New powers
I am alive but no different than a dead man. I was like have been gone in a vegetative state. Right now I am able to feel mana flowing through my body and all the acupoints started opening and the pressure on my heart was reducing and I can feel like a ring forming around my heart and strength of my heart was increasing. After sometime my body was stabilized and I removed the lock on my body. And sited with leg crossed, and started checking my body. I found I have made one ring around my heart. Now I am 1st level apprentice mage. After this I sat down and started consolidating my cultivation. My heart was strong and now my heart was strong enough to withstand about 3 to 4 more rings. After starting cultivation I have reached 1st level of 1 star swordmen and 1st level of apprentice mage. Now I can start practicing magical spells and sword technics.
I was not worried about the technics as I remember all the skills from past life and I can use them with my ki , mana or aura. The most important thing for me was the control over my strength. Therefore I selected one motion technic "so near yet so far " one mele combat technic "everything is light ", one long range technic "one finger for creation or destruction" , one sword technic "heaven and earth cut " and finally one healing technic "eternal body ". With the selections of technic I was ready to start doing my practice. In these technics I just have to use aura and ki so for mana practice I have to learn spell so I found spells for my self from the book of everything and most suitable spell which I found for my self was "fire control". This spell was growth spell which grows with the strength of the user. It is something related to the control of fire. It help the user to control the fire at will and the strength of the fire increases with time of uses. This spell can even make the user immune to fire. But it is very hard to practice and there is no one who have practiced it with perfection. It is very dangerous as many people have burned during practice of this technic. I had confidence to practice this technic because of the "eternal body" which I practice. After all this I started practicing all my technics one by one.
I have started practicing technics which I selected. All of the technics was very hard to practice and I practice all the technics with dividing equal time to each of them. Practicing each technic requires different equipment or different way to do them. Such as to practice eternal body I have to hurt my body and get highly injured or take one finger for creation or destruction required my finger to be strong to able to withstand the energy and so on. Most difficult and harming one was the to practice fire control. While practicing fire control technic it helped me practice eternal body. After practicing for about 2 months I was able to breakthrough first level for each technic. During practice I was injured multiple times. But I was able to heal due to eternal body and it was the only technic which was able to breakthrough to the third level.
One day my father saw me practicing my sword technic and was surprised but never told me that he saw me doing my practice. After seeing me he usually help me in practice with providing different type of sword such as wooden sword, heavy sword, light sword, flexible sword or many different type of swords. He helped me in practice very much and due to him I was able to make progress with high speed. I have reached minimum third level for each of the technics some of my technic have even reached 5th level. I was getting continuous breakthroughs and as much as I was making progress It was much more difficult to make any more progress.
After practicing for 2 years I had reached bottleneck. I had reached 10 level of apprentice mage and 10th level of 1 star swordsman. For last 4 months I was unable to make any more progress nor I was able to get any major progress in any technics which I practice. One day during breakfast I told my father about this. Then he told me about the demonic animals and there cores. He said " in forest there are many demonic beasts. Demonic beasts are different from any normal animal as they are able to cultivate same as humans. They usually lives in forest with high density of mana and cultivate there with the help of any treasure or herb. They are usually strong but there are many weak ones which you can find near the border of the forest. These demonic beasts have a core which have there complete mana collected at one point. These points are where you can find demonic cores, each demonic cores have there own characteristics such as those demons who use fire have a demonic core wit fire attribute or one with ice have core with ice attribute. Many people use them to make breakthrough to major realms. "
He than asked me " if you want you can simply buy one and have practice, these type of things does not account for much". But I refused his offer saying that " well even though I can get one of those demonic cores and make breakthrough but till now I do not know were I stand in terms of powers as I never had any real fight. So I would like to take this opportunity to practice and see what level of power I had reached. "
" Now there is about 3 months for my next birthday so I would like to spend my time there and have real life practice " I spoke these lines with a curious and humble appearance on my face.
After hearing all this my father went into a deep thought, after sometime he spoke " ok you can go there but there Is a condition which you have to fulfil " hearing this I was like someone have just given me a surprise and I am unable to process it as I never thought he will agree this easily even if he was putting a condition in front to fulfil.
I asked "what is the condition" but while asking I was very careful while choosing any word which I was speaking.
