The night seems like it was going on forever, Daisuke played a couple of games on his phone to pass the time. He wondered if the previous people that came were just strings of luck, he thought this because after waiting for a while, no other customers came by.
'I guess tonight isn't a big night. I should've stayed home, making extra money like this won't get me anywhere. I mean, 7$ an hour? My boss is a cheapskate..'
Daisuke thought inwardly about his boss's money-hogging nature. But he quickly brushed these thoughts off, he was just happy he was getting paid at all, he lives alone, and he renting at a decent place as well. What more can a guy like him want?
'Hmm, my shift is almost up. Should I leave early? It's not like this place is even popular anymore, ever since that new gas station came, (Ron's Pit Stop) it feels like this place lost its meaning'
Daisuke pondered as to whether or not he should leave and go home for the night. After a couple of minutes of silence, he decided to stay for a while longer just to wait and see if anyone else showed up.
But to no surprise, no one showed up.
"𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘩, I shoulda guessed as much. Welp, I'm out of here. If I'm lucky, the boss won't notice a couple of 20's missing from the register, hopefully…"
Daisuke took off the gas station uniform in the changing room and began clothing himself in his normal clothes. With his black shirt and his dark brown hoodie, he grabbed his watch to check the time noticing he was right on queue to clock out.
"Finally, goodbye to this shitty place. Well, for now at least"
Daisuke grabbed the backpack that was sitting on the empty employee table and walked out through the back. He normally takes the streets to get to his house, but it takes way too long due to traffic and certain areas being dangerous at this hour.
'Better take the shortcut, and I should be quick about it. I don't wanna be caught up in anything ridiculous"
Daisuke quickly took to the alleyways, making his way through tightly cramped areas where the homeless stayed, and where the men and women go to do the 'deed' away from prying eyes. Daisuke quickly maneuvered his way through the many people surprisingly 'getting it on' in the alleyways.
'Great, people have to remind me of how alone I am. Focus Daisuke, Focus. Don't be envious, just keep going your almost home'
Daisuke suppressed his jealousy towards the men and women in the alleys being passionately dirty inwardly, he tried to make it through one more alley to make it to his apartment. But, surprisingly he saw something, or rather someone leaning against one of the walls.
'What the…'
Daisuke squinted his eyes to see who was ahead of him, and what he saw supersized the heal out of him. A woman with long ice-blonde hair, she had a great rack and a body figure that any guy could stare at for hours on end. However, she looked…hurt.
'…no, no, just ignore it, dude. This isn't your problem, you already helped someone tonight, you don't need to pry into another person's life
Daisuke tried his best to walk past the woman seemingly unconscious on the wall. But as he walked past, he took a glance at the state she was in. Her clothes were a bit dirty, her face a bit bruised, her plump lips slightly dry, and her legs seemingly scratched up.
'..shit…Augh! Damn it…'
Daisuke swore at himself inwardly, turning back to see if the woman was alright.
"Um, excuse me miss? Hello? Do you need me to call an ambulance, or do you need anything like something to eat? Or something to drink?.."
Daisuke placed one hand on her shoulder, then he placed the same hand on her neck to check if she had a pulse. He sighed out of relief, knowing she wasn't dead he quickly took out his phone.
"..guess I should do the most obvious thing first in a situation like this"
"… their…sty…"
Before he could dial 911, Daisuke heard the woman plead for something to drink.
"Oh! Uh! Your thirsty, hang on. I'm pretty sure I got some water in my backpack. Give me a second"
As Daisuke reaches into his backpack scrimmaging for the bottle of water, the woman eyes slightly opened up. She looked over at Daisuke, her eyes a gleaming bright tangerine color, her dry plump lips being moistened by her tongue, dragging along applying saliva to revitalize her lips. She fixated her gaze on Daisuke's shoulder and bugged her way closer and closer to him.
'I know I left it in here some- aha! Found it"
"Alright here you go-"
𝘾𝙃𝙊𝙈𝙋!
Daisuke's sentence was cut short, and the feeling of a stingy pain ran through his entire body. But the most pain he could feel was near his right shoulder. Despite being in tremendous pain, he turned his attention toward where the pain was accumulating from. And to his shock, the woman sunk her teeth into his neck, his flesh torn and shredded, and his blood slowly seeping through to her lips and mouth.
"G-Get off of me, DAMN IT!!"
"Oh?!…"
Daisuke using the last of his strength shoves the woman off of him. She simply backed off and stood up licking the blood from her plump lips. Daisuke held onto his neck tightly, trying his best to prevent any blood from leaking out any more than it should.
His breathing all shaky, his eyes a bit watery, and his mind racing from what just occurred. He stared at the woman with caution and fear, her eyes leered over at him, and a smile crept across her face.
"..So sweet…maybe even the sweetest…"
Her words were soft and gentle, but her eyes gave other signals, vicious and aggressiveness was all he can see from her eyes. Daisuke crawled backwards on the cold hard floor, trying his best to create some distance between them.
"..Oh, no, no, no. You can't leave now"
As she spoke, Daisuke blinked, and within that very same moment, she appeared right in front of him. She pressed her index finger onto his shaking lips, staring into light brown eyes, and spoke gently.
"..I wanna talk with you, Daisuke~"
He froze at that very moment, hearing his name come form this dangerous individual. His breathing suddenly went cold, and his mind went blank, his eyes meet with hers and all he could say.
"How…do you..know my name…"
