Thale gets smashed through a few buildings and feels himself getting weaker. Thale quickly turns and uses his Lightning Flash Step to escape, leaving behind a trail of shattered walls and debris. He can feel the pirate captain's Qi getting closer and closer, but he pushes himself to run faster. His heart is pounding in his chest and his lungs feel like they're on fire, but he can't stop now. He has to get as much distance between himself and the pirate captain as possible. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, Thale collapses in an alleyway, panting heavily. He looks back and sees the pirate captain standing a few meters away, panting just as heavily as Thale is. They stare at each other for a moment, then the pirate captain speaks.
"You're pretty strong for a kid," he says, "but you're still no match for me. If you want to live, you'll stay out of my way."
