But Ares definitely didn't take any of that seriously. He Simply bursted out into laugher ad he stared at The General " Is that so? Then that's good for you!"
The General was simply getting annoyed as he stared at Ares..He hated him so much.
"Well you can laugh all you want and make fun of the situation all you want, But don't forget to take a quick rest. Because tomorrow you're going to be beheaded" The General said smiling.
"Tomorrow I'll make sure I personally bring an end to your pathetic life " He said.
"Are you sure about that?" Ares asked staring at him with a Smile" Haven't you even considered the reason why I followed you here willingly even after knowing what you did and that it's all fake?" He smiled.
The General stared at him without staying anything.
Ares Continued "I thought you were stupid, but I didn't know that you were a complete fool. What do you expect? That I simply came here to get Eliminated by you? Or have you also forgotten the fact that I'm an Immortal? or Aren't you afraid of Immortals anymore?"
The General let out a smirk "Immortal? Immortal my foot! I don't know what trick you used that day, but I won't simply be buying the words of a Scammer like you! Just look at your eyes, heavens knows what trick You are using this time to make people believe you're blind." He expressed as he folded his hands.
"But don't worry" He smirked "I don't care what's your purpose of following me here. But maybe you're the real idiot here. But whatever may be the reason, But the underlining factor is the fact that you're going to die tomorrow. so get Ready for that"
The General didn't bother talking to him anymore..He simply turned and walked away, leaving Ares alone in the prison cell.
Ares stood there with a slight sigh as he felt his hands on his eyes "I think it's back..." He removed the blindfold and could see again" That was random"
He made the blindfold disappear in his hands.
"What a mess. I guess it's gonna be worth it all when I manage to get what I want" Ares said as he slowly sat down, leaning back against the wall. "Lord Kan, The leader of the city ..this should be it"
Just as he leaned his head backwards with the intention of closing his eyes for some rest, He heard someone besides him.
"And what's it that you came here for?" Neon, who had appeared besides Ares, Asked.
Shocked, Ares quickly turned to look at the Little red fox staring at him from the sides"You... why are you here? What are you doing here?"
"I should be asking you that. Why did you allow them to take you away to here? and what is it that you want to get here?" Neon asked as it looked around the dirty prison room" In a prison room?"
Ares sighed as he ignored Neon, leaning against the wall "I don't think you'll understand any of it, so don't bother" He expressed.
"Hmm..." Neon turned to look at Ares "Why do I feel like you've been acting all suspicious lately! Like... you've been acting strange and different..."
"How so? what do you mean?" Ares raised a brow.
"You've been so secretive and stuff. I feel like you're not telling me something important. And you're not even sharing with me some information.. like why you suddenly came here"
Ares smiled at Neon" Really? Is that so? I don't think I noticed..But, I don't think it's something that you could understand. So you shouldn't bother about it"
"You see! You're being secretive and stuff!" Neon expressed " No matter what, don't you think you should tell me about it?"
Ares hesitated for awhile, staring into thin air. "What if I told you, that I'm not the real Demon Patriarch that you know? What if I told you...that I'm a fake? then what?""
