<*Back in the Spir dungeon on planet Jupiter*>
****
"SAKI! ANYTIME NOW WOULD BE GREAT!" I screamed to my purple wolf as I painfully limped away from the boss monster while grasping my left hand in pain. That was soooo not fair, it attacking me from behind! Damned stupid godtier levels!
Funny thing, know how the more you climb up a level the more the beasts become smarter and stronger? Well... This dungeon takes that to a whole new other level.
My experiences here taught me a few new things, like the fact that the beasts don't just become smarter and stronger, they now even travel in parties.
Sure, maybe the less the monsters the better for us. But I'm not sure you understand what I'm trying to say here. Imagine this, a well balanced party fighting against you, each beast making up for the others weakness even if they would be troublesome by themselves. Now, add the parties being just around enough for every wolf, including me, to face all on our own, and you've got yourself a pretty good idea of what we were up against.
How we managed to pull through up to this point, I have no idea. But somehow, we had arrived at the tenth level. Now the boss monster of the tenth level faced us. Someone who knew more about us than we thought.
"FACE ME YOU COWARD!" the advanced goblin king roared in rage as it stomped towards me. "TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY BROTHER!"
Yup, that's right folks. This large, definitely more powerful goblin king, was the older brother of the goblin king Murasaki destroyed a while back. And, as usual, he's aiming to take revenge.
"I WASN'T EVEN THE ONE THAT KILLED THAT GOBLIN!" I screamed back as I increased my speed in limping, not like I could escape it even at full strength.
"YOU'RE THE MASTER OF THAT WOLF, AREN'T YOU? I CAN SMELL THE BLOOD PACT THAT BONDS YOU TWO TOGETHER! IF I WANT TO TORTURE THAT WOLF, KILLING YOU WILL ACHIEVE MY GOAL!"
Great. Not only is this talking beast irritating and out for revenge, it also has a plan on how to do so. Knowing about the blood pact does not easily come to just any beast. This one is dangerous.
"HEY SAKI! TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!" I called to my wolf again.
"A BIT BUSY AT THE MOMENT!" he answered back. I searched for him in between the masses of ongoing fighting and spotted him battling down two parties that were quite powerful for beasts. What kind of dungeon has minions for the boss monster to exploit?! He's already overpowered enough as it is!
Guess I'll have to handle this by my self. Through the vibrations of the beast's stomping, I turned to the goblin and raised my hand. "YOU OWE ME FOR THIS!"
"NO I DON'T!" Saki shouted back.

<*Passive skill [Self healing(advanced tier level(2)] is still active*>

Huge dark flames rushed the goblin, who was smart enough not to take them head on and tried dodging. The good thing about these flames is that they never go out unless I will them too. The spell is overpowered, but unfortunately, it uses a ridiculous amount of mana especially on large targets like the king over here.
But I do love one thing about them, and that's how they can be easily manipulated, kinda like moving water.
When the king thought it had dodged the flames, I flicked my wrist towards its direction, and the flames curved right back to their target. There was no chance he could dodge it while still unbalanced.
This should deal with him. Or at least I hoped it would. Unfortunately, I sourly underestimated the capability of the advanced King goblin. He unnaturally twisted his body to take on as little parts of the flames as possible, and immediately cut off the burning parts before the never dying flames could do any more damage to him.
"ROOOARR!" it screamed in anger and pain when it couldn't regenerate it's body back.
"You've got to be kidding me!"

[OK then, let's try something else]

<*Torrent of spells(LVL 6) activated!*>

"EAT THIS YOU DAMNED BOSS MONSTER!"
Six powerful jets of water travelled at an impressive speed towards the goblin king, who still couldn't understand why his regenerative skill wasn't working. His head immediately focused on the oncoming attack though.
I had to give it the goblin, it had an excellent battle sense. Even with no hand and a half burned leg, it still managed to dodge about four of the jets, and maneuver its body to take the last two in none vital areas.
I already guessed that this wouldn't be enough to put it out, but I didn't expect for it to survive that easily from one of my strongest attacks! Good thing I had a back up plan.
As it was dodging my attacks head on, I had already circled around the beast and was preparing another attack from behind it.
"Even if you have an impressive battle sense, you still have many flaws!"

"DIE!"
I put everything I had in this one skill cause that was the only thing that could kill this boss. Every ability that I have ever used shot out from my body in a single beam that struck the beast through its entire body. It was a powerful combo of all elements, a good power to have, if it didn't require all my mana.
The King could have never seen it coming. He was quickly reduced to nothing but ash, leaving only its head that was still alive. It tried rolling away, but with my maxed out speed and power overload, I quickly covered the distance between us and grabbed it from the ground.
"You're lucky that this skill only works on weak beasts with my kind of level, but the way you are, you can't possibly defend against it," I said to the head.
"MON... STER..."
"No offence, but you never stood a chance against me,"

<*Evil eye(LVL 5) has been activated!*>

The goblin's eyes lost its light.
Now, how to dispose of this head... Ah, there we go!
I tossed the head to a very good disposable unit.
"What the heck?! Why did a head suddenly...gods, why did this imbecile have to be our leader?!" Red complained when the goblins head bounced of his.
"Don't be such a baby and finish your prey, Red!" I answered back, watching his fight with three parties.
"I don't take orders from you!"
"Forgetting I'm the leader, are you? We can't have that. Just because I can, Red, I order you to fight that party without the use of your mouth,"
"What do you mean just beca–mmmh?!"
"MMMH!"
That take cares of that. Speaking of which...

<*Mission success!*>

<*Reward has been granted!*>
<*Power overload has been upgraded to an advanced skill!*>
<*Skill 'Power Overload(LVL???)' is now referred to 'Power Overload (LVL???) advanced tier'*>

AWESOME! Another advanced tier skill! Though I've never seen the level of this skill, I just know that when a skill reaches an advanced tier, it evolves to an even more powerful skill. This is actually a good reward.
"Yo Saki, you done over–"
***
<*Goblin mage has been defeated. 200 EXP earned!*>

"Huh... Show off," I muttered as Saki leaped up towards me. The rest of the wolves were already done with theirs, all except Red.
"Oi! Put your back into it ya bum!"
"Mmmh!"
(Why you inconsiderate, useless–)
"No no no. We'll have none of that thought transmission here. Look at that, you're the last one! How are you the highest level beast out of all of us?" I joked and the wolves around snickered with me.
Though even if I would never admit it to him, Red is really powerful when he wants to. Even when given a handicap like not to fight with his snout, he was still easily overpowering the three parties without using his power, which was scary in its own way since I couldn't manage three let alone two without my ability to help me.
The parties fate was a done deal when Red finally enlarged himself. It only took seconds for the goblins and spiders to be slashed down to pieces before they could even adjust to his size. The second Red was done, he sucked in a huge amount of air, then turned at me.
"Don't you dare, I'm with the wolves!"
Like he didn't even hear me, he roared that city ending blast of his at me.
"DAMNED WOLF!"

I lifted all of the wolves near me with wind magic together with myself out of Red's range, then while still levitating, dived fist forward at Red and punched him right on the head.
"Ow! What was that for?!"
"That spell could have nearly killed us off you dingus!"
"No it wouldn't! It would have killed you alone! I have courage that my wolves would live through such an attack as long as their skulls were intact," Red smirked at me.
"Your wolves?!"
"Calm down, the lot of you! We have company," Saki stopped us both from arguing.
The owner of the dungeon, Spir Alina, made her appearance just like last time, still in the form of a little girl. I didn't even notice her presense.
"Ah.... Hi."
"Really? Never outgrew that, even now?!"
Spir as her answer stuck her tongue out at me.
"Real mature... That"
"Hmph! I can't believe you damn brat was able to take on the tenth dungeon master that easily. But I guess, rewards are due too,"
"Brat? Oh, sorry. Forgot you were like a thousand years old, granny!"
"WHY YOU LITTLE....calm down spir, he's not worth it. Call me what you like, but your reward will be me who's giving it!"
I don't like the tone on her. I don't like that at all.
"And your reward is.... " she prolonged the 'is' intentionally to build up tension. Unfortunately, she was taking this joke of hers too far. Where did I put the...ah yes.
"Iiiiiissssss.....aaaaaa–wait what are doing with that?" the dungeon god asked hesitantly.
I started swining it like a lasso, "What does it look like? I'm gonna nab me a god!"
"Wait no! Please! I'll talk. Your reward is some crucial peace of information. Beasts aren't the only existence in this planet," she quickly answered and vanished just before the net I had got from the 'H' shop could catch her.
"Damn! And I was close this time!"
She always made it her habit to appear everytime we're done with a level. A real nuisance, that one. And I felt like she was intentionally making the levels more difficult so I hope she dies in a ditch somewhere.
"What does she mean that beasts aren't the only inhabitants of this planet?" Red asked to no one in particular.
"No Idea,"
"I mean, if it was you I was asking, obviously, there's no idea that could be formed in that pea sized brain of yours."
"Oh that's rich! Coming from a demented wolf such as yourself!"
"Hey!"
Red tried pouncing on me, but I easily evaded him and chequed my time.
"OH SHIT! I'M LATE!"
"Late? Late to what exactly?" Saki asked but I was already on my way out of the planet through the ring. I was back in the janitor's closet, but I had no time to waste.
I rushed over to my room, and just in the nick of time, cause Jay, my new roommate, was already there waiting on me with one hand on the door.
"You've got one hour before breakfast. And since you are a rep, today is going to be your most busiest day yet," he said as he stepped aside. "And just so you know, we're going to crush your class!" he finished with a smirk.
"You wish! This inter-class competition is already ours!" I answered back. "After all, we are South!"
