, grabbed his bookbag and ran outside.

When he reached to the school he was out off breath so he went to sit down on the bench Belle is sitting on.

Belle was sipping on a water bottle, she jumped a bit when Ryan appeared breathless.

"Are you okay?" She asked, noticing how out of breath he was. Did he run all the way here? She thought to herself.

"Yeah, I- I'm fa- fi- fine, oh heavens hah well at least I think so—few!" He said while breathing heavily and ended the sentence with a quick sigh.

"See what had happened was—" he stopped to catch a quick breath and then continued, "I ran all the way here."

Belle chuckled a bit at him being so out of breath. "Would you like some water?" She asked, offering a new full reusable water bottle from her bookbag to the very out of breath boy besides her.

"Oh heavens yes. Thank you...you mind if I just take this entire thing?" he asked as he gently took the water bottle out of her hand.

"No go ahead, you clearly need it more than me." She responded, dropping her hands to her laps.

"Kay." he said as he starts to drink the water.

"Feeling better?" She asked standing up from the bench.

"Yeah, thanks." he answered.

"Well I should get going to class, see you later." She said making her way towards the front door.

He got up, walked with you and said, "I just realized that I didn't introduce myself. My name is Ryan, what's your name?"

"Oh I'm Belle, nice to meet you." She said smiling up at him and extending her hand for him to shake.

"Nice to meet you too." He said as he shakes your hand.

"Which class are you in? I don't remember seeing you around?" She asked looking at his face to try and remember him.

"Well, that makes sense because I'm new here." He replied.

"Oh! And you we almost late on your first day." She said laighing.

"Yeah, I might end up being late eventually." He said with a chuckle while rubbing the back of his head.

"At least your a good runner." She said jokingly. "This is my class." She said as they stood in front of the door.

"Hey, which class is this?" He asked.

"This is class 2." she answered.

"Well then see you later!!" he said with a smile.
