Chapter 33 - THEY SHOULD CALL ME THE DESTROYERNATOR

Twin sister looked confused at first, but when her mind finally registered how much trouble she was in, the familiar fear I'm used to edged deep in her eyes. It also helped that she saw her brother bleeding from an open wound in the chest and not moving, making her face contact in shock.

"Hmm...good daggers. I'm taking them," I said and grabbed both from the side of black twin. The sister squirmed away on her butt, her mouth open releasing a silent scream.

I turned to the last boys direction whom I'm guessing had already left the premises. Do they really think it's that easy to escape from me? We'll see about that.

"Hey, Griffin..."

"On it," his voice echoed off the woods.

"Now, where was–that's interesting,"

Some type of plant was trying to hold me in place, the roots growing steadily and fast around my body. Huh, I guess the girl still has some fight in her after all.

The plant quickly engulfed me, face and all. Girl twin breathed a sigh of relief once done and rushed to check on her brothers condition.

"Mully! Please still be alive," she thought as she placed her hand on his neck to check for a pulse. When she felt it, she finally relaxed. Her brother's eyes fluttered open and he tried speaking.

She tried telling him to conserve his energy but the boy seemed desperate to try and talk.

"Milly...run... away!" he gasped.

"He's done for, don't worry about that. I used the type of plant that even if he tried escaping it's bonds, it would only tighten. It's also lased with a deadly poison that would give even an A rank difficulies," she assured her brother.

"Not...enough! Leave...me..."

"I'll have to agree with Mully on that point," I said from inside the trap.

Milly stiffened immediately, "No! It can't be! The poison–"

"–should have done me in? Nice try, but it was like a fresh breeze to me," I answered the girl as I broke through the twigs. She clamped her hands shut and immediately two large Venus fly traps caught me in between them, nearly chomping down on me but with two swipes, they were both cut down and laid there twitching.

"What else you got?" I mocked her as I span both daggers with skill that I never knew I had. She panicked and summoned two vines, one to attack me and the other to be their escape. Smart, that one. But not smart enough.

With deadly efficiency, I tossed one of the daggers to them with her back turned which impaled her when she tried protecting her brother. She yelped in pain and they both dropped down, her powers weak due to the pain she felt so both vines lost their strength.

"Tsk tsk tsk. You are the worst one of all the lackeys, Milly. These plants, I hear you needed a test subject to experiment on with your poison. That explains the toxins flowing through Alex's body. Has it ever occurred to you that he had a will to live? Probably not, with your crazy personality and all,"

She stared at me with hatred filled eyes, her mouth twisting to a sneer.

"The boy was willing to go along with it. Promised him it'll give him the courage he needs," she spat.

"And you being the ever gracious person that you are, your heart was filled with sympathy so you resulted in poisoning him for your own benefit? See how that sounds, Milly? I bet you even knew his age, but that didn't stop you from you goal, did it? Oh nooo. It might have actually even excited you more, WORKING WITH YOUNG BLOOD!" I roared at her.

Her silence already told me whether I was right or wrong. I'm not sure what this would be called. Child torture? Violation of monster rights? Whatever. All are equally bad, and all have consequences.

Milly's face held up creepy smirk, and she lifted her head smugly, as if she had done the world a favour by using a child as a test subject.

"I have no regrets with what I did! I'm actually proud, for using that lower lifeform as my rat. He should be grateful to even walk in the same school as me let alone breath the same oxygen," she gleefully said, her smile widening with a glow of madness in her eyes.

Oh no she didn't! She's this close from suffering a much worse fate than death, and who else to do so that the 'friend' that had just so happened to be near. But first things first.

She had no clue from where I came from, but suddenly, she was no longer holding her brother. She cried in alarm when her eyes finally caught me holding her brother by the neck.

"Other than your despicable healing, you at least didn't do anything more to the boy. You'll be one of the lucky ones, dude," I murmured and activated the drain skill.

I dropped the lifeless body and rushed to Jessie and Alex. I heard a shriek loud enough to break the sound barrier but ignored the girl as she mourned her brother.

Jessie looked unfazed by my various actions... Wait, was she smiling? I really don't understand this girl. She gave me space and allowed me to touch Alex. A green light filled the dark forest as I casted healing magic on him.

I guess those points were worth it from the wolves cause they helped me reach tier four healing magic, which did wonders on Alex's body. Soon, he was snoring soundly, his wounds fully healed.

I scanned him just to be sure, and finally relaxed when I saw no wounds around him. Jessie looked surprised by my level of healing when I had just obtained the power, but didn't question nor make a remark.

The wailing of twin girl had finally stopped at some point, and I could sense her blood lust for revenge.

"Leave her with me. I want to try out something with her, the werewolf too," Jessie said, her mouth turned to a smile, her eyes releasing a type of anger I have never seen.

"You sure you can handle her by yourself?"

"I've got to do some justice for my classmate somehow. Please just give me this one time," she pleaded.

"Alright then," I turned and headed to the direction of the two remaining boys, trusting her fully. And also, something told me that girl would do a better job than me in delivering pain. Wouldn't wish to be on her receiving end, you can bet on that.

Mason and nameless, where are you hiding? I don't know if I should call Griffin, let him direct me properly. Fortunately, I didn't have to. I found him battling down with dark helmet and Mason and from the look of things, they weren't fairing better against one opponent.

Both had grave injuries, whereas Griffin looked better than I last saw him. This guy was the real deal! To hold two class North students back while still jamming the teachers sight, now there's a power house if I ever saw one.

"Took you long enough. I was afraid you'd miss all the action," he said as the Northians glared at us.

"Looks like you don't need my help after all," I commented as he released a volley of lasers, each one finding its mark, a fresh sound of grunts as they struck home.

"Filthy maggots! Not worth the effort fighting! I'll show you to look down on us!" Mason yelled and activated his armor. The darn thing shined in mixed colors of white and golden, activating its shield capacity to the max. A perfectly made sword came forth from the armor, its hilt glowing a deep gold.

Helmet guy seemed to do the same, and his armor too modified itself to the same standards as Mason's, the same type of sword, only this time it was pure black.

"Um... Griffin, I'll have to ask you to step back on this one," I warned him cautiously.

"My suit's running low anyways. They're all yours," he said backing away. I lifted my right hand and summoned my spear, its tip extending till it grew above my height.

Both monsters charged with new strength, their faces failing to hid their prideful looks. I swiped the spear in a wide arc, sending both flying back to their previous position. Both their swords were slashed up in half, and their armor turned to scrap metal with that one attack.

"Ouch!" Griffin squealed as part of one sword had pierced his right knee. I slowly glanced to the owner of the squeal.

" You did that on purpose!" he cried in anger as he stared hatefully at me.

"Did not,"

"Did too!"

"Nah–uh!"

"Yeah–uh!"

"What are the chances that one of them caught you by bad luck?" I shrugged.

"Don't play with me! Even if you hid it, that piece looked directed at me. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you kicked it to my knee!"

"Where's your evidence?"

"Uh..."

"Then don't accuse me falsely,"

"I could have sworn..." he murmured to himself as I turned to the two other boys. By now, they had already come to, knocked out by my only blow just moments ago.

They both lifted their broken swords in shock, and stared at what remained of their armor. I gave them a moments to grasp their failure.

"Blame your parents. They don't know good armor if it hits them in the face," I told the lot. That struck a nerve. They were both seething in rage but somehow held it in.

Both looked at each other, then Mason suddenly started laughing out loud. He continued laughing hysterically, even the guy to his side seemed confused by this outcome. Suddenly, he unsheathed a dagger and plugged it deep in his friend's chest.

A look of shock, horror, betrayal, then resentment flashed on his face before his eyes lost the life in them. His body went limp for only a few secends then it twitched right back up.

I could see it, there was nothing left of the guy, just a hollow shell. What a despicable monster!

"You'll serve me well, Drake. To make up for your failure in protecting me," the mad lunatic screeched. He lifted his right hand with a type of ring and a horde of up to twenty undead appeared to his call.

All of them began making mourning noises, like they were in pain, and I noticed the same knife Mason was holding was giving the zombies some sort of power boost. Soon, they all grew larger in size, their bones sharper and their speed greater. Why I'm I not surprised?

"Let's see you try these zombies on for size!" Mason shouted, safely hiding behind his newly turned friend, a deranged look in his eyes.

"I'll take you on!" a voice boomed from the back. Alex came out from the shadows holding a type of branch (or is it wand?)in his hand, with a confident smile but he couldn't fool me. That smile was obviously forced. Where was this kid up to?
