The loud whining sound of the horse came as soon as they came to an abrupt stop in a path leading to a nearby forest.
Iris who was on the horse had instantly looked around in confusion "Ah! What's that about?" She quickly questioned as she looked around" Why did the horses stop?"
Neon had flew up to stand on Ares' head as it looked around the forest where they were" I think, I feel something. Someone's following us"
As soon as Iris heard that, she quickly went mute in shock and confusion. She slowly looked around as well "What do you mean...by that? Are you saying that... someone's after us??"
Neon was quiet for a while as it used it's glowing red eyes to scan the area. When it was done with that, It sniffed through the area.
"Yes... Something is following us.." Neon said as it tilted it's head through the place "And I think it's..."
Before Neon could finish it's sentence, something had quickly flew out of the bushes close by.
Woosh!
Came the sound of a medium sized white beast which dashed up to the air and flying down towards Ares' horse.
Iris gasped as she stared at the beast which Looked more like a tiger..But it was slightly hairier.
It's color was completely white with blue lines drawn across it. There was also blue circular mark around it's right eyes.
"Roar!!"
Came the vicious sound of the beast who was flying down to Where Ares was.
"Oh no you don't!" Neon snapped as it twirled above Ares for awhile, summoning up a little red dust wind around himself.
And as soon as the beast drew closer, Neon used it's tail which stuck out of the wind and slapped off the beast.
Pa!
The beast let out a short groan as it flew off into the bush it had come from.
"Wow! That's cool!" Iris had expressed looking towards the direction of the bush.
Neon was now patting his own head "Of course I'm cool! That beast didn't even stand a chance against...."
Before it could even finish his own sentence again, they heard some sounds coming from that same bush. And as soon as they looked towards it, they saw seven similar white and Blue tiger like beast walking out.
They were all groaning in fury as they walked out of the bush, heading towards them.
"Oh..Do You think you can handle all of them..?" Iris asked, staring at the approaching enemies.
"Well.. I think there's only one Solution to that..." Neon said with an uncertain smile on her face.
"Really? what's that..?" Iris asked curiously.
"RUN!!"
Neon's voice was a clear as anything as he snapped his fingers together. Immediately the two horses sped up their legs and took off in a flash.
It was almost impossible to see them running pass, talk more of seeing those who was on them!
"Hey...No....I'm....not... ready...for....this...!" Iris's voice was literally saggy as they rode on.. She had gripped the horse's neck tightly in a hug to avoid falling down!
Because at this rate she didn't know which would kill her first! Falling from this speeding horse of falling into the hands of those seven beast!
"How...long...do.. we..have...to... keep..up..like... this??" Came Iris's saggy voice again.
" I don't know! Until we're completely free from them!" Neon replied on top of his voice which clenching onto Ares' head.
Neon had the spell on Ares, so hopefully he won't fall until they're safe..Maybe?
But these beast behind didn't seem to be stopping an inch at all! They were also running as fast as the horses were! Almost catching up with them!
And this had left Neon speechless.
"Oh dear! Save us Ares! Just stop sleeping already!" Neon snapped at Ares Who was still dozing his head around.
"Save us!" Neon cried out again smacking Ares' head.
The speed of these running beast and horses were felt through the Forest without even looking back or stoping!
No one could see them but could Only feel the fast brush of breeze that had pushed off trees and bushes. It almost pulled these trees down.
But at a point, when the two horses got to a certain point, They disappeared.
Now Only the seven beasts who were after them were left. These beast had all come to an abrupt stop when they couldn't see anyone again.
The Seven beast stood there, looking around in confusion while trying to sniff up something or any trace
But it was as if they had disappeared into thin air because they couldn't pick up anything.
These beast were left there at the spot, strolling around while looking for them. And not long, The guardian of the illusion boarder appeared.
The old man was the one who sent these beast after all and was basically following their energy closely so as to find those with demonic aura.
But it Seemed they had lost track of them.
