After all of the enemies on this floor died, I saved myself. Save myself by swimming into the depth river. Before I did that, I put some of my equipment around the cleaves of rocks.
I jumped and swam into the middle of the river. When I turned around, I saw that all of the harpies were roasted. They were roasted by the enormous flames. Quickly, their carcasses turned scorched.
(If I'm a little late, I'll already be a charred corpse!) I muttered in relief.
I waited for a few minutes in the middle of a river. Sometimes, I dived under the river to escape from the heat of the wildfire. Luckily, there are no crocodiles in this place. So, I freely dived deeper.
Time passed quickly until night came. The wildfire in the forest began to subside and vanished. With that condition, I got out of the river.
When I started to wear on clothes, a voice came from above the surface,
"A nice fight... based on an intelligence point. However, I'm dissatisfied with your death. It's rared for you to die on this floor. Not bad!" he began to clap his hands.
"What the heck!" I was annoyed instantly. "What a bad hope you hoped for me! Rather, use your tongue to lick your ho instead bad hoping me... especially my achieved!"
"What a sharp word thou'rt had!" His astonished tone started to increase. "Marvelous!" his clapped increase again.
"Whatever you said!" I sighed for a short moment. "By the way, where is the exit door? Is it nearby or what??"
"Quitely near! Just follow the downstream river!"
"What?! But, I already arrived at the downstream river!"
"Indeed! Looked at that! It stood before thy!"
When I heard that, I instantly tried to confirm it. After looking, there was a black door in front of me. At least, it took ten meters from where I was standing.
"How! How it stood before me?! I didn't see that before!" I was astonished.
"That's how magic work! Or... I should said that... an occult!" his happy tone rose up.
"You did that?! An asshole like you... did occultism? Nah, I didn't believe that!" while moving these hands as if in disbelief state.
"What an insolent thou'rt!" his angry tone started to rise.
"That's how magic works! Magic whom I created to disbelieve you!" I started to laugh for a while.
After that, we continued to trash-talk each other. Sarcasm, sinism, until roasting jokes each other between us. Many long times I'd to that than I expected. But, in some topics, I started to talk seriously,
"Hey, old man! Just curiosity. But, what an enemy I must against on the next floor?"
"Your enemy??" he silenced for a while. "If I didn't forget... That's a... Ah! salamander! You started to against with that on the next floor!"
"How! How it stood before me?! I didn't see that before!" I was astonished.
"Salamander?? Did you mean... that salamander? Kind of lizard or similar like that isn't it???"
"Splendid! Thou got me in the first place! Did thou get prophecy for thy bird brain, huh?"
"Please! I'm in serious mode!" I said firmly. "Right now, at least, gave me some clues for that!"
"Hmm!" he said in a "hmmm" tone for a while. "I didn't interest in that, at least, for right now!"
"For god damn it!" I sighed. "Okay, but at least, teach me about magic stuff!"
"Why should I? Why would I do that for... a bird brain like thou??" He said with a deeper tone. "What advantages I've if I teach thou about that? About magic stuff? Tell me about thy behind the reason for that!"
"Reason behind it??" I sighed with a deeper tone. "Of course for my revenge! What's else?!" I said firmly.
He started to be silent for a moment after I said that. In my opinion, I thought he didn't want to teach me based on that reaction. Surprisingly, he started to laugh loudly. Furthermore, his laughter made my ears buzz.
After he ended his laughter with a relief tone, he began to speak,
"What a glorious declaration thou'rt had!" His tone of excitement increased. "Like a howling from the deep of earth... Like a tremendous suffering from a child who tried to grab an uncertain rope... Like the rhythm of revenge that's so seductive and serene... What admirable and strong words thou'rt! I'm in!"
"Okay... So, what are we gonna do? Tried to collect something? Or what?"
"We?" He laughed loudly. "Only thou! Here's the book I gave to thou!"
I heard something fall from the sky. When I heard that, immediately I checked the stuff.
When I checked that, it turned out that's a book. This is in accordance based on what Nostradamus said. After I took the item, he said,
"Tried to be an autodidact, especially in magic!" He said with a joyful tone. "I changed its language already. One more! I gave a hint. Remember the history of "David and Goliath". It made you realize something important!" And his voice vanished already.
He left me along with this book he gave with.

I started studying this book. With all the limitations of understanding that I'd, I tried to comprehend the contents of this book. Honestly, this took me several times to learn it. Because of that too, I didn't move to the next floor yet.
After a few days left, I still didn't understand the ground content of this book, not a bit. Moreover, in a sentence that's written like this...
'Magic is like a constellation of stars in the sky. Imagination is like binoculars. If thou can see through it, thou'll gain everything, even the prophecy itself...'
"Constellation? Binoculars?? What the heck meaning of this!"
That sentence was the reason why I didn't understand it. I'd always hard time understanding it. In the end, I continued to the next floor without understanding the contents of the book.
I went to the next floor. When I entered the floor, I appeared in a land. Not only that, there are several trees neared freshwater swamps. If I used the opinion to review its place, it's like a holarctic realm.
Luckily, because the land is slightly higher than the swamp, it made me safer. At least, I can be rested while searching for my spot to the hideout.
Time flies away. Imperceptibly, the night came. Luckily, I was abled to find a hideout before nightfall.
Even so, I still couldn't find any enemies or creatures that attacked me since I arrived on this floor. I, sometimes, looked for them so I can moved to the next floor. However, I got no results in the end.
"Ah, shit!" I snorted indignantly. "How come I didn't meet any enemies on this floor?? Did something happen in here before??" I started talking to myself.
Even though I was annoyed, in the end, I didn't find an answer for the creatures on this floor. On the one hand, I'm getting sleepy. This is supported because the weather is a little cold. In the end, I started rushing to sleep.
I adjusted myself and started sleeping soundly. Time just flew by time. However, I heard a voice. A strange voice I heard from outside.
It sounded like a baby's voice. Even so, It started to sound like a baby crying. At first, it started low voice in first. However, the cry started louder than before. It made my ears hurt.
(What's that sound?! It's so loud! Wait! There's no baby human in this place. In other words... is that the monster?!!!) I thought for a moment.
Realizing this situation, I immediately prepared all of my equipment. Quickly and carefully, I looked outside. Step by step.
(I wonder... what monster or creatures should I face on this floor???) I muttered while walking cautiously.
Cautiously, I already walked to the lip of the rock crevices. I began to look warily. When I tried to see, I didn't believe what I saw before me now...
I saw a humongous lizard. Its size is biggest than a hippopotamus. Not only that, its color is dark. Dark like dark midnight. His eyes were bright red that glowed in the dark.
(What the fuck is that creature!!) I muttered in an astonished state.
Not only one creature. But, five kinds of similar lizards were the same size as the previous lizard. They ate grasses and some fish on the edge of the swamp.
(So, I must kill all five of them? At the place where they were living, is that what you want it??!! You bastard, Nostradamus!) I muttered in annoyance.
However, while I was watching them, I accidentally stepped on a rock. It created unintentional friction. Immediately with that, the five creatures realized and looked at me. Realizing I'd been seen, I immediately panicked and ran.
At the same time, they also chased back after me. Realizing this, I immediately ran fast.
