Page 2. When summoning a creature from another realm, be cautious no matter how confident you are, you can never guess what they will try.
Although they will be confined in a certain area when summoned, it doesn't limit their power. They could use magic to manipulate you and plant ideas into your mind or simply attack you if they don't deem you worthy of coming into contact with them.
Sometimes summoners will research certain realms and find things similar to it to give the creature a sense of comfort when they arrive. This can also lower their aggression and open them up slightly to you. It could also do the opposite. Careful with using this method though as some could take it as mockery that someone they have never seen before is attempting to replicate their world through such flimsy methods.
Page 3. A known world that many attempt to summon from is the lower realms of heaven, the angels. The ranking of the angels from weakest to strongest are as the follows; angel, archangel, principality, power, virtue, dominion, throne, cherubim, seraphim. Each angel follows a 'power classification' from weakest to strongest are; diligence, chastity, temperance, generosity, gratitude, and patience with humility are tied at the strongest.
Another realm, opposing the lower realms of heaven, is the lower realms of hell. The ranks from weakest to strongest are as follows; demon, arch demon, baron, viscount, count, duke, monarch and sovereign. Each of these, just like the angels, have a 'power classification'. Weakest to strongest are; sloth, lust, gluttony, greed, envy, and wrath and pride are tied for the strongest.
Though I have said this, these 'power classification' aren't a good way to deem their power. Even a demon sovereign of sloth can beat a demon sovereign of wrath so this isn't truly accurate but it does hold some truth.
Page 4. There are many other realms that are in the later pages of this book and information on their summoning process and what will remind them of their realm have been recorded.
For now we will talk about the process of how to summon them. There are many ways to summon creatures but the best way to do so is the only one I shall speak of. The method I am talking about is a simple summoning circle.
The summoning circle will be written in the ancient languages and you should include the targeted creature, strength level and multiple other parts which are included in the later pages next to the creatures name as with each circle there must be different things written. Make them as detailed and as clear as possible.
After that then you should pour in the necessary amount of mana and call out to the creature. If they appear then from there attempt a contract.
Depending on the strength level, the amount of mana you pour into the circle will change. For example if you want the summoned creature to have let's say.. 1000 MP then you will need to pour in 100 MP so a tenth of the amount you want the creature to have.
You will be drained of more mana the longer you hold the summoned creature in this realm so be careful and watch your MP amounts.
If you don't include the targeted creature then you can specify the element you want instead and it should work though you could summon something incredibly dangerous or simply harmless.
Page 5. Contacts have two types. The first and best type was a contract where one holds all the power. The 'master'/ the summoner can order the 'servant'/ the summoned being to do whatever they want and the 'servant' cannot go against their orders. The other and not so great type of contract is one based on consent in a way. The one who has been summoned will be asked to do something by the summoner and the summoned being can choose if they want to do it or not. This contract isn't a very safe one unlike the 'master and servant' one. Of course the summoned being can also refuse the summoners contract and leave their realm. Or, the summoned being could kill the summoned before leaving.
There have been multiple cases of summoning going wrong and the summoner dying while trying to form a contract.
Cases of death from the contracts based on consent have also been common. The summoner has bound the summoned being to our realm and if the creature wants to do something then it can and that includes killing the summoner. Once the summoner is killed the summoned will return to their realm as they cannot stay here.'
I read through the rest of the book about different planes and creatures to be expected there along with information about summoning circles and things the summoned enjoy along with behaviour types and how to identify their behaviour type and mood.
Yuki was sleeping on my lap once I had finished so I slowly lifted her with my tail and made my way over to the bookshelf to return the book.
'I remember that the royal guard tried summoning both angels and demons but they said that his soul wasn't good enough or something like that, was that their request? A soul that suits them?'
'I won't bother thinking about this, I'll go do some training.' I thought as I returned Yuki to the main bedroom and left for the training room suited for the use of weapons or room T-W1.
The training room suited for the use of magic was room T-M1, The training room suited for the use of weapons was room T-W1, The training room suited for the use of magic and weaponry was room T-MW2.
I entered room T-W1 and looked around. There was loads of training equipment for all sorts of uses and every weapon imaginable along with a desk at the very back corner with blueprints to create a modified weapon.
I walked over to a rack of weapons and picked up a stone scythe.
'I should get my [Scythe mastery] to 100% instead of 41%' I thought.
I walked to the area where training robots were placed and turned them on.
'Interesting.'
The robot went to the side of the room and grabbed a scythe and began attacking me.
I had to use various methods to block and strike using the scythe which I wasn't accustomed to but I still went for it.
I used the snath to block and obviously the blade to attack. Sometimes I spun the scythe around to gain momentum and increase the power output or switch my attack patterns and alternate between defensive and offensive. Occasionally I would use the snath to hit the robot but not always.
I had set the robot to turn off after 9 hours of training, so, I trained for those 9 hours and rapidly improved with the help of the robot.
I could take ideas from how the robot fought and implement it into my own battle style and upgrade it, reinforce it, strengthen it and whatever else.
Eventually the robot stopped attacking and turned off. I was drenched in sweat and still had no clothes on other than undergarments and bandages around my breasts so it was easy for me to wash myself and then find some clothes to wear.
'I hope they have clothes for me.'
I exited the training room and made my way to the closest bathroom to take a shower. After showering I used air magic to dry myself and then I went to my bedroom.
"Hi Yuki." I said as I opened the door.
"*yip*." -> "you were gone for awhile."
"I was in room T-W1 to train my scythe mastery." I said as I sat down on the bed and lifted Yuki onto my lap.
"*yap**yap*." -> "you left me for 9 hours. I won't forgive you for this one."
"Are you sure?" I said as I rubbed Yuki's chest, ears and gently stroked her tail.
Yuki practically melted in my arms and purred with each stroke.
"*yip*." -> "I forgive you."
I continued rubbing the purring blob in my arms, "Good."
'After reading about summoning, I wonder if I should give it a go soon or wait for a while before attempting.'
I looked out the window and saw it was already dark, "Let's go to sleep."
'I'll check for clothes tomorrow.'
I went beneath the covers and Yuki dove under as well, snuggling against me. I wrapped my tail around Yuki and we both, eventually, fell asleep.
