Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: "Echoes of Despair"

A whole squad of Uchiha is currently Waiting for the smoke to disappear since the entire battlefield is covered in dissipating smoke.

the Uchiha warriors were left stunted and silent trying to process what happened and the destruction that this one man caused.

All of the Uchiha that is in the squad were shocked and also confused they have never in their lives seen a massacre of this level one man killing 'hundreds of Senju shinobi like they were nothing. he made it seem natural.

where the battle once commenced with warriors fighting for their interests and honor was now nothing, but ruins filled with bodies with water that had been dyed red in their blood sitting on a mountain of bodies there was a brown-haired man with a purple skeletal ribcage surrounding him with a mysterious appearance he had made with the despair he has caused.

as a heavy silence blankets the ruined battlefield

with people with injuries being forced to the medical center of the battlefield,

"The medics of this era are nowhere near the modern of the 21st century but they can at least heal an arm, or at least that is what Indra thought at this moment."

as some of the Uchiha members regained their consciousness, struggling to comprehend.

"What happened?"

"Am I dead?"

"Who helped us?"

as gasps of these words were heard over the ruined battlefield, they were the Uchiha members who had fainted mid-battle. it's really surprising that they lived Indra mumbled to himself, warriors that just faints mid-battle?.

all that they remember is that they saw a terrifying creature, slaughtering the enemies they were losing to.

"Who is that" a Uchiha solider asked with a panicked voice.

"I don't know but he's good-looking."

Whispers and gasps spread among the survivors. of the man who saved them,

Indra started to get to the most important stuff of the day to make his plan for the future to be achieved I need money so why don't I slowly but surely rob the Uchiha they are my descendants after all as Indra thought that and then he started to yell.

"Hey!!~ who's the acting commander of this Squad."

"That would be me, sir!!"

A yell that could be heard from afar.

The voice was that of a woman.

A figure emerged, silhouetted against the fading light. This was Captain Hotaru Uchiha, a distinguished commander in the throes of a relentless conflict, bearing the weight of leadership without the encumbrance of traditional armor.

Clad in the simple yet symbolic garb of an Uchiha, Hotaru's attire spoke volumes about her reliance on skill and strategy rather than the conventional protection of armor. A scar or two adorned her visage, a testament to the sacrifices made in the pursuit of her clan's ideals.

Indra decided to not care about who this woman was and just decided to speak what was on his mind.

"Make a report about what happened here. make sure you add that fact we might be ambushed on our way back!"

"Yes, Sir" The reason why Hotaru was keen to listen to this man was because he had the Sharingan and his pivotal role in their salvation.

Hotaru "Is this guy from the Main Family of the clan?"

Indra, casually suggested, "What do you say we make our way back to the base camp?"

Senju POV:

"Hey!?..."

"Where are our companions? Why haven't they come back? We had an excellent strategy."

Upon hearing the commander's inquiries, the rest of the Senju warriors remained silent, their concern mirroring the anxiety that permeated the squad. With familial bonds intertwining almost every member, the thought of their Brother meeting an untimely made them feel a sense of guilt among those who weren't present.

The middle-aged man voicing these concerns was Haru Senju, a seasoned warrior with nearly two decades of battlefield experience, he has seen many of his clan members come and go.

his clan members' lives. gradually over the last decade, his heart had solidified, emotions giving way to a numbness born from the loss of his wife and children in the war—the Uchiha were the perpetrators.

This profound personal tragedy fueled an unrelenting animosity towards the Uchiha. Haru had dedicated his life to avenging his family, rising to become the third-in-command among the Senju, marked by a record of achievements and accomplishments.

After hearing that his fellow clan members had not returned, a surge of killing intent emanated from Haru, shrouding the remote camp in an oppressive silence. In a declaration heavy with resolve,

he spoke, "We will launch an all-out attack on the Uchiha tomorrow. We will not stop until we completely eradicate all of the Uchiha who killed our brothers."

As those words echoed, Haru commanded, "Dismissed." The camp emptied as the Senju departed, leaving Haru there to come up with a battle plan.

The next day unfolded beneath the radiant glow of the sun, casting its light on the awakening world.

The trees swayed gently in a rhythmic dance, and clouds adorned the sky with their picturesque shapes

Despite the beautiful weather and tranquil atmosphere, Indra, having enjoyed a restful night, issued the order for the Uchiha to rise from their slumber.

The time to rest was over, and they had to embark on the journey back to the Uchiha Compound.

Adorning themselves in battle-ready armor and proudly displaying the custom-made crest of their esteemed clan, the Uchiha remained vigilant.

The knowledge that they lived in one of the most unforgiving eras in their history meant that a good night's sleep was a rare luxury—a momentary respite in a time fraught with uncertainty and conflict.

Senju Pov:

Perched atop a rugged mountain peak, the Uchiha warriors orchestrated a symphony of chakra, their hands weaving intricate signs in preparation for the impending battle. The air crackled with the palpable intensity of their focused energy.

In the midst of this charged atmosphere, Indra's heightened sensory perception allowed him to discern the nature and density of the chakra swirling around them. With a profound understanding of the imminent threat, he cast aside all distractions and bellowed a stark warning:

"Brace yourselves! The Senju are on the offensive."

A collective cry resonated through the air as a herd of Uchiha surged up the mountain. Unbeknownst to them, the Senju were prepared, unleashing a torrent of ninjutsu with calculated precision.

The mountains quaked with a thunderous

*BOOM*!"~

their stability compromised by the relentless force of the Senju's onslaught. A formidable Senju figure emerged, a herald of retribution, declaring, "This is revenge for our brothers."

"Fire Style: Fire Dragon Storm!"

The command echoed, summoning a tempest of fire dragons that materialized as a ferocious thunderstorm, hurtling toward the unsuspecting Uchiha.

"Aaaah!"

*BOOM*!" *BOOM*!" *BOOM*!"

The anguished cries intertwined with subsequent BOOMs, creating a symphony of destruction. Limbs, heads, and torsos tumbled down the slopes, leaving haunting trails of crimson in their wake.

Amidst the aftermath, the Senju asserted dominance over the Uchiha. Witnessing the surviving Uchiha emerge from the fiery tempest, the Senju comprehended the grim truth—their brethren had fallen in the brutal assault.

Indra, bearing witness to the devastating scene, swiftly wove hand signs, invoking a chilling technique.

 "Fire Style: Phoenix Dragon Annihilation!"

The air crackled with the birth of a mythical inferno, poised to extract a retaliatory toll on the Senju.

In the chaotic aftermath, a moment of eerie calm settled over the battlefield, punctuated only by the crackling flames and the anguished whispers of the survivors.

A colossal phoenix, ablaze with fierce flames, descended from the heavens with a thunderous roar, casting a diabolical shadow over the Senju and Uchiha warriors alike.

As the monstrous avian entity loomed above, commanding attention and dread, a desperate plea echoed through the chaos.

"Quick, release your strongest ninjutsu to stop that thing."

In response, a significant portion of the Senju warriors swiftly conjured hand signs, realizing the imminent threat. They unleashed their elemental Jutus with urgency:

"Earth Style: Double Strengthening Boulder Jutsu!"

"Water Style: Water Dragon Tsunami!"

a huge explosion occurred wiping out the entire mountain-side the water style and earth-style ninjutsu were rendered useless to that fire attack over 80% of the Senju warriors were killed in that attack Haru watched on top of the mountains with horror as he witnessed a huge fire style jutsu that almost completely wiped out the Senju warriors he was in command of

Racing down the mountainside with desperation etched on his face, Haru aimed to salvage what remained of his warriors.

As the dust settled, Haru confronted a young man, seemingly in his twenties, with long brown hair and emotionless pitch-dark eyes. A colossal, dark purple humanoid-chakra skeletal avatar enveloped him, sending shivers down Haru's spine. The sight triggered memories of Izuna's past Susanoo avatar, resurrecting horrible memories.

Haru gripped his kunai and rushed toward Indra.

Indra, encased in his Susanoo, turned his head ever so slightly. The figure with long brown hair and brown eyes stood defiantly, clad in white cloth adorned only with the markings of the Sage of Six Paths.

With Indra's Mangekyo Sharingan activated, he discerned that the opponent he is facing is no ordinary foe—this was a mid-kage level adversary.
