Chapter 1 - Issue #1

In a house in the neighborhoods of Queen, a couple could be seen arguing late at night

"How many times am I going to have to tell you, you're not going to come back and points". Said a woman in her 30s, she was a woman with brown hair and brown eyes, about 1.68 cm tall

"Anna, understand, I can't sit still with everything that's going on and you know it." A man spoke who did not appear to be much older than the woman, he was of average height, 1.75 cm, but of a robust complexion, with a belly that showed a little

"Arthur, I know things are bad, but you promised me that this was going to be your last mission, stop now, you've already sacrificed enough for this damn country." the woman started crying while saying this

"I know, I know I promised you, but I can't stop, when I can't do something" the man approached the woman and gave her a hug while crying

"Mommy, Daddy" suddenly said a boy who was coming down the stairs

The two adults were surprised by the sudden arrival of their son, the woman turned around to wipe away the tears that fell from her eyes so as not to scare the child.

"Nothing champion, just your mom and I were talking about some things, what are you doing awake?" the man said as he approached his son and carried him in his arms

"I could not sleep". the boy said while being carried by his father

The woman turned around when the tears had already dried "Come my little Arthur, you have to sleep, there's school tomorrow."

The woman picked up her son from her husband's arms and began to go up the stairs, but not before turning around and looking at her husband. The man just looked at her and smiled at her before starting to climb after them.

The next day in the afternoon, outside the house the mother and son duo could be seen looking at their father and husband in front of them, dressed in a military uniform with a bag on his shoulder.

"Promise me, soldier, promise me that you will fulfill the mission of taking care of your mother while I'm gone." The man said to the boy as he looked down at him, his back straight, as if he were speaking to any foot soldier in the army.

"Yes sir". said the child as he stood up as straight as possible, as his father had taught him the woman said nothing as she watched from the side

"Very good soldier." said the man as he relaxed his back a bit, picked up the boy, kissed him on the cheek and put him back on the ground

"I promise I'll be back" the man said to the woman, the woman didn't say anything, she just walked over, gave her a kiss and walked away holding her son's hand, returning to the house

"Bye dad, come back soon." It was the last thing the boy said to his father.
