Wedding cars decorated in heart-shaped floral wreaths and white ribbon decors,tulle ribbons,bows,decoration with ribbons
,decorative corsage fastened on the handles,white ribbon and purple themed floral corsages,floral wreaths,flower in abundance,decorative figurine and fabrics and roses started arriving one by one until finally the limousine ferrying the bride arrived. The church was filled up to capacity.
The aisle was decorated by adding modest floral arrangements, lanterns, homemade ornaments and candles of arctic blue and white in colour. The aisle runner was a stretched arctic blue carpet laid on the floor stretching to the aisle from the door with blue flower petals,some white and blue balloons and ribbons sprinkled on it. The arbor- reserved for outdoor ceremonies was made of climbing plants with flowers and pampas grass hang on them.
A ceremony signage of a wedding photoshoot of Hu Le Qi and Yan Xinyi was displayed outside the church door. The chairs were decorated with some flowers hang behind them. Some florals were hanged hanged using pampas grass arrangements creating a large yet airy display. Some few whimsical wall hangings were hanged on the walls of the church for an artistic touch. Large and luxurious pampas grass arrangements adorning a simple A-frame structure created a stunning altar for the wedding . Height and drama was added to the reception tables with a few sprigs of pampas grass in tall vases placed alongside green garlands running down the centre of the table.
The contrast of geometric patterns with fluffy pampas grass plumes worked well for the stylish wedding backdrop.
Stems of pampas grass were used to decorate the wedding cake. Sugar flowers and a few plumes made the perfect pairing.
Tall vases filled with big bunches of pampas grass stems created dramatic focal points throughout the event space. They acted as a soft backdrop to a modern metallic frame seating chart and a decorative accent to the lounge area. Board and Vellum invitation cards were specially used.
The flower girls in pure white tea length dresses started arriving walking down the aisle runner holdings arctic blue and white arm shelf bouquets going down to the front seats specially reserved for them. Followed by the ring bearers - a girl in a white tea length dress with an artic blue butterfly ribbon on the back and glittery white stilettos heels and the boy in a slim white suit with a blue boutonniere and an artic blue bow tie and shiny black loafers. The bridesmaids wore arctic blue halter fitted mermaid evening dress with Ballerina bouquet and white d'orsay high pumps while the best men had slim white suits with blue boutonnieres and an artic blue bow ties and shiny black loafers. Classical music was being played by an orchestra under an umbrella. It sounded so soothing.
Then everyone saw Zhao Han's daughter sprinkling the last pink rose petals on the aisle, then sitting down together with the others on the front bench.
To the left of me were rows of cars glittering in the sun. A stretched Lincoln stood alone, decked out in ribbons and twisted coils of streamers, ready to whisk the groom and bride away. 'Just Married' was painted across the dark rear window. As everyone sat there, thought to themselves how perfect and lovely everything was. The smell of fresh cut flowers filled the air.
The music stopped, and all heads turned to face the far end of the walk. The opening to the bridal chorus started to play. Down the isle Yan Xinyi came. Everyone could not believe how beautiful she was.
She wore a pure white tiered wedding gown with rhinestones and pearl beads on the her gown and embroidery on her bodice,white d'orsay high pumps and held round bouquet containing blue peonies,white roses,blue butterfly ranunclus and other types of flowers and she also wore a spotless white two-tier veil, with a matching crystal head-piece that shone brightly like pieces of glass exposed to direct sunlight.
She had a sculpted figure which was twine-thin. Her waist was tapered and she had a burnished complexion. A pair of arched eyebrows looked down on sweeping eyelashes. Her delicate ears framed a button nose. A set of dazzling, angel-white teeth gleamed as she blew gently on her artic blue fingernails. It was a pleasure to see her flowing, moon shadow-black hair under the veil. Her enticing, constellation-blue eyes gazed at me over her puffy, heart shaped lips which had a peach pink colour dabbed onto them. She had a bouncy personality and a sugary voice, which everyone adored. Not content to be just another drone.
With her best friend - Qiu Yingyue as the maid of honor,she wore a strapless white wedding gown with embroidery on her bodice. Rhinestones and pearl beads were sewn on her gown. She also wore a bandeu veil, with a matching crystal necklace. She held a French rose silk bouquet walking behind her,her gown was sweeping the petals on the veil.
Her dad held her left arm in a classic midnight blue suit with a red boutonniere and a midnight blue tie cascading on his spotless white shirt and shiny black loafers while her mom held her right hand in a spotless white flounced skirt with a spotless white blouse and coat and crystal white block heels and smiled at her as they reached the bottom step filled with petals. There awaiting her was the pastor with grey hair and her husband-to-be. Hu Ke Qi was stunning. He wore a artic blue, single-breasted, satin tuxedo with a white-wing collar shirt.
He had an under cut and scythe-shaped eyebrows. His Roman nose and half-dome cheekbones sat above an oaken jaw. His wrestler's shoulders were part of his burly physique. He walked with a tiger like tread and his nomad-blue eyes twinkled. They were Saturn round and were a-flush with triumph after his job promotion. His derring-do personality and bottled thunder voice and were a big part of his ambitious character.
The music faded, and the clergyman stepped up to the microphone, Bible in hand. He smiled at the assembly.
"Welcome family and friends. We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the marriage of Hu Le Qi and Yan Xinyi. This is not the beginning of a new relationship but an acknowledgment of the next chapter in their lives together. Hu Le Qi and Yan Xinyi have spent years getting to know each other, and we now bear witness to what their relationship has become. Today, they will affirm this bond formally and publicly." The marriage offociant stood on the isle and welcomed all the guests.
'Why are you lying,since when did Hu Le Qi and I spend years getting to know each other when I was forced to marry him the minute I got back from Japan.' Yan Xinyi wondered.
"Hu Le Qi and Yan Xinyi will mark their transition as a couple not only by celebrating the love between themselves, but by also celebrating the love between all of us—including the love of their parents, siblings, extended family, and best friends. Without that love, today would be far less joyous." He concluded. The sound carried well from the small speakers to either side of the podium. The pastor placed the Bible down before him. "Let us begin by offering thanks to the Lord on this wonderful day." They all bowed their heads and he prayed out a loud.
After the prayer was over, the preacher led them through their vows,he said,to Hu Le Qi
"Do you Hu Le Qi take Yan Xinyi to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and not so good times, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?"
He had a voice like bottled thunder, a measure of his vitality which said,"I do."
The preacher smiled amiably and turned to Yan Xinyi and said,
"Do you Yan Xinyi take Hu Le Qi to be your lawfully wedded husband? To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and not so good times, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?"
Yan Xinyi said in her sugary voice loud and clear, "I do."
The preacher then continued while facing Hu Le Qi ,"Hu Le Qi, place the ring on Yan Xinyi's ring finger and repeat after me. Yan Xinyi, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love with the pledge: to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever." As the preacher paused,An adorable little boy who had sat down dressed in a slim white suit with a blue boutonniere and an artic blue bow tie and shiny black loafers handed Hu Le Qi a glittering radiant ring with a huge diamond sparkling in the sun.
Hu Le Qi said as the microphone was placed near his mouth by one of the best men.
"Yan Xinyi, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love with the pledge: to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever." He said and afterwards slipped it on Yan Xinyi's long and slender finger with artic blue nail polish and a spotless white fingerless bridal glove with rhinestones and pearls sewn on it.
And the preacher turned to Yan Xinyi,he smiled broadly and said, "And now...Yan Xinyi, place the ring on Hu Le Qi's ring finger and repeat after me. Hu Le Qi, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love with the pledge: to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever." As he concluded,he watched her take his ring from a small girl dressed in a white tea length dress with an artic blue butterfly ribbon on the back and glittery white stilettos heels.
Yan Xinyi said as the microphone was placed near her mouth which was dabbed onto a light peach pink colour by one of the flower girls.
"Hu Le Qi, I give you this ring as a symbol of my love with the pledge: to love you today, tomorrow, always, and forever." Afterwards,she placed the ring on Hu Le
Qi 's long and slender fingers.
"Before these witnesses, you have pledged to be joined in marriage. You have now sealed this pledge with your wedding rings. By the authority vested in me by the great State of China, I now pronounce you married! You may now kiss your bride." He did so, placing his hands on her shoulders. The pastor held up his hands, bringing the crowd to their feet as they applauded thunderously and cheers rent the air.
He lifted the veil and his chin started to tilt towards hers. His lips parted and she kissed him back, the kiss was tender and soon the lips parted leaving a peach pinkish imprint on Hu Le Qi's lips,Yan Xinyi 's lips tasted strawberry sweet when he had kissed her.
Hu Le Qi and Yan Xinyi left the artic blue gazebo, arms linked, with identical smiles on their faces with confetti and petals filling the air.
It was time to take pictures.
First:
The bride took pictures with her parents and the groom with his.
Second:
The bride took pictures with her In-laws and the groom did the same.
Third:
The bride and the groom took pictures together.
Fourth:
The whole family took pictures together.
Fifth:
The groom took pictures with the bestmen and the bride with the brides maid.
Sixth:
The bride took pictures with the children there and the groom did the same.
There was a muffled poping sound to the left and the lighting of a camera flash exploded in their eyes,as the woman beside Hu Le Qi pressed his arm. A dozen of photographers lept foward to record their 'happiness',to put on front pages around the world.
The best man, maid of honor, and the groomsmen and bridesmaids followed suit, falling in behind them as they swayed their hips and gowns sweeping the petals. They stopped near the end of the walk, forming the start of the receiving line. The family and guests filed down, pausing for hugs and kisses and congratulating the young couple. Yan Xinyi then turned around and almost threw her round bouquet containing blue peonies,white roses,blue butterfly ranunclus and other types of flowers behind her. The women behind her ran and found nothing,then she laughed but the second time she threw it into the open air.
The women collided with each other as they tried to catch it and a cheer lent the air as a young lady celebrated her victory. Then and Yan Xinyi ran to the Lincoln that waited for them. Both of their faces were blushed. They were so quick to get away. Hu Le Qi tried not to step on Yan Xinyi's long white train that dragged the ground as they ran. As they reached the decorated Lincoln, Hu Le Qi jumped in the driver's seat and Yan Xinyi in the passenger's seat. Hu Le Qi took off as if he was in the Indy 500, ready to win a race. The ribbons and twisted coils and streamers whisked in the wind behind them. The wedding had turned out delightful.
It was time to go to the reception, Yan Xinyi had chosen Simple cake cutting.
They had chosen a beautiful back garden. It had plenty of space for the kids to play games along with a stunning orchard which they used for their photos. Upon arrival guests enjoyed champagne and canapés. A marquee set-up was perfect .
Yan Xinyi had planned the menu herself. There was turkey, roast beef,stew, rice, chicken,steak, mashed potatoes, and an assortment of sauces. For drinks there was champagne, soda,sundaes,sparkling water,wine, and water. There was an ice cream bar with numerous flavors since Qui Yingyue had suggested it. And of course there was the giant wedding cake with arctic blue cream and a figure of cream of a couple on top. The couple cut it in harmony and shared amongst the guests after feeding their parents. The guests sat under white tents with arctic blue ribbons which had tables with silky satin whitetablecloths which had lace artic blue runners.
For dessert was cherry Sundaes,oreo ice cream,cookies,milkshakes,fruit salads,marshmallows and s'mores and cakes.
Ting Xin Yan spotted a bowl of jelly beans and discreetly put dipped her hands into the bowl and pulled out a handful. She picked up a brown one that looked like toffee and nearly spit it out. Alas, Earwax, She thought.
After everyone had eaten their fill, the chairs and tables were moved out. Someone started the music. Qin Yingyue had gone out of her way and chose the latest pop songs with some slow ones in between. The bride danced so much she was exhausted when it was all.
[In the Yan mansion:]
Nested in the woodland,as humble as any rock face in these parts,was a mansion. It's windows were as shy eyes,large to welcome any rays of sun. The rock wall belonged right where it was,as if perchance it had grown up right from that hallowed ground.
There were fountains outside sprinkling water in the orchard planted next to the gate. There was a huge car park and a small gazebo for resting as well as a small playground which was meant for Yan Xinyi when they were still kids. The house had many lavish amenities to provide maximum luxury like an infinity pool,a gym,a sitting plazas and walking tracks. To the back was a lake. The lake was glimmering in the callow light of dawn. Local legend had it that a giant hand had scooped out a gash of rock aeons ago. Then a great heap of argent-silver was moulded and poured into it, hemmed in by precipitous hills.
A broad span of Tuscany-blue sky was slashed above it, making it appear like nature's amphitheatre. The hollowness of the neighbourhood magnified all sounds, from burbling streams to the bumble of bees. The visage of the lake was veneer-clear and tranquil, flanked by an avenue of cedar trees. There was feng-shui perfection to the scene, while the water was gilded with moonlight-pale lilies. Plip-plopping fish caused concentric rings to puff out and disappear as the air hummed all around them.
A phalanx of flies was patrolling the water's edge, called into service by the heaven-filtering light. This location was chosen by Yue Lan Fen for their retirement ages,she preferred to fish by the lake and go out hiking or camping in the woods nearby. Also because the water was her source of calmness whenever she was angry.
They had painted a light gold color on the walls of their living room and a crystal white color on the ceiling perfectly matching with the glittering hanged chandelier that shimmered in daylight. The golden tint offers a luxurious and comfortable feeling since it matches well with the glittering apparatus around the home - chandelier.
Since the living room is very big, they had to plan wisely before furnishing it. They also wanted it to look warm and to accommodate their guests who visit them once in a while. Bubbled 2 curved sofas which were white in colour with cushions of gold while some white with golden stripes around the room with a glass top console tables with some fruits in a bowl on top. An exciting zest of yellow on a geometric cushion reflected on a two tone vase whilst a single pink flower is the flower of choice relating to the largest piece of furniture in the room. The shape of it's petals could be found on the cushions design contributing to the even proportion of pink eye.
A golden book shelf which was close to the tabletop wine rack containing a small bar for serving yourself, 52-inch television,white and gold curtains hanging over the windows drawn aside, and a glass top console table with fruits in a bowl on top and a simple white lamp on it.
The shelves in their living room holded a number of books and magazines. The brackets look like a small library and, one can get books on different topics. They also had novels from mainly bestselling authors, which their friends borrow from time to time. They also exchange my stories with theirs. They also make sure to bought newspaper sdaily to keep up with current affairs.
The huge plasma television is silver in color. This is where the family catch up on current state affairs. They also watch soap operas especially from our favorite television stations. The stand that holds the television is designed with a hard glass and has small shelves where they place their DVD player,calendar,notebooks and a family photo placed on it. There are maids who are hieed to keep the house tidy and full of food every day. This made their living room to be particularly lively and welcoming. They had lamps on the walls whose light thrown from both sides luminated the room and their placement created an amazing diamond shape and a golden wall clock c
hanged and black granite stairs leading to the upper floor and a spiraling chandelier for lighting the staircase.
Different sized mirrors were arranged in an abstract manner, creating a funky and trendy vibe highlighting just how much character this design possess. Small amounts of negative space between each mirror, delivered a unique experience on the walls.
Now the decision where to start, so Yan Xinyi bit into the fresh crisp roll and tasted its warm soft texture and the melting butter from the blue ceramic bowl in front of her.
"Why are you so stubborn? You just marred into the most wealthy family in the country Xinyi yet it's a contract marriage. This is every girls dream out there you know?" Her mother questioned her. She was sitted in her parents house in front of them.
"I...I am still not ripe for marriage. Mother you married father at twenty three years, I am still twenty one and father you married mother at twenty five years,I am still twenty one. Why don't I follow the slogan like father like daughter and marry at twenty five or like mother like daughter and marry at twenty three?" She replied.
"Can you stop this nonsense right now,you must get married at an early age!"
"No way! I still want more days of courtship. To get to know Hu le Qi more. The courtship period takes one to three years. Don't you think I am right mom?"
"More days of courtship? Which drug did you inhale today? Bhang or tobacco tell me?"
"I know you don't understand what I am trying to say here. If Hu Le Qi a bad guy,he'll definitely show his true colours. You can never put up a show forever can you? And if maybe he has another girl. She'll come up to me. Don't you think so?"
"It makes a lot of sense. You can just pretend outside that you are married but inside you are continuing with your courtship period?" Her father joined in.
After he finished his statement. Yue Lan Fen - his wife glared at him warning that if he spoke amother word he'd be dead meat.
"How can it be. I was wise from my birth. Just like both my parents."
Now this made it more difficult for her parents to understand her.
"Okay. You'll get more days of courtship. While in the Hu mansion while working in the Hu group." Her mother said with finality as she left the room.
"Dad. Don't you think mother is crazy? How can an unmarried couple live together?" She said as she turned to her father who was reading a newspaper and didn't seem to mind her.
"You also know pretty well that if I dare to defend you my ears will be at sake."
"Do you treasure your ears or your daughter?"
Then a servant came in while wearing a black flat collared knee high dress with white collars and a white apron with a pair of black ballerina slippers with hair on a high bun and a white hair band and said,"Excuse me but breakfast is ready." After which they all met at the dining room.
Yue Lan Fen usually chose specific servants as she believed that some are bad people.
