"Santiago Carmichael, seeing as we are neighbors, I'm giving you three days to consider," said a young man in a gray suit as he walked over and stepped on the chair beside Santiago.
"But you, it seems, don't cherish that!"
"Cedric Abernathy! You were a kid from this very place. Now that you're with Huxley Reed, have you forgotten who you are?"
Santiago stood up, glaring at Cedric: "Every neighbor around here watched you grow up. Now that you've come into your own, is this how you repay your hometown?"
Cedric grew up in the slums, orphaned after his parents died.
But the locals took good care of him, not only providing for his living but also pooling money to send him to school.
Yet Cedric, at a young age, got involved in bad company instead of his studies, hanging out with gangs all day, eventually getting expelled from high school.
But life is unpredictable.
