I felt Vicki pop up randomly but it's like I just wouldn't move. When she laid her arm across me I took the opportunity to to pull her closer to at least try to comfort my wife... and it shouldn't be this hard! I feel like I'm anchored down in the dark empty feeling with all her hurt and angry words surrounding me. She really cut deep "you mean I fucked your ex and I'm sure you know it was good too..." then Eva saying "mutual attraction" shit was running on loops in my mind. I woke up an Vicki wasn't laying beside me at all. "V" I called out to see where she might be but got no response. I reached for my phone when she came to the doorway "yes" she responded solemnly. I chuckled a bit thinking about just how proper an nerdy she typically is. It's so cute... I cleared my throat "I was just looking for you was all... but we do have to talk" Vicki walked I to the bedroom an sat on the bed with me. "You wanna know how... right? ...Why" she let her head drop then took a deep breath.
"Yea... I do... I need to know your side in all this. I have to understand" I turned to face her "I'm not here to nor am I in the position to judge you.. I really... She took in another breath "I'm not even sure where it begin really... I just started to find her attractive.. I guess you could say it was the day of her first shoot... then I started to notice she smelled like you... now I understand why I became more attracted to her. My phone blinked an I saw I had a voicemail. When I checked to see who it was my face fell flat. "Why the fuck does she keep calling" I prepared myself to listen to the message Victoria left.
"I know my original reaction was volatile.. but I really just want to talk and actually hear you out this time... just let me know" I rolled my eyes as I dialed her back. It rang 3 times then she picked up "hee?...hello" I cleared my throat before responding "we can meet at my house if you'd like I'm picking my daughter up from my mothers then coming right back here" I rushed out.
"What time would you like me to be there" Victoria replied. "Come around 5, if that works" she agreed and we hung up. I looked round at my home with the biggest smile on my face... for the first time in Years I saw peace alone in my home. I just hope she's not coming here on no bullshit!
I looked at my watch and it was 3:30pm. I got up an grabbed my phone to call my mother and tell her I was on my way, I asked if she needed anything at all. She said no so I hung up an made my way.
Asiah was over the moon to see me, which made me smile. "Hi baby .. mommy missed you too" I said as I loaded her cheek up with kisses. Once we made it home I got Asiah settled in her room, playing. I checked the time and it was 4:45. I decided that maybe we should keep this energy outside so I set up the patio furniture an got some water bottles for us. I was just sitting down to roll when Victoria pulled up in the driveway. I sat in the chair an put my rolling tray on the little table.

The Dj was bumpin YG's Pop It and I was freshening up in the back before my next dance. My head was all over the place cause David dumbass just disappeared at the sound of a pregnancy... "I'm sorry I took up so much of your time" she said as she wiped under each eye. "I am not holding any grudges and I apologize for my reaction at the reception. We have 3 shoots coming up at they all want to work with you. Chase will contact you with more details" she turned to leave.
