Hunter lay on his bed with a smile plastered across his face.
[ Wrath, who ruled Schwarz Hel with an iron fist was feared through all regions of Hel, the Demon Lord was deemed the most powerful demon alive, even more powerful than Vali, the Master of the Paper and The Adversary, Triacan's oldest brother who had left Hel some hundred years ago for Raazar in his search for a worthy opponent.
Wrath had many children, among them were Naamah and Alastair, two pure demons who would become the Dark Majesty's ardent followers.
Long before the Dark Majesty stepped foot in Hel, Naamah was exiled by her father from Schwarz Hel for speaking out of turn.
The turquoise-eyed pure demon wandered through other regions of Hel and several realms before settling in the in-between. There, she learned about the Pure Demon who was beginning to take control of the in-between, a pure demon who the in-between itself bent to his will.
Naamah became obsessed with controlling Hel and began training so that she may have the power to control the home of the demons as Horatius controlled the in-between.
At the Schwarz, Alastair spent years and years, pleading with his father to allow Naamah to return from exile but the pure demon would always get punished each time he asked.
Eventually, Alastair's perseverance paid off when Naamah was called back home to Schwarz by her father.
The return was not grand and Wrath kept it as quiet as possible so that his people and followers should not question his ruthlessness.
When Naamah returned to Hel, most of her time was spent outside the palace. The pure demoness somehow could use pure energy and despite the lack of such energy in Hel, she generated her own.
Naamah trained and trained in the name of controlling Hel but the realm did not move to her whims and desire.
Then Horatius arrived in Hel and united the domains that had been separated and independent for so long, Grau Hel. Naamah feared that the Demon Lord would control Hel as he did the in-between so she met with her brother and told him about the demon in the Grau.
Alastair saw an opportunity in his sister's tales, an opportunity to break free of their abusive father should they choose to align with the new King of the Grau. He incited a rebellion with some of his siblings against his father Wrath.
Alas, the rebellion came to a damning end when one of Alastair's brothers turned to Wrath and told him about the plan.
The rebellion was crushed in such a way that only those who participated and survived it knew that it happened. Alastair was kept alive by his father and made to watch as the Demon Lord ate all of Alastair's brothers and sisters who participated while Naamah who didn't know of the rebellion was thrown into the pits to spite Alastair.
Many Hel years later, Weiss Hel would fall to white-haired Lilith who would declare Wrath and his domain her enemy for supporting the Triacans during her war with the old dynasty.
Wrath would laugh at the idea that Lilith who was known solely for her beauty would challenge him to war but the sonorous expulsion of air would get stuck in his throat when the Demonic Dark Majesty would lay siege to the Schwarz domain by himself.
The Adversary was at the Schwarz when the Dark Majesty attacked and singlehandedly decimated every single member of the domain's fighters.
After locking himself in his chambers for several days, Wrath finally answered the Dark Majesty's call, stepping out to fight the one, true, Lord of Hel.
In the castle, Alastair freed his sister, Naamah, and with help from six more of his siblings - the six who did not participate in the rebellion several years ago - attempted to usurp the Schwarz throne. Despite being dealt heavy blows, they were able to force the Adversary into retreat.
Wrath and The Dark Majesty were said to have spoken to one another for some time, and according to some narrations, it ended with Wrath falling in prostration to the Dark King.
Some claim that Wrath remained proud till the very end, holding his head high as he approached the Master of Hel but then turned to dust before he approached the King.
Others say the Dark Majesty laughed when he saw Wrath and declared the King of Schwarz Hel was not strong enough to face and watched as Lilith obliterated him instead.
Regardless of which narrative you believe, Wrath met his end after he left the comfort of his chambers to confront the Dark Majesty. ]

•Somewhere.
The door slides open and Kieran walks through it, face filled with anger.
Vittoria turns to the door and a small smile appears on her face. "You're here, again ... I'm starting to think you still have a t --"
The blonde pulled a gun on her making her go mute. Kieran's hands shook evidently as he contemplated whether or not to pull the trigger.
"You won't do it," Vittoria declared. "You see me as a threat but you won't do it."
Kieran sighs and throws the gun on the table in front of them. Vittoria eyes the gun before shifting her gaze to maroon maroon-eyed man. "Seriously?" Kieran frowned.
"That's what this is, the director of Transnational Intelligence identifies a threat to the United Republics and fails to put them down because he let his feelings involved."
Kieran slams his hand on the desk. "Goddamn it, Vittoria!"
"This is why our founding fathers created the Core Intelligence, someone has to make the tough decisions."
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?"
"Yes. If it was the other way around, you wouldn't even be sitting where I'm sitting right now."
Kieran chuckles before throwing himself on the couch next to her, the blonde director rubs his nose before turning to Vittoria. "Why does one man get to be judge, jury, and executioner?"
Vittoria smiles. "Who knows? ..."
...
The helicopter carrying Vittoria and Kieran soars through the air. Kieran who was seated across from the grey-haired woman kept his eyes focused on her while the latter kept her eyes closed, tapping her index finger on her knee.
One of the agents seated in the helicopter noticed this and remarked: "Anxious to be back in the capital?"
A smile appeared across Vittoria's lips and she opened her eyes for the first since she was pushed into the helicopter. The blue-eyed woman took in a deep breath before exhaling through her mouth very slowly.
"RPG!" one of the agents shouted.
The pilot tried his best to avoid the incoming rocket while Kieran quickly unbuckled his belt and reached for Vittoria's.
"Sir! We gotta go!" One of the agents exclaimed just before he grabbed the blonde director and jumped out of the helicopter with him.
BOOM!
What was left of the helicopter spins before crashing into the ground. Kieran blinked, lying on the ground as his blurry vision became clear and the ringing in his ear came to a stop. He jumped to his feet and rushed to the edge of the building he was on to get a good look at the helicopter burning.
Several SUVs pull up in front of the burning helicopter. Men wearing hockey masks jumped out of the cars armed with guns and surrounded the helicopter. One of the men looked into the helicopter before placing a device next to it. He signals the others and starts back to the cars.
"No ... No ... no ..." Kieran repeated as he began a quick descent for the helicopter, his agents chase after him. The blonde man slides down a roof before jumping to the ground. He then raced across the street but was held back by his agents just before the helicopter exploded a second time, this time releasing a purple flameless fire and not producing a sound.
It was still very deadly though as the helicopter disintegrated to pieces. The agents let go of the director and when he got close, only a small piece of the ribbon she wore on her head, strands of her hair, and parts of Vittoria's fingers remained.
