Chapter 1 - The beginning (Volume 0)

"My Lord," With hurried footsteps, he dashed to block the king's way, "Please wait!" And eventually, he blocked his way. "Do not let your presence be stained by filth!" he demanded, a note of concern in his voice. "I beg you, this is no way to find her." He pled with eyes widened.

"Step out of my way." The king readied to slap him, his right hand located near his left shoulder.

"But, my Lord..." The eyes of disbelief fell to him, his blockage was about to be his end.

"I shall not ask twice. Step. Away." The king yelled, a tone of impatience was voiced. "Now!" his glare instill fear to his system.

No answer, the man who blocked his path was no longer.

In the mystical realm of Exliya, governed by the twelve deities of Sakkhára, each controlling the corners of the world. The king of these divine beings descended upon the mortal plane. All eyes were drawn to the intense luminescence of his presence, so radiant than the sun itself forced them to shield their faces with their hands.

The king then proposed a quest.

Whoever could please him and complete the mission would be handsomely rewarded, those rewards were even more valuable than any gold, even could rival the price of the whole world.

A villager ventured to inquire with a nervous tone, "Who are you seeking?"

"I am in search of my beloved. Have you seen her, or do you know of her? She goes by the name..." The king's voice trailed off.

"Regrettably, we don't know, sir," one villager confessed, on behalf of all villagers, shrugging in ignorance of the lady's identity.

"Then you serve no purpose to me." With a snap of his fingers, the king summoned a brilliant light that incinerated the villagers whole, reducing them to nothingness, not even atoms remained. Their houses, the children, the women, the elders, all their belongings wiped out from existence.

"This is the final straw! I am done tolerating her whims! When I find her... She. Will. Pay!" The king's aura surged in his frustration over his wife's sudden disappearance, sending shockwaves throughout the cosmos.

The eighteen angels flanking him recoiled in fear, the palpable wrath of their king leaving them trembling and sweating profusely. They fell to their knees in deference.

"My lord, we urge you to compose yourself. We lack any leads regarding your consort's whereabouts, but we will redouble our efforts in the search," an advisor pleaded, kneeling before the irate king who slowly losing every sense of rationality in him.

His voice roared like raging storms, "FIND HER!" The desperation in the king's voice was emphasized by the narrowing of his eyes.

Despite his formidable powers, the king found himself at a loss, caught off guard by the extent of his wife's cunning, even escaping the eyes of a king of the gods.

Meanwhile, in a place far, far away...

An elderly woman sat tranquilly in a boat, fishing. Sensing a huge disturbance that caused the fish to scatter, she mused, 'Hmm, has it all begun already like you said it would?'

Suddenly, her attention was drawn to a small basket floating nearby. Inside was a wailing infant. With a mix of concern and curiosity, the old lady quickly retrieved the baby and began to soothe him. He was a boy.

"Mika Ozolyne...?" She read the peculiar name on a tag attached to the baby, presumably given by his mother.

As the baby met the old woman's gaze, his crying ceased, and he burst into a joyful giggle.

"Poor thing, you must've been abandoned... or lost... It's alright, I'm here now," she murmured, feeling a wave of sympathy for the child who had been left behind. With a kind smile, she decided to take the boy in, grateful for the company he would provide.

"Great sage, everything is shaking! It feels like the world is breaking apart!" A man bolted towards the grand sage who sat regally on an oversized throne.

The great Sage advised soothingly, "Calm down... It is as the prophecy has foretold..."

"She has been reborn once again to save us all."

"The tremor... it's potent... Is this the event as you predicted, old friend?" A woman standing close to an imposing statue of a heroine, who appeared to have been a savior of her or perhaps an entire nation, voiced her concern.

"Aris! What has transpiring? It feels like the world is on the brink of collapse!" A female dragon felt the extreme vibrations as if the world was being torn asunder.

"Maintain your composure, Melfa," Aris, the male dragon, replied with an air of nonchalance, as if he had foreseen this occurrence.

The great dragon, Aris, spoke in his heart, 'I trust her words were true... This is your sign, isn't it?'

Almost the whole world seemed to rely on one woman that they etched in their minds. The mysterious woman whom they trusted that she had predicted all of these events.

The question: "Who is she?".
