I started to launch my attacks. As the flames became widespread and biggest, I ran to one of the flock harpies. Running with the equipment I'd prepared.
When I got there, I saw several harpies who were panicking. They started to fly. Trying to leave that place. Didn't want to lose my chances, so I started to grab and tugged hard on one of those harpy's wings. The harpy gasped and fell to the ground.
It didn't stop right there. The harpy that was trying to get up, I killed it with a knife I made. It died with its neck pierced by me.
(One down!) I started to look at another harpy.
Another harpy who saw that started to shout at me. Even so, The harpy didn't dare to attack due to the enormity of the flames that spread out. Several harpies flew away from that place.
(I won't let all of that bird brain get away from me!) I started to chase the harpies.
Quickly, I started to catch up with them. Even if it was just a sprint. When the space between us was close, I threw a smoke bomb at them. At the perfect time, smoke billowed in the air. Their vision became distorted as they flew.
A gold opportunity came in my flash, and with that chance, I started to throw several stones and knives. As I predicted, they fell to the ground. It's just like the same harpy did before.
I killed them. One by one, several harpies fell. I stabbed their chest, neck, and faces with this homemade knife.
Several harpies, with no fear of fire, started attacking me. They started to attack with their claws and feet. They swooped down toward me.
(They come to me? Bring it on!) I muttered spirit.
When the distance between us was already ten meters, I threw several knives at them. It flew smoothly toward them. Several harpies panicked at that moment. However, it was too late for them. Some of my weapons were already stuck in their heads and eyes.
As a result, several harpies fell to the ground. They fell pretty hard that head first. Because of that, they didn't get up quickly.
I ruthlessly killed them one by one. Without a doubt. Endlessly in such a chaotic situation.
"Come on! Which CHICKENS do I've to kill at first?!" I said with a cruel intonation.
However, what a pity I had, the remaining harpies didn't counterattack. They chose to retreat. Retreat to the big tree where the other and boss harpies gathered.
I started to chase them. Furthermore, I didn't want to get burned in a place like this.
(I killed most of them, especially their subordinate. But, before they gather in one place... I must!) While running.
While running, I tried to throw some rocks to knock them down. Now, there are only 3 of them remained. Even so, they're accelerated with agile. It gave me a hard time knocking them down.
(For fuck sake! They were agiled in speed, which is almost nonsense for me to knock up them!) I'm frustrated already in my mind.
In the end, I'd used that weapon. The weapon I specialized in that fight against boss harpies.
The weapon is a set of archery. Even so, I used the poison of some frogs and poisonous insects that had been smeared on the tips of some arrows. So, a decent plan to test its effectiveness.
(Even if they were birds, they shouldn't have immunity to this deadly poison!) While grabbing some arrows quickly.
Quickly, I got into position to aim at the harpies. I calmly tried to comprehend the path of the wind. After predicting everything, I shot one of the arrows at the harpies.
*Swoosh!*
Arrow shot quickly. The arrow shot with agile because of the current wind path. At that time...
*Stabbed!*
The arrow stabbed right into the back of one of the harpies.
I started shooting some arrows at the harpies. I did this while running from the ever-widening flames. What a mentally and physically draining activity I'd!
Even so, what I did wasn't in vain. The harpies began falling to the ground with the poison arrows that had stabbed their bodies. A sign that my weapon is efficacious against them.
I didn't waste the opportunity. I killed those who had fallen to the ground. Their screams were loud during the process, like a death hymn.
In the end, the harpies were dead. Even so, I couldn't rest for a while since there were still four harpies left. Mainly, they were the main bosses of this floor.
(Let's go to the main menu!) I ran to the big tree.
***
The fire had spread to all forests. Like the fire axis, the movement spread fast. Made the forest become a sea of flames. In addition, because of its location in the middle of a forest, the tree was already surrounded by flames like a ring of fire.
The harpy bosses were starting to get scared of that. Quickly, they rushed away from the tree. Flew away to save their lives.
I saw them fly away. Seeing that, I said,
(I only needed several minutes to make those bird brains collapse like a patient who had vertigo!) I started to run into a different place.
I immediately took off my equipment and clothes. After that, I swam into the river while holding some of my equipment with banana leaves. I did this because the river route led exactly to my previous hideout.
Besides, I'd also aim for this moment. Moreover, I predicted the nature and behavior of animals on this floor. From that, I concluded...
(Sure, they're headed that way!) I muttered in an optimistic tone.
***
After some time, I swam along the river. I almost reached my hideout place. As I expected before, I saw them. The boss harpies were already downstream.
Seeing that opportunity, I hid near the big rocks. Calmly, I prepared clothes and weapons. After everything was prepared, I immediately aimed and launched an attack.
Arrows shot quickly. Finally, the arrow pierced the chest of the black obsidian harpy. It groaned in pain and fell to the ground already.
The remaining three harpies were suddenly shocked by the sudden attack. I swiftly fired a few shots at the harpies. From the several arrow shots I'd fired, two harpies began to experience the same thing. This time, a harpy with a snow-white and fiery-red body color became my victim.
I quickly shot a few arrows at the last harpy. Even so, it was abled to dodge some of my shots. Realizing I only had a few arrows left, I started changing the weapon.
Before I killed the last boss, I killed several harpies which had been poisoned. Before I killed them, they tried to sing a melodious song. The same song as yesterday's harpy did to me. However, I didn't fall for their trap and killed them instantly.
*Stabbed!* *Stabbed!* *Stabbed!*
"Now... the last harpy!" I sighed for a while. "What method is perfect for you? Any idea, you bird brains?" I smiled cynically at it.
The whitish silver harpy got angry and screamed at me. It started attacking blindly. I, who had already understood its attack patterns, was abled to dodge all of its attacks.
"What's wrong!" I laughed for a while. "You did kill me before. Now, why? Is it because your family died cruelly in my hand?!" I provoked the bird.
The harpy immediately became furiously. It shouted while throwing several wind attacks at me. I realized that and dodged the attacks.
"I didn't think you still have several attacks like this. Is this called "hidden power when you're angry" ?" I provoked the harpy again.
The attacks were getting worse. Several wind attacks hit the flames and made the situation even worse than before.
(This situation made the temperatures on this floor very dry! If that continues, It made worse!) I thought hard about it.
I thought hard about this problem. However, everything seems deadlocked. This is also supported by thick fire smoke. Makes it hard for me to breathed.
However, when I saw the harpy, the harpy also experienced something similar. Moreover, it flew slightly higher to catch its breath. Of course, the smoke was blocking its line of sight.
Realizing this momentum, I made use of the thick smoke. I started to look for a spot. A specific spot for shooting my arrows. When I found that spot, I started to shoot arrows. Calmly and decisively, I shot several arrows at the harpy's body.
I waited for a moment to see its reaction. Moments later, a groan of pain was heard from above. Not long after that, heard a sound fall from above the sky.
*Thud!*
Hearing that, I rushed to the source of the sound. Upon inspection, it turned out that the harpy had fallen helplessly. Like a bird that's exhausted and tired due to a broken wing.
Even so, I waited for a while to see the effects of the poison. Several minutes later, the harpy didn't move. Seeing that, I immediately rushed over and killed it. Right into the neck, I stabbed it with my knife.
*Stabbed!*
After that, all of the enemies on this floor, especially the enemies boss, were already cleared by me.
