Wounded and lying on the floor of the car with the murderous ghost of a suicidal woman less than two meters away, now that we had reached the outskirts of her old house, it only remains for me and my friend to wait for death... Or that's what I thought until I noticed the existence of a small Allen key next to the screwdriver touched by one of my hands.
'... That's it.'
Electric pulses run through my neurons that visualize a way out of the desperate situation in record time.
'Maybe... Just Maybe... It might work.'
With some effort my hand moves around, gripping both the screwdriver and the Allen key. Together a male scream hurts my ears:
"Haaargh!" From the driver's seat, Troy screams in pain as the five fingers of Constance's left hand begin to penetrate her chest once more. But now it's different, dark red blood starts to stain my friend's shirt, it piercing his chest in a totally physical way.
"NO! HARGH! PLEASE!" His eyes begin to flood with tears from the terror of death that gets closer with every millimeter the inexplicably solid ghostly fingers sink into his muscle.
"Let him go bitch!" Yes, dear viewers, I am the one who courageously screams, taking two seconds to get up with difficulty on my legs and advance towards the ghost.
My right hand, firmly gripping a sharp object, travels towards her face.
As expected given the history of my two previous attacks, my arm doesn't move enough to reach her, being stopped in midair by the telekinetic force a hand's breadth away from hitting her. But when is stop in the air, it becomes visible that between my fingers is not any iron object, but a mere shard of glass of the many that have been scattered across the floor with the shattering of windows and windshields.
My real attack is in the left hand, which comes from underneath, aiming to drive the screwdriver hard into the pit of the ghostly monstrosity's stomach. But... It's also stopped.
Even with the element of surprise, Constance manages to pry her fingers from Troy's chest and use her hand to stop my left arm.
"Rrrrrgh!" Her hand's grip on my left wrist grows in strength to the point where I can feel the bones crack, make me scream with my mouth shut and drop the screwdriver onto the floor.
Another 'bug' happens in her head as she turns her face towards me, giving me the cold stare full of murderous intent.
"... You first."
It speaks almost in a ghostly whisper, and then I just feel a hard blow to my wounded chest, knocking out any oxygen left in my lungs and my back slamming into the back seats.
Before I have a chance to draw even the slightest gulp of air, one of her hands lands on my face, completely covering my mouth, holding me firmly against the back of the seat and making my jaw creaking.
That strength and brutality, it's like having a gorilla press his palm against my face.
'A frightening gorilla with psychic powers.'
And as if chastising me for the thought of comparing her to an animal, Constance quickly digs the fingers of her other hand into my stomach.
I squeeze my eyes shut with that sickening pain... It stings, it hurts so much I would have vomited blood if it wasn't covering my mouth too... Wait, it's covering my mouth.
Somehow I manage to think through this torture and lack of oxygen in my blood, and then another scream echoes in the car.
"Hiiiiiaaarrr!" This time it's a female scream with a spectral tone...
The hand of the woman in white covering my mouth burns, being incinerated into orange sparks like fire. It reveals my parted lips, revealing a small Allen wrench I'm holding between my teeth.
'Surprise.'
Constance's strength falters from the pain of coming into contact with the key material, and knowing I won't get a second chance, I move forward again.
With the key in my mouth, I start delivering bites to the ghost's shoulder, neck and face like a mad dog. Each iron bite setting part of her spectral body to burn... until she accumulates enough wounds that she loses materialization.
Charged with adrenaline and the glimmer of a chance to survive this nightmare, I spit out the Allen key and force my body to reach the front of the car, fully lowering the handbrake that was on and awkwardly supporting myself with my hands in radio side.
"Go Troy! GO!"
My scream full awakens Troy, who instantly slams his foot down on the accelerator, forcing the car through the frail rotting wood frame of the house.

.
With a crash, the car crashes through the wall, slowing on impact, crushing some old furniture and coming to a stop in the middle of a room in front of a staircase.
A second of silence ensues, before Constança's ghost appears a little ahead of the car, back in her human form.
Troy is surprised, stopping looking for her and me with his eyes wide open like two billiard balls. I only watch in suspense the scene that follows.
'Please do the same in the Series...'
To my and Troy's relief, Constance ignores us this time and goes straight towards an object lying on the floor, picking it up in a slightly frightening way due to her preternatural speed.
It is a painting with the image of Constance when she was alive, with a couple of children, the children she killed.
"J-" Troy moves his lips threatening to say something, but I quickly cover his mouth with my hand, preventing him from drawing the ghost's attention by remembering his children.
We're not the Winchesters, we can't count on a perfectly timed rescue should she decide to rush in and kill us.
And fortunately, the scene takes place again as in the Series... The lights next to the stairs flicker even though there has been no electricity circulating there for years. Water starts to flow from the top steps to the bottom.
'Constance Welch killed her two children by drowning them in the bathtub.' I remember.
At the top of the stairs, the dark silhouettes of two children, a boy and a girl, appear. Same ones on the board.
Constance moves towards the bottom of the stairs, looking at them with a very human expression.
"You came back to us, Mama."
"You came back to us, Mama."
The boy and girl speak in unison, holding hands... And in an instant they are already downstairs, appearing behind Constance, who turns to them and is caught in a hug.
"AAH!" She screams as if in pain when her children hug her. Her appearance flickers several times between human and inhuman, beginning to distort and thrash into a hellish vision, slowly sinking into the wooden floor until a single pool of spectral liquid remains. Which also dissolves.
"Yeah..." I let go of Troy's mouth, my hand falling relaxed to my side. "The nightmare is over."
Feeling the adrenaline in my bloodstream subside and the pain from my various wounds starting to be felt in full force, I pat my friend on the shoulder. "I'll leave the rest to you, friend."
Completely free from the terror of a murderous haunting, my muscles go limp, dropping me back to the floor of the car.
As my consciousness is sinking again, before my eyes go blank, I see some system notifications.

.
Hot... hot to the point where it feels like molten platinum is pouring through my body, penetrating my pores, my capillaries, and flowing through my veins like my own blood, changing my being to the core, intertwining with it.
But soon that heat is replaced by cold, the cold brought to me by what my ears and nostrils identify as a howling and unnerving country wind, which in turn brings raindrops that are identified and by my touch as they hit the skin all over my body. The same touch that identifies the rain also identifies the wet earth under my feet and what looks like grass between my toes.
'What is it?'
As if to answer the question, my vision returns. My eyes are opened, revealing to me my body completely as it came into the world amidst the daytime landscape of a vast pine grove without time bathed in a storm.
'I feel strange... Did I die?'
While I'm in confusion with that sudden situation, a flash blinds my vision, followed by the colossal rumble of thunder. Lightning strikes and breaks a branch about six feet from one of the nearby trees and is blown towards me by the wind.
As I regained my vision from the glare, I noticed the beautiful gift that nature was forwarding to me. Caught by surprise, too late to get out of the object's trajectory, I cry out in thought:
'Not!'
And from some force responding to my mental command, I see and feel through an unknown sense the branch diverting its path, passing by my side and only hitting the ground.
Impressed with what happened, I temporarily forget about the storm and turn my attention to the branch on the ground, more precisely to one of the leaves still on it.
'Come.'
And surprisingly the leaf is moved by an invisible force, letting go of the branch and coming to me, I take it with my hand, bringing the height of the face to look.
It is a leaf indeed, and I brought it to myself with a thought.
"Is this... Is this a dream?"
"It is and at the same time it isn't."
Making me jump and drop the sheet, a husky voice answers my question. I start to look around when I notice someone a few feet behind me. I turn around right away.
"You could say it's the border between dream and reality, a space that conceptually exists inside your soul and combines a little bit of both. It's complicated to explain everything, but be happy, telekinesis is real."
The one who is telling me these things is an elderly gentleman, straight gray hair a little long, he is strangely wearing a leather jacket over a formal white shirt and black tie.
'I was sure there was no one there when I turned around earlier.'
I swallow and think silently for a while before answering. "... If this is inside my soul, who are you? And how are you inside my soul?"
'Why am I naked?' is also one of my doubts, but priorities before.
The old man laughs. Despite the fact that he is laughing, a certain bitterness is perceptible in that laugh, some sadness.
"Son, who do you think gave you this system and got you into this world you call..." He rubs his chin with some difficulty remembering. "Supernatural?"
"Fucking hell..."
