Thale couldn't help but feel confused and bewildered as the little girl's words hit him. He had never encountered someone like her before, and he couldn't quite understand her strange sense of humour.
"Excuse me, but what do you mean by 'fetch'?" Thale asked, trying to make sense of the situation.
"Oh, nothing much," the little girl giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "I just wanted to see if you would obey me like a little puppy. It's quite amusing, don't you think?"
Thale couldn't help but roll his eyes at the girl's antics. He had a feeling that she was playing with him, and he didn't quite appreciate it.
"Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a dog," Thale retorted, his tone serious. "I don't take orders from anyone, especially not from a little girl."
The little girl's laughter subsided, and she looked at Thale with a hint of surprise. It seemed that she hadn't expected him to stand up for himself.
