Devlin turned around, leaning on the car door, and looked at Nine Spirits, "A duel between experts, yet not as entertaining as if we were the ones fighting."
He took out a box of cigarettes and passed it over, "Want one?"
"Thank you, I don't smoke."
Nine Spirits shook her head in refusal, also turning away to avoid the blinding light.
"I thought a Grandmaster duel would be a sight to behold."
She agreed with Devlin's idea, "But with such speed, we can only see afterimages. When the swords clash, we can't even keep our eyes open."
The cold gleam made even the setting sun seem dim in comparison.
If an ordinary person were to stare directly, they would be blinded.
Even Devlin and Nine Spirits could only turn away, listening to the crisp and clear sounds.
The sound was too fast!
The continuous clashing of blades merged those sounds together.
