Finally, on the 5th week after Sasuke started training, Ryu and Anko finally moved to a new house on the new street.
Ryu moved everything and looked at their new home with a happy smile.
Yamato wiped his sweat and smiled on the side.
It was very tough to build.
Although, Ryu showed everyone a path with Ninjutsu that they never thought about.
Creating building materials with Ninjutsu and creating houses and infrastructure.
The current Konoha was like a well oiled machine, buildings were being demolished and rebuilt by Konoha ninja.
One after the other, there was even a construction team!
Ryu also introduced various team sports for the children to play.
They were all in 3v3 format as well to emulate Genin teams.
Basketball
Soccer
Lacrosse
Baseball
Unfortunately, it wasn't winter and nobody had an Ice Blood Limit so Ryu had to wait to play Hockey.
It was truly a tragedy…
Various parks and playgrounds had fields for these various sports.
Obviously the parks came from Yamato, who had been practicing the Blood Surging Art religiously. He made considerable progress in this regard. He was able to make some trees instead of just wood now.
Though it took an immense amount of chakra.
Compared to Sasuke, who was blocked by the Magekyou Barrier, his improvement was more noticeable.
Even Ryu had been practicing the Blood Surging Art with little progress. He theorized that every step after 3 Tomoe was like a canyon, with Mangekyou, Eternal Mangekyou, and Rinnegan being huge gigantic barriers.
But Ryu believed in Sasuke's talent. He knew that he could achieve great things.
Maybe it was his knowledge of the future or his fatherly feelings but watching Sasuke train so hard brought Ryu an immense feeling of pride.
He even cried in secret, praising Sasuke to the sky in front of Anko, who smiled at him. Looking at him with a strange emotion.
Nobody knew when it happened but they all accepted Ryu as Hokage in their hearts.
Just walking around on the streets proved that they were much happier!
The reason was that Ryu didn't keep anything from them, notifying them of every change whether it was a secret or not. He was completely transparent.
Some people would say that he wasn't suitable for Hokage because of this reason and they would be correct.
Though they never denied one thing, Ryu tried his absolute best.
Recruiting Civilians to major departments, even establishing the Konoha Police force again and recruiting some civilians to patrol around, notifying Ninja of their findings.
It worked incredibly well with only a few hiccups.
A few people abused the power and were dealt with extremely quickly and ruthlessly.
As Ryu said, "Anyone who threatens their fellow Konoha resident is not a resident of Konoha!"
The people were emotional.
Even the Jonin were stunned by the change. They barely recognized the Konoha they grew up in.
Maybe it was the difference between good and bad leadership, but the entirety of Konoha was much more peaceful and harmonious.
You could even see Hyuga clansmen walking around with normal people, talking and laughing.
As for the Uchiha prejudice, what was that?
They completely forgot about it.
Some people even lamented that the Uchiha clan was gone. After reading about the True History several kids ran around saying "Do you want to dance too?" and "I, Madara, want to call you the strongest!"
But this didn't mean the God of Shinobi was slighted, actually many people idolized these two to the skies!
The Second Hokage was a little less liked and many people felt pity for Izuna.
At any rate, the village was like a rocket, shooting into progression.
Ryu, Anko, and Sasuke moved into the new home and slowly, a week passed by…
Asuma was walking on the road and sighed with a strange face. Although he hated Ryu to the core for what he did, he admitted that he definitely made Konoha better.
But he would never admit it to Ryu's face, nor would he admit that his father was a bastard!
He still firmly supported his father, not wanting to believe the book that Ryu wrote was true.
Although deep inside his heart he knew it was completely possible and most likely true…
For this reason, some of his previous friends didn't associate with him anymore.
However, Kurenai was still with him. Which lifted his spirits.
He suddenly saw Konohamaru running by.
He grabbed his scarf and said "Hey, kid. Where you going?" Konohamaru looked at Asuma and made a stinky face, saying "Shut up, you dirty uncle! I'm on my way to see Naruto!"
Asuma was startled, asking "Naruto's back?" Konohamaru waved his arms and explained "He brought back Tsunade-sama and Jiraiya-sama came with him! I have to challenge him to be Hokage!"
Asuma pursed his lips and asked him strangely "You want to be Hokage? Why? Don't you know what they think of our Sarutobi clan?"
Speaking of this, Konohamaru waved his fist fiercely, shouting "I don't care! No matter what grandpa did, I'm not him! I'm going to show everyone that our Sarutobi clan isn't only Gramps! I'm going to be Hokage and prove it to everyone!"
He shook with a strange emotion, shouting "If Naruto can be recognized by the village then… then so can I! You'll see, you old fart! I'll redeem our clan's name!" as he shook the dumbfounded Asuma off, running off into the distance.
Two little brats chased after him, shouting "Konohamaru! Wait for us!"
Asuma watched him go in a daze before sighing and looking at the Hokage building "Even kids can see clearer than me…" he rubbed his neck and sighed sadly, "I'm getting old…"
He turned his gaze and looked at Hiruzen's face in the Hokage Rock before sighing again and walking away.
That's right!
After thinking about it, Ryu didn't demolish Hiruzen's face from the Hokage Rock.
Although he hated that bastard, he didn't go too far.
As for Asuma and Konohamaru…
Ryu didn't like Asuma too much, but he thought Konohamaru was cute and innocent.
Unfortunately, he was the only one.
Of course, Ryu wasn't like Hiruzen, killing whoever he didn't like.
After taking over as Temporary Hokage, his thinking changed slightly and he regretted being so rash 2 months ago.
He often sighed about this.
He felt he went a bit too far during the blood river massacre…
Hiruzen, Danzo, and the two elders were guilty, not the rest of the clan.
But what's done is done.
Ryu will carry that sin to the grave, but it wouldn't interfere with Konoha's progress. Even if he didn't like Asuma, he would never kill him. It was about the strength of the village.
A top class Jonin dying for no reason, what's the difference between him and Hiruzen then?
Plus, Ryu wasn't scared of Asuma's revenge. Nor was he attached to the position of Hokage.
If he was Hokage, he would do his best, if he wasn't then forget it.
It wasn't his problem.
He swore on Minato's grave that he would make Konoha prosper and that's exactly what he was trying to do.
However, whenever he saw the happy smiles walking by, he felt a strange sadness.
Sakumo, Minato, and Kushina wouldn't be able to see this scene.
How sad was that…
