February 29, I was at the back of the house Wheeling myself among the palm trees where my uncle had his fish businesses ongoing.
I had my Bible placed on my labs as I read along and meditated.
"It's been a while I have encountered my angel. Hope I have been truly pardoned of my rebellion." I asked to myself
"Yes servant of the most high. You have been pardoned." I heard him spoke on my right hand side.
I turned, looked at him and smiled.
"Rise to your feet and walk." He told me.
"Ha, you mean I should rise up and walk?" I asked him still sitting in my wheelchair.
"Yes servant of the most high. The Lord has pardoned thy offence and has seen that thy heart is ready for the mission ahead. Rise to your feet and walk.
Being convinced enough, I pushed the wheelchair behind me, adjusted my ankles and that was all. I didn't feel any twist on my waist - no more pains.
Every part of my body was strengthened and I could walk just fine.
Out of excitement, I screamed to express my joy, causing everyone around to be gathered.
They couldn't asked me what was it because all eyes could see that I was walking perfectly - my joy knew no bound.
That night, I prayed fervently telling the Lord that I was fully ready to return to Buruku and have a continuation of the unfinished business awaiting me.
When I was done, I called on my angel because I needed us to talk so I could be fully aware of the mission that was ahead of us.
Like the appearance of a thing when the cloud fades away, I could now see him sitting on the only chair that was in my room.
"Thank you for calling on me. I wish other of my kind would enjoy the fellowship I have with you for failure of their knowledge of angels in their lives." He said.
I searched for words to reply, but nothing came to my mind so I drifted from it and asked him to enlighten me on the journey ahead.
With every detail of it, he broke down the mission into digestible components. This gave me great courage and strength.
"But," he said "there are battles here to fight. Until then before you shall move over."
"Battles, What sort of battles are these?" I asked a bit feeling unsettled.
"Watch out for it David! The battles are as close to you as your nose is.
Remember the vision you had two days ago"
"Immediately he said that, the vision of Mrs Williams and the coven came flashing back into my mind. I imagined why I had to forget it in such a short while.
I needed to ask no further questions. This was because on the day this took place, I was right there in their midst but they took no sight of me.
My man of God, apostle Anee Zion, My mentor and Spiritual dad, Mr OGBONNA among every other person that knew me came around to celebrate my miraculous restoration.
Many also used the occasion to testify of the diverse operations of the spirit of God in their lives via their encounter with me. These were miracles beyond miracles. Indeed the move of God was visible to all.
Days passed, on a faithful Saturday while in the church to pray privately. After many hours consumed in the presence of God, I returned home and saw a lot of missed calls on my phone from different people including Mr OGBONNA and his wife.
Of a sudden I felt worried and died daddies number. It was his wife that picked;
"Hallo David my son, your father is in the hospital, please come. He is demanding to see you." She said tearfully and without waiting hung the call.
With so much worries, I put a shirt on my bones and ran out, boarded a taxi straight way to the hospital.
When I got there I was taking into the ICU where he lay almost dying.
"What happen? Please someone should speak to me." I pleaded with my hands.
"David!" I heard him called me
"David come over ... here," he completed the "here" with his fingers due to the much Strength he was lacking.
I ran to him and knelt beside him about to pray, but he held my hand;
"My son! Do not pray. I have no need to be here again. Last night, the angel of the Lord came to me and told me that our father wants me home by today. I didn't know death was sent to fetch me home via accident.
Look into my eyes." He instructed.
Immediately I looked into his eyes, I saw the face of Ake Agure Kyume as clear as anything could be.
"Please call me the doctor." He said and I ran to fetch the doctor for him.
"Doctor, please give me some seconds to be with the young one and you can come in after that." Daddy OGBONNA said and reluctantly, the doctor agreed to give him that respect.
When the doctor was gone, daddy asked me to shut the door behind me and I did.
Returning back, I needed not to look into his eyes again, daddy OGBONNA had been revealed into my great grandfather, Ake Agure Kyume.
"You are my great grandfather?" I inserted.
"Yes!" He answered with a smile and took my palms into his.
"Now I need not to explain a thing to you. I came to raise you in the path the Lord ordained for you. I came to give you the spirit of the warrior. From today, the gods of Buruku and the nations are dead. You, my son carries the spirit of the gods and you shall walk among me as a god.
The battles ahead of you are more terrible but not long from now, the king of glory shall command his angels to place upon you the mark of touch not. When the mark comes upon thee, you shall be unopposed by any seed of darkness and their stones of dead vulnerable.
[Tears streamed down my eyes as he spoke]
"Go in this thy might my son, and save your generation." Daddy said and I watched his spirit left his body and floated into mine.
When this happened, I felt his hand became lifeless and dropped off.
"No! No!!! Daddy don't leave me..." I cried causing people to rush into the ward.
As I wasas carried to my feet, I saw the host of angels taking him home.
My father, mentor and guide was gone home - gone to join the true ancestors, the likes of father Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Paul and Peter.
I cried that day all through. The memories were too good to be cut short all of a sudden.
Within the time of mourning him, I went on a dry fast for three weeks. I was in the cave far away from home, where I prayed until I no longer looked like I was human.
It was from this point that I gathered my strength and traveled to Buruku for the apostolic commission.
