Chapter 8 - System Inventory & Shop

'Okay, I think that's enough for now. Let's move on to the next Menu: [Inventory]."

[Inventory] menu is where I can store and take out my items to and from System Dimensional Space.

It have unlimited amount of inventory slot like in the good old rpg games, unlike in those modern day mobile games where you start with only around 25 to 100 slot of item slots and people need to spent their real, hard earned money just to add a meager ten slot on their inventory box.

I stored the prize I get as the Champion of Annual Family Gathering Youth Tournament, a high quality pristine white Spirit Opal Gem the size of tennis ball in there.

On the [Shop] menu, I can browse many items there and purchase them using the System own currency, Resource Point or in short, RP.

I can also sell the item(s) in my possession to get RP on the System Shop.

When I checked it, the Spirit Opal Gem I won on the tournament is only prized as 500 RP by System.

If I where to sell this Gem on the Market in the Real World, I can get as much as 50,000 Rupis (This World's currency) from there. One must know, that the money in this World has quite a strong value here...

For example, on average, ordinary people would only need to spend 3-5 Rupis a day to fulfill all their daily needs.

Although for Cultivators who are always in need of cultivation resources almost every single day, they can spend 100 Rupis on average for their daily need.

So this Spirit Opal Gem that can be sold to buy 500 days worth of cultivation resource are only prized that much on the System Shop...

Continuing on, I look up the Items that are being sold by the System....

- Healing Candy [5 RP]: Consume this candy to heal up to 50% of its consumer's Maximum HP. Comes in 33 different colors, shapes and flavors that you can choose freely (Strawberry, Orange, Banana, Durian, Grape, Cherry, Lychee, Apple,Peach, Pear,Pitaya, Blackcurrant, Hazelnut, Melon, Watermelon, Langsat, Tangerine, Chocolate, Kiwi, Lime, Persimmon, Plum, Mango, Guava, Papaya, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Rambutan, Loquat, Mangosteen, Salacca, Apricot and Starfruit).

.....

'Ridiculous!'

Just the first item I seen on the System Shop already makes me want to retort so much.

'System! Do you need to make it have so much variant!?'

Oh well...., I guess, being the very basic healing item, and one of the cheapest comodity in the shop, that would make this item become the most popular and thus making the system decide to make various flavors to cater its costumer's needs.

Not like I will ever complain consuming a delicious candy with delightful fruit flavors to instantly heal 50% of my Max HP, too.

Compare them to the bitter medicine that heals slowly and more pricey than the candy offered by System store... Well, it's beyond comparison.

Okay, next! Let's see what other items sold in the System Shop now.

- Magic Gummy [5 RP]:

Consume this gummy candy to heal up to 30% of its consumer's Maximum MP. Comes in 33 different colors, shapes and flavors you can pick to your heart content (Honey, Cola, Walnut, Acorn, Lycorice, Peppermint, Spearmint, Barley Mint, Blueberry, Raspberry, Cranberry, Green Tea, Thai Tea, Coffee, Lemonade, Roselia, Muscat, Longan, Sweet Corn, Vanilla, Red Dates, Ginger, Red Beans, Mung Beans, Peanut Butter, Purple Taro, Sweet Potato, Mistletoe, Marshmallow, Chestnut, Coco Pandan, Milk and Hawthorn).

'Okay.... This one is also as ridiculous as the Healing Candy, but instead of healing HP, it recovers MP.'

....

- Skill Snack (Singkong Balado) [150 RP]:

Consume this sweet and spicy treat to make you learn (Soul Fire) Skill.

[Soul Fire]: Passive skill. All enemies hit by your [Holy], [Light] or [Fire] Attribute attacks will have their soul burned by the Flame of Judgement, lowering all their stat (STR, VIT, SPI and AGI) for the duration of your [SPI] seconds.

[Sword and Shield Mastery]: Passive skill. A complete mastery in the perfect art of using sword and shield, reaching perfect harmony on their alternating combination in warfare. Your sword will never miss its prey, and your shield will never fail to protect you.

'There is even some snacks that can make you learn a new skill just by eating them!?'

Oh, whatever.... Let's see what other items sold in the System Shop.

- Antidote [2 RP]:

This green liquid can be consumed by drinking or applying it to the poisoned wounds to remove all poisons in the body. Cures [Poison] and [Paralysis]. Tastes like a mix of fresh peach and sweet cherry.

[Slow]: Slowing the flow of time surrounding the target, halving their speed for the time duration this effect is active.

.....

'Okay, I think that's enough for now.... Let's just skip those consumables and focus for the notable ones sold in the Shop....'

- Phoenix Feather [15 RP]:

Place this item on an intact corpse that have died no more than 24 hours to revive them and restore 25% of their Maximum HP.

- Jade Ankh [60 RP]:

Throw this green Jade Ankh to the ground to instantly revive one target who have died no more than 24 hours, completely heal 100% of their Maximum HP and MP, while also summoning them right on the place you have thrown this item. Works as long as the target is on the same world with the user no matter how far is the distance. If the Host died while having this Item in System Inventory, you will be revived automatically after 69 seconds.

'Wow, the System even sells item that can revive the dead!? And one of them even have an Auto Revive feature!? Good Stuff!'

Not to mention the price are quite cheap too. If I sold the Spirit Opal Gem to the System Shop for 500 RP, I can buy 8 Jade Ankhs or 33 Phoenix Feathers.
