Twilight led the three survivors to their respective rooms. Each room was clean and equipped with basic necessities such as a bed, a desk, and a closet.
Marie jumped on the bed in her room and laughed. "Wow, this bed is so comfy! I can finally get a good night's sleep." Lily sat nervously on her bed, still in shock from the events that had transpired. Mica inspected her room quietly.
After settling in, the three of them decided to explore the bunker. They found several rooms and facilities and noticed that there were security cameras installed in every corner. Souta had access to all of them.
In the living room, Mica asked Twilight, "What exactly are you?"
"I'm a 3D program that serves my master," Twilight replied.
"I know that, but what I'm asking is what are you? Are you an advanced technology that is programmed to serve that guy? You speak like a human who has emotions. Are you a human who was transformed by that guy?" Mica probed.
"Please refrain from bad-mouthing my master. He is the one that I have decided to serve. You have no right to say that without knowing him. Excuse me, call me if you ever have any problems," Twilight said and disappeared.
"Mica, you don't have to be so hard on that guy. He saved us after all. Your injury is not just a minor injury that can be treated by a genius doctor. You were on the window when we crashed. It's almost impossible for you to survive, yet that guy Souta easily healed you, not only you but all of us," Marie said.
"I think Mica is just being cautious for us," Lily added.
"Well, being cautious is good, but you should also know your limits. This place is practically heaven in the apocalypse. If we were thrown out there, there's no telling what would happen to us in the future. But here, we have a future. I'm going to stay here no matter what, even if I have to use my body to seduce him," Marie said. Lily got nervous and worried about Marie.
"Marie, you don't have to go that far," Lily said.
"No, Lily, Marie's words are true. This is a sanctuary. We should do as that man has to say, but I would never allow myself to get laid on!" Mica replied.
The door opened and Souta came in. "Like I said, I won't do that. Anyway, I want to know what's happening outside," he said.
"Outside has been a nightmare worse than you could imagine. Killing, stealing, raping, and other crimes are common. Groups of survivors will band together to find shelter and food to survive," Mica replied.
"So outside has gone as I expected. You said you were in a city when you got caught up in a fight. Do you think there are still survivors in that city?" Souta asked.
"It's possible, but the chances are low," Mica answered.
"Good, it's been a while since I got out. I guess I need to see this city," Souta said.
