Chapter 8 - Plans of Betrayal & Haki

"I hate the ocean." Is all I said as I stared out from the bow of Teach's ship as I stared out at the sea before us.

"Well if I was trapped in a coffin for 50 years in the ocean I would come to hate the ocean as well…" Medusa said as she was sitting on the railing alongside me as we stared out to the sea.

Me and her were staying as far away from Teach and his crew just because we can't stand being around them, specifically Teach, the burley guy and the guy who was for some reason constantly riding on his horse and they all smelled like shit, only the navigator and the sniper of the crew at least bathed from what I can tell.

"Hey, wanna screw him over? I heard him bragging about how he is gonna steal Whitebeards devil fruit for himself, even though he already haves one, which is odd." Medusa suggests to me.

All of our stories became available to one another to 'get to know' one another, though I found out quickly that peoples worlds stories can be probated so others can't see it, but Teach hasn't realized that yet, while the other one is Junko but she knows but she doesn't care as she likes to show it off as her actions had repercussions well past her demise that basically ruined her world and that just made her laugh.

The rest of us kept our stories close to our chests, we maybe in this chat together but we all have our own agendas so keeping info from one another is the norm, no one trusts eachother fully as we all have a knife behind our backs ready to cut them down in their moment of weakness, if they can that is.

Before getting the world I would have been in the middle strength wise but now I would place myself in 2nd place with me tied with AFO as I have no clue his strengths or how he uses his abilities but I can feel he's powerful to the point that kill shots won't kill him instantly but will still severely hurt him.

Ainz is a different matter, my instincts are screaming at me that even with The World Requiem, he is still more powerful than me so he is the one on top of the strength ladder of our group as much as I hate to admit it, only good thing is he isn't human, if he was I would do everything to find a way to take him down.

I, DIO! Will never allow myself to be weaker than some pathetic humans ever again! AFO doesn't count because he is a mutant wearing a humans skin in my eyes at least.

But I'm getting sidetracked, point is Teach still hasn't made the story of his world, One Piece, private so all of us have a copy of the story of this world, the hero and how it all ends.

I don't much care but learning that Teach is the only known human in the world who can use two devil fruits without dying from the backlash, and I know the reason why.

"When I met him I could feel it, the thing off about his body, he has two hearts, something that shouldn't be possible but for him is, I believe that's where the power of the devil fruit resides, in the heart, so it gives him the power to hold two devil fruits without dying, and if he wants that fruit so much I do honestly want to see the look on his face when it's stolen from him." I say in response before grinning as I summon the world and merge it back with my right arm as it turns pitch black as a result.

Because of Teach not blocking info on this world I have learned of a thing called 'Haki' a way of how people naturally use there spiritual energy to strengthen their bodies, perceive where their enemies attacks or location in advance, and even for a supposed select few, bend others to their will, all things I will acquire in time.

One I got easily after realizing it's existence was Armament Haki, all I needed to do is reserve my body perfectly with The World and my arms or even my whole body if I put in the effort I can easily access it because most stand users have a strong control over our spirit after all.

Observation Haki, I don't need it as my senses are greatly above a humans to an unnatural degree, and seeing the future isn't worthwhile when in the worst case scenario I can just turn back the clock with The World Requiem to avoid that attack altogether.

And the last being Conquers Haki, one for those that are worthy to rule over all, and if not I, DIO, am not worthy to rule over everyone then who have I been aspiring to become all my life?!

So yes I can feel it swelling in me, and for now it only needs a little push to break that seal before it becomes another power to add to my ever growing strength.

"So you plan on taking it?" She asks as she sees I have already mastered one form of Haki in the short amount of time since this chat formed.

"Well have you mastered Haki yet? I mean to even get past the 'Strongest Man in the Worlds' defenses you would need something like this." I say in response as I let my arm return to its normal look.

"No, besides I don't have a habit of eating human hearts, sure I kill and torture people for my own amusement, but even if it gave me power I have no plans on eating another humans heart." She said in response.

I just nod in response, "Even if one can do one of the most heinous of crimes, any species has an aversion to eating one of their owns flesh unless either absolutely necessary or one has completely lost one's mind and has fallen into the absolute depths of insanity, luckily I'm no longer human so those rules no longer apply." I say back to her.

"I see, and we'll it looks like we are arriving at our destination." She says as we look out and see what appears to be a giant castle shaped island floating in the middle of the sea with plenty of marine ships surrounding it, but not stopping us as we approach.

"ZEHAHAHAHA! I can just imagine the looks on their faces after we're done with this place." Teach says as he walks over to us and looks at the super massive prison of Impel Down.

"Yes, after all…." I say before turning away before giving a sideways glance at Medusa as both me and Medusa smirk evilly.

"This is where the fun begins." We both say in tandem as we arrive at the gates of Impel Down.
