A group of people rushed into the Five-state International Building, and as soon as they entered the door, they saw Jake Carmichael being supported by a woman, looking like he had been hurt.
"Mr. Flower, if you had come any later, I would have been beaten to death!"
Upon seeing Mr. Flower arrive with backup, Jake Carmichael instantly gained some confidence.
"My god! Mr. Carmichael, how did you get beaten up like this?"
Mr. Flower stepped in front of Jake Carmichael and was genuinely shocked.
The usually impressive Boss Carmichael was now covered in blood, with one eye swollen shut.
Even his shirt was torn.
"Them!"
Clutching his face, and both ashamed and angry, Jake Carmichael pointed at Julius Reed: "This little bastard has some moves; I couldn't beat him. And that little chick next to him even dared to slap me!"
Although somewhat humiliated, at least his reinforcements had arrived.
