Chapter 101 - Against the Bloodhound

"Ahh Cuba, truly a beautiful country with a shitty government, though it's not my way to say anything, now then time to get some answers as to where she is currently." As I couldn't track her down as their was no binding string of fate between us that would lead me to her.

After acquiring the total fate of this world for myself, along with my Stand reaching its current form now I came to realize something.

I could seamlessly merge alternate realities of my world upon my own so long as I know the stories of that version of earth personally as I had a very specific set of restrictions that need to be followed to make it possible.

One, it must have a portion of its story in the current time period of the world itself, so it's pointless to merge worlds that are in the past or in the future as they will have no bearing on the current present state of the world as a result.

Two, it can't be a version of Earth with a different set of power systems to the original as it will upset the balance of the world as a result.

Three, and most importantly both the geography must be near identical and also that their stories would have no major conflict with the original story of this world before it merged with any others.

So long as a world fit this criteria I could seamlessly merge it with my own and have it become a part of my world, but currently only the story of the world of Black Lagoon has merged with mine and the people within it existing alongside my world.

Though I knew to get her to join I decided to rewrite the content of that world a bit, at least very slightly to make it much easier for me to do what I wish with this world and all the new things added to it as well as more easily convince her of joining my side as a result.

After all if she has no one to turn to when she realizes the truth of the FARC are nothing more than allies of the Colombian Cartel, a group their supposed to be enemies with, and that she is nothing more than the Cartels Guard Dog, of course she would lose all faith and leave them.

"Or if she has someone like me and just decided to destroy all of them like she always wanted, at least in the original story." I say to myself as I listen through Dark Necessities to hear on people's conversations nearby.

I call it 'Whispers in the Dark' within a radius of roughly the entire span of New York City itself I can hear any and all conversations of my choosing, luckily it lets me filter out the noise and only listen to people talking about conversations that are important to me, it's good to deal with spys if any appear near by or those that are planning an attack on me.

"So that's where she is, she's currently on an assassination mission Huh?" I say as I listen in on someone probably on the higher ups in the FARC discussing her mission and it's sucess.

"So she shall return to base tomorrow I see, well I guess I can wait to give my welcome party to them tomorrow." I say before I decide to hit a night on the town and enjoy a peaceful night in Cuba before the streets run red with blood.

..

.

Directly South of Havana, Cuba, close to the southern shore of the country laid one of the main bases set up here in Cuba proper.

And it was here that the Hound of Florencia had returned after a successful assassination mission and was currently getting a debrief from her superiors.

*Sniff Sniff*

But even though she was getting a debriefing her superhuman sense of smell made her smell something in the air, it was faint but she could feel the scent itself was getting closer to the compound.

The smell of blood and death wasn't something uncommon to smell for her, but this smell, it was the blood of thousands upon thousands of people all covering this persons body, it was so strong and intense it immediately put her on alert.

But she didn't say anything, nor did she alarm her superiors as this scent intrigued her, a actual challenge was approaching, and her inhuman level of senses were telling that whoever it was, they were coming for her specifically.

After being told that she was dismissed she returned to her gun locker and pulled out her Barret 50cal sniper rifle before she headed up to the rooftop of the base and faced in the direction of the approaching person.

Soon off in the distance she saw the figure of a man off in the distance as she took aim with her sniper rifle and aimed right at him.

But then he stopped, raised and eyebrow before turning his head to look at her directly and then he grinned.

*Shudder*

For the first time she shivered as the man, who was over a kilometer away from her, was staring right at her, someone who has just as strong eyesight as her, but she quickly collected herself, got the bearings correct to perfectly calculate the precise angle to aim at to take the perfect headshot.

*BANG!*

And she took her shot, and in less than three seconds did the bullet hit her target, but instead the splash of blood from a head exploding from taking such a shot to the head his head just reeled backwards before slowly pulling himself forward to reveal him completely fine but a 50cal bullet between his teeth as he pulled it out as she read his lips.

'Oh look I caught (**) a magic bullet." She heard his voice in her ear as she quickly reacted and pulled out a blade from beneath her sleeve and spun to stab it right into his open eye, only for the blade itself being stopped between his fingers.

But she quickly kicked at him to put some distance between them, only to realize she was pushing herself off his body as he didn't even move an inch as she leaped away from him before taking aim with her Barret but only to realize that the barrel had been completely crushed as a result.

She reached for her holster, only to realize her guns were instantly removed and saw them in his hands as he twirled them in his hands before instantly unloading them and within a single move turning them into parts before dropping them to the ground.

Having nothing else on hand she went at him like a mad dog as she swiped her blades at him, always aiming specifically for spots that would kill and cause extreme pain.

But the man quite easily dodged or deflected her attacks with his bare hands with a slight smirk on his face which irritated her as their fight continued.

Though she did wonder where the rest of her comrades were at, but as she smelled the air her eyes dilated as she realized that somehow she was the only living person left in the base with the intense scent of blood began to waft up towards the rooftop that they were on.

"Ahh, you already realized it haven't you? That's right, everyone of them is dead, and only you are alive, Rosarita." He says as he catches both of her wrists stopping her blades from attacking more before forcing her to drop them while using his knees to block her attacks with her legs at the same time.

"Who the hell are you? An enemy of the FARC? Or were you sent by InterPol to take me down?" Rosarita said as she wasn't going to get anywhere as it is.

"Me? You can call me Dio, and as why I'm here, I'm here to show you the truth that the FARC is hiding from you as they aren't what they say they are and it's sad to see such a woman as yourself being used without even knowing the truth." He says while shaking his head in disappointment.

"What the hell are you on about?!" She said baring her fangs at him.

"That in the end you are no more than a glorified guard dog of the Colombian Cartels and are only serving their interests more than anything, and don't worry as I shall show you myself." He said with a calm gentle voice but in her eyes all she saw was the smile of the devil as darkness surrounded them both and they both disappeared completely leaving only a base full of dead bodies in their wake.
