A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
Khione was annoyed. Who the hell would make the hell of the underworld such a fiery place. A snowy blizzard hell with sharp ice stalagmites poking up from the ground would be more fitting. The exhausting heat was tantalising the snow goddess.
In Tartarus, even a goddess's power was severely reduced. Her mass of black hair was matted into a mess. Her coffee brown eyes no longer upheld the pride of a goddess. She would make that imbecile suffer if she got out - correction, when she got out.
Her plan was cruse but effective: travel agonising miles on foot to the elevator, turn invisible amongst a group of monsters and follow them into the elevator. Simple.
Did it work? Let's just say that there was some unnecessary hiccups along the way. And when the snow goddess finally saw the stars that blanket the earth, she swore that she would make Piper's life a living nightmare.
