YOONGI'S POV:
Sometimes I feel like I am trapped. I was told by Bang PD Nim that I would only have to focus on my rapping skills when I joined Big Hit. But day by day, they are making our choreography the hardest. I do not know what I owe to this hardship now.
We finally made our stage name. Namjoon took the good one though. Rap Monster.
One thing I like about that boy is that he never gave up on us. The training was not easy. There were a lot of days when we had to listen to long boring lectures about not being the perfect one. They term this as a part of Idol training.
Hobi is now known as J Hope. I personally feel it's a little strange, but it gives him the right vibe. Our hope is for being the perfect dancer. In short, he is the one who is known as a perfectionist. Sometimes it really pisses me off though. It made me practice for a longer time.
That kid and Jin Hyung would make a great pair though. Jungkook is a cute kid with lots of dreams in his eyes. Jin was one of the obsessed ones. I don't know, sometimes he scared me with his confidence.
We are currently five members of a team.
"Do you think this is enough?" I asked Namjoon who was lying on the bunk bed beside me.
"I didn't know Hyung, I think they are going to Daegu for another audition tomorrow. Bang PD nim said we need a few more members." He replied closing his eyes. He was probably tired after today's training. Jin Hyung and Jungkook had already slept while Hobi was still in the practice room.
"I wonder if this room would fit more people"
Namjoon hummed in response before we both drifted into a deep sleep.

TAEHYUNG'S POV:
"Taehyung si!"
"Taehyung si! Where are you?" I looked outside my window and I saw my friend waiting for me outside.
I smiled at him as I responded, "Wait for me, I'm coming."
I quickly came down the stairs and walked past my brother and sister who were playing with each other at that time.
I quickly pulled off my shoes and was almost ready to go out.
"Tae Tae!" My grandma called, causing me to stop.
"Yes, Halmeoni (Grandma)" I replied.
"Where are you going?" she asked with concern. She is always a little more concerned about me.
"Halmeoni, my friend is going to an audition today. I'm going with him for support. Don't worry about me, I will be back soon" I took off before even I complete my sentence. I knew she gonna ask me all sorts of questions and I was already late.
Finally, I stood before my friend who was in his hip-hop dress and was all ready for the audition.
"Are you ready?" I asked with a smile. He nodded with the same energy as we began our journey to where the audition was held.

"Taehyung si, I am a little nervous," he said with genuineness in his voice.
"Don't worry I know that you will rock it," I replied trying to calm him down a little.
"Do you honestly think that I will be able to crack the audition? I really want to make it there" he asked with fear in his voice.
To be honest, he was lacking a bit of training. He and I knew each other from our singing school. I joined singing classes when I was in elementary school. Appa used to say that I had a good voice.
Whenever appa and eomma came to visit us, I was the centre of their attraction. There was not a single family dinner where they didn't make me sing for a day. Sometimes it felt awkward, but one thing I loved about all those days was when my grandma sang with me.
Later when I trained for a few months, my teacher said that I have a too-heavy voice, and I need a lot of practice before I can master the tunes. I felt bad, but I really couldn't help with that.
Eventually, I ended up being attracted to saxophones. They looked cool to me. I took a few classes, and I really began to like them.
But appa doesn't want me to back out of the singing classes, and that is where we both met.
No doubt his voice was much softer than mine, but if I had to say what a teacher usually says, he was just a lazy person who wanted to have a shortcut in his life. Thus ended up giving auditioning for this company to leave his home soon after this.
But as a friend, I really don't have to say much. After all, it was his life. And he decided to make it.
"I think if you just give a little bit of attention to the high pitch, you might make it," I replied with a smile.
"Thank you Taehyung si"

We waited till evening for his turn, but as soon as he entered for the audition, it didn't take much time before the judges said him to stop and leave. I guess he will have to work a little harder the next time.
He came back with a sad face. "it's okay, I am sure if you work a little harder you will be able to make it next year."
He just nodded before we started to leave.
"Wait, what is your name?"
We halted in our place as someone called us from behind. Upon turning back, I thought they were asking again for him. But we were not sure so we just stood there.
The judges then asked a few crew members pointing at me to call me over. That was really crazy. We looked at each other, not understanding what was going on.
"Do you want to give an audition?" The judges asked straightaway as I stood in the centre of the stage all dumbfounded. I have never been asked something like this before. I haven't considered auditioning.
"I-I am not sure" I replied honestly. I mean I have not prepared anything.
"That is okay. We are here till 8 pm. If you are really interested in an audition, we would be glad to judge"

It was a huge opportunity for me. And I was really, really confused at that time. I tried to find my friend, but he had already left there. I am not sure if he was angry or sad or what he was feeling. But none of this was my fault. I never intended to give an audition.
And when an opportunity like this arises, I cannot just ignore it completely.
So I dialled a number. And soon the person responded from the other side.
"Halmeoni..." I cried almost in a panic.
I told her what really happened there. And she replied, "If an opportunity is standing before you, you should not let it back down okay?"
So I took a deep breath before entering the audition once again. And this time, it was for me.

It has been a week, and I was waiting for the results. It was supposed to be announced today. As I waited for the call, I chewed my nails nervously.
Since that day, my friend has not talked to me. Instead of focusing on the negative words he said a few days after that incident, I decided to focus on this audition.
I never knew he would react like that.
"Hyung, when will your results come?" My younger sister asked causing me to look at her with more worried eyes.
"Eun Junan, do not ask too many questions to your brother today okay? He is worried already" grandma replied while making dinner for all of us.
Aish it is almost the end of the day and I have not received the result yet. Will it be that I didn't get selected?
In the midst of all this, the phone rang and I received it instantly.
"You are selected," they said and that day was the most memorable for me.

Finally, I went over to Big Hit's office to sign the contract. In my hands, I held a tiny little green crystal that I consider my lucky charm, and I never leave it with me.
"I guess this was destiny, just like you. This is all very unreal. "I hope everything turns out well" I mumbled before I entered.

So I finally signed the papers and I met the other teammates. They were all really cool. There was also a young boy than me. If he can do it, I think I can do it too.
I smiled when I finally shook hands with Bang PD nim and the team.
"Welcome to the team Taehyung. You will be joining RM very soon," he said while gesturing to the boy who stood there in the cabin. There was one thing I needed to mention, however. I want you to be a surprise to the fan. Thus You cannot say anything yet to anyone okay?" he asked with a gentle smile.
I was not sure what to do at that time. Why must I stay a secret? Is it because I am not good enough? Or am I from a poor family? Will they get rid of me, if I don't really fit in?
The thoughts I had for that day were all kept in that state. I knew I had to work hard. I have come this far. I will not back down. Just as destiny wants me to be, I will be the one.
