As the grains of time continue to shift forward throughout the cosmos, rippling events are set into motion as a new planet comes into being. Much like Earth but on a grander scale in size, the gods look down upon it and make wagers of the up coming events that are sure to follow soon after. One goddess in particular has already chosen her candidate and has already paid a hefty price in her power to provide a major bonus for him.
"Thera." come a voice calling to the goddess that is watching the oceans swirl and lands rise from the blue depths. She turns to look at the older god who called her name with a self confidant smile.
"Father, it is good to see you after all this time." She says with a curtsy. Her dress is the color of dark blue with what looks like stars gleaming in it even as her raven black hair swaying with her movement as it hang long down her back.
"Bah. Enough with the formalities my daughter. It is good to see you as well." He looks around for a moment before moving closer talking so only they can hear him speaking. "I just wish it was in better circumstances than this, but as they say where there is risk there is reward."
Palin the God of Sun shakes his head slowly as his daughter Thera, the Goddess of Night Stars nods in agreement with what he says.
"These are trying times." he continues as he walks with her from the congregation of other gods and goddesses that are trying to maneuver and play The Great Game of the Cosmos. As each factions people win on the worlds, the gods grow in strength while others fall in power as their chosen champions fall.
"They are Father but I believe I have chosen one that shall be a true boon to our cause to help stop the others from taking over and causing more damage to the universes" Thera looks back at her allies and foes weighing them in equal measure, knowing what once was a friend can be a enemy in the beat of a heart.
He sighs softly before giving her a hug as she feels his warm around her. "Just like your mother." He chuckles with a smile before becoming serious. "This is our final chance and there is a lot riding on this. If they win this round, then all the worlds will be plunged into chaos." He looks her deep into her twilight eyes with his sun golden blazing. "We must succeed and protect the races."
Thera nods firmly as a chime sounds so deep that it seems to rattle the very core of existence.
"It is time. The new world has been created and the next round begins! Place you bets and chosen champions gods and goddesses." A female voice announces as the world continues to spin as trees mountains and more appear and rise from the world of Talimorn continues to spin in the light and dark of space.
I will win with the help of my chosen one. Thera thought to herself as biddings and voices raise in chorus. There is no other choice. She has that final thought before her and her father return placing their own bets and making their plans in staving off the coming chaos.

Jaren Docken lets out a deep sigh as the last customer in the store finishes their purchase and leave.
"Finally." He says out loud as he pops his muscles and cracks his neck. "I am glad this day is done so I can go home and enjoy my games." A coworker nearby shakes their head at him.
Jaren is 30 years old and has played games all his life. He didn't let it take over as some do as he still continues to work out and take care of himself. But he is always most happy when playing strategy and base building games. As he whistles a tune from an old cartoon movie with a rooster whistling the same song, he goes about getting the store closed.
As he walks toward the front of the store, he is shocked by a loud crash as a huge delivery truck comes crashing through straight at him.
"Fuck!" is the only words to come out of his mouth as he is about be flattened when he is enveloped in a bright flash of light and disappears from in front of in just milliseconds before being flatten like a pancake. Little did he know or ever would learn that the same coworker that shook his head at him watched the whole thing. No one ever believed what happen to Jaren, even with video proof and lack of a body or blood. But that is a tale for another time.
*********
Jaren finishes his curse as his feet land on solid ground before looking up to get his bearings as his last memory was almost being crushed by a truck and disappearing from in front of it. He takes a moment to look around seeing that he is in a dense woods surrounding a large clearing. Standing in the clearing is a moderate building with stones placed around on the ground creating a level area for it to sit. He also notices a couple more houses off to the side that are more rough shape as if they were just slapped together with a hope that they with stay put.
"Well, I don't think I am on Earth anymore." His inner otaku kicking up going full bore with different ideas of where or when he was at when he hears a loud chime that seems to come from nowhere. He quickly spins around looking but doesn't see anything when a blue screen pops up before his very eyes.
[Welcome to the world of Talimorn Lord Docken. I am your system, the Superior Kingdom system that is created to guide you on your journey to conquer the land and to unite it under your banner.]
As Jaren finishes reading this, his body tingles in excitement. "Yes! It is my time to shine!" He shouts as his mind quickly turns back to all the games he play as various races fighting one another though both the space style and medieval style were his two favorite versions to play. He quickly realizes what the buildings are and what their purpose is. His ears ring as his attention was brought back to the screen.
[As I was saying, I am hear to help and guide you.]
He can't help but raise an eyebrow reading the words as if he could hear the annoyed voice for lack of paying attention. 'Sorry.' He thinks toward it. 'Would you show me my status and information on this place?'
To his surprise, it responses easily to his thoughts as a screen opens up giving him an over looking view of where he is standing showing the buildings green and black fog surrounding the area. His stats pop up to the side of that with the info about the buildings.

"Welcome milord to this world. I am Jack. This is Jake and this is Mack" As the man tilts his head to the left and right respectively. "They are me brothers and we were sent to serve as your starting force and will help you build this kingdom into something worthy of your lordness."
Jaren slowly nods before motioning them to rise. "You don't have to knee to me out here and beside we are a long way from a proper kingdom yet. We need resources and materials if we want to expand." He thinks for a moment before asking, "Am I able to look at all three of your stats and skills?" Jack simple nods as three screens pop up in front of him. Jaren's impression of the three reminded him of an old show he watched with three funny guys but quickly shakes his head to refocus.
"Alright. Do you all have the basic tools?" The three nod in response. "Good. Jake, I need you to explore the surroundings and hunt something for food. I know we have some but that won't last us long." Jake nods before pulling a bow out of seemingly nowhere before he quickly trots off his lanky form quickly fading into the trees. "Mack, do what you do best and go start collecting trees for us." Mack smiles broadly as he pulls out a two handed ax almost as tall as he is and easily hefts it to his shoulder before walking to the closest trees.
Jaren can't help but shake his head at the massive man as he turns back to the last brother. "Jack I need to look through the system and see what we can build. Give me a moment?" He nods in response before backing up a step and watching his brother begin to hack a tree. Steady thumps as he cuts through it rings out.
Jaren smiles huge as he thinks of what he can do with inventory slots. Looking through it, he finds a package marked new arrival welcome gift. Curiosity get the better of him as he selects it and chooses to open it. A glow appears around it as it opens and pushes out four Items. Checking them out his grin threatens to spilt his face.

[Shield of the Night Sky]

Jaren nods gratefully to what he has received. 'It seems that I have a major bidder for me. Guess we will see how this plays out', he thinks to himself he equips the sword and shield. The weight settles on him uncomfortably at first as he had never trained to fight with them even though he liked collecting them in his world. Thinking about it, he takes out the book and looks at it before looking at Jack.
"Could you keep an eye out while I use these items? I am not sure if it is going to mess with me or not." He says waving the book in his hand. Jack nods as he pulls out a massive hammer that would be easily called a warhammer if it had been made differently. Nodding his thanks, Jaren used the skill book and gasps in pain as information floods his brain in details of wielding the weapons. A minute later it was done as Jaren gasps for air as he gets two notifications.
[Congratulations! You have learned skill Swords lvl 5!]
[Congratulations! You have learned the skill Shields lvl 5!]
Jaren shakes his head as his head finally stops hurting. He makes a mental note to never use skill books in an unsafe place.
"Well that way fun." He comments before turning to look at Jack again. Even though his hand is covering his mouth, he could tell Jack was laughing softly at him. "A little warning next time Jack." Jaren scolds him before the other laughs loudly.
"Sorry milord. Nothing I said could have prepared you for it." There isn't single ounce of guilt in his face as he smiles. "But milord is right. It is better to use such items in a safer place." Jack nods as he looks around still watching for signs of danger.
"Alright. Well we need to summon a hero now. Hope they are really helpful." Jaren tell him as he marches closer to the townhall to make sure nothing goes wrong as Jack follows behind. Little did he know that his world is going to get even more crazy as time goes on. Jaren's eyes gleam in excitement at the thought of who he could possibly get.
