(In the underworld, a deformed man could be seen in a cage, he had no teeth, was missing his fingers, you could see his internal organs barely working trough the gap on his chest, his feet were twisted at a 180 degree angle, overall, he looked miserable.)
"I'm satisfied for now, remember to never cause us problems again, now that you know the consequences I expect you to be less problematic." (The orange demon said before releasing the man.)
The man tried to get up but it looked impossible for him, after the orange demon saw him struggle with the endeavor, he grabbed the head of the man before crushing it.
"Splash!" (Brain matter flew everywhere.)
The demon snickered before getting out of the cage. Some time passed and the brain matter along with the whole body of the man started to heal, it looked like his body parts were rewinding to their original position.
"Ahhhh! Huff, huff, huff, I'm going to kill that bastard for torturing me and killing me four damn times!" (Zeren screamed in anger.)
"Haaah, those are just useless thoughts, how can I kill someone that's many times stronger than me? If the purple demon killed me in the blink of an eye then what are the chances that he couldn't do better?"
"I'll think about it later, now that I know that if I try to escape they'll torture me I will think of an escape plan, after all, I don't have the thought of staying here for all of my life." (Zeren said before going towards the mines.)
"Wait a second can't I just escape? There's really no protection here unless a demon locates me. Right now I can just go away and no one will notice, right?" (Zeren said before slowly walking towards the right of the mine.)
Zeren suddenly stopped walking, he felt a cold rope like feeling on his neck. Feeling the hand of death on his neck, he stopped walking out of fear and backtracked his steps, he immediately felt better.
'You know what, I'll leave escaping for later, for now I'm just going to get a hang of working in the mines.' (Zeren thought.)
He entered the mine and after walking for what seemed a few minutes he saw a huge cave with all sorts of people and tools, there was a huge hole in the middle and pulleys that went down, surrounding the hole was a circle that people and demons were passing. Suddenly Zeren was snapped out of his thoughts by a yell.
"Hey you! Go to work, what are you doing! Quickly get your pickaxe and find us some vliguor." (A hideous demon with three legs commanded.)
"Yes sir!" (Zeren shouted out of instinct while grabbing a random pickaxe on the floor and went towards the stone circle where all the people were.)
'What do I do now? I guess I'll just follow what the humans are doing.'
Zeren headed toward where all the people were located and started copying what they were doing. He started smashing the rocks with his pickaxe while trying to figure out the purpose of his doing.
"Hey you, you move like a novice, do you even know what you're doing?" (A young man with hair that reached his knees said.)
"Not really, what are we doing exactly?" (Zeren asked.)
"Haah, I'm impressed that you managed to evade the slave dealers when you fell from the pit. My name's Meyn, nice to meet you, right now we're looking for vliguor, a type of mineral that demons love." (Meyn told with a sigh.)
"Thanks for the information. How does the rock look by the way?"
"It's orange on the edges and overall black."
"I'll keep that in mind." Zeren responded before continuing to smash the rocks."
Zeren was smashing the rocks trying to find the mineral when he felt a big hand touching his shoulder.
You, go to the underground with the new slaves. (A demon with the palm of his hands twice the side of his head said.)
"May I ask where is that place?" (Zeren asked.)
"No, now go before I kill you." (The demon threatened.)
"Yes, sir" (Zeren responded before going on his way to look for the slaves.)
Zeren searched around and eventually found a group of humans beside the hole that were being guided by a yellow demon. After quickly glancing over their direction, he joined the group.
"Listen, we'll go underground to retrieve the mineral glurour. I expect that no one will cause trouble and will follow directions, y'all know the consequences of not doing so, does everyone understand?" (The yellow demon threatened.)
"Yes sir!" (Everyone shouted.)
The next thing that happened was the yellow demon guiding the group down the hole. After what seemed like hours, the pulley finally reached the floor after passing through some more underground caves.
"We will split into groups, group one will go to the left with me and group two will go to the right alone, group two will mine the minerals ahead, let's get going." (The yellow demon said before walking towards the left side.)
"What a bad luck that I have, having to be with the demon is worse than being alone." (Zeren sulked whilst following the demon.)
The yellow demon walked for a while before stopping at a huge clearing filled with minerals.
"This place was recently discovered, take all of the minerals." (The demon commanded while standing at the side.)
'So that's how it is, why would a demon work anyways when the slave can do all of the work for him.' (Zeren thought whilst he walked towards one mineral.)
Zeren started working for hours and it didn't even looked half done. Because of the tedious work his muscles started to fail and cramp up, that's not even mentioning the killer hunger that he had at that moment.
'Damn it, how long will this last?! It seems that the guy wasn't joking when he said that they work us to death.'
Undoubtedly, Zeren was slowly dying as more time passed, but when Zeren was about to pass out he heard a loud roar that caused panic amongst the humans.
"ROAR!!"
The cave trembled as something big was approaching. Zeren turned around and saw a huge eight meaty legged creature with pale white skin and six dark eyes that also had big, razor sharp teeth.
"You've got to be kidding me what the hell is that thing?!" (Zeren shouted with panic filling his voice.)
The next thing that he noticed is how close he and the creature were.
'Shit, I have to run away.' (Zeren thought.)
Zeren ran away from the creature but it was a huge mistake because the creature focused on him and stomped on his body, turning him into a bloody paste and making Zeren die for the seventh time.
