Jade sat on his lap, her cuspids already out as she eyed him hungrily, "can I?" She asked eagerly
"Knock yourself out," he replied, throwing his head back on the pillow causing her to move forward, her hands on his chest before she sinks her teeth into his neck, feeding to her heart's content.
She looks up at him and he uses his thumb to wipe the blood dripping from the side of her lips. "I love you so much," she said grinning from ear to ear
"I know," he replied. She leans towards him but the tent door suddenly swings open. A dark-skinned man walked in, a knowing smile on his face as he sees them both.
"Maybe announce yourself first?" Jade said irritated, "some of us prefer a bit of privacy," she added before rolling off to the side of the bed. She picks up a shirt and throws it on.
"I apologize... If it would make you feel any better, you're not my type," the man said, a smile still on his face
"What's that supposed to mean?" She frowned
"I'm not interested"
Jade turned towards him, watching as he picks a berry next to the bed and throws it in his mouth, "you're just going to let him talk to me like that?"
"I'd prefer he talks to you like that," he replies almost uninterested, "you're mine and if he is even remotely interested in you then I'd have no choice but to behead him"
"And I happen to like having my head where it is," the man chipped causing Jade to laugh, the tension suddenly gone
"What's so important you barge into my camp so early in the morning?" He asked the man
"Right," the man stood up straight, "your wife's here"
"And you couldn't start with that?" Jade frowned
"She crossed the Vryne river when I teleported here, you had time."
"Not anymore," he said with a small smile as he sits up, resting his head on his hands.
The door swings a second time and this time, a tall, slender, and well-endowed woman walked in, she was light-skinned and had golden irises and black hair that stretched down to her waist with chin-length bangs framing the sides of her face.
She wore a revealing red V-neck blouse that showed much of her chest and a loose sarong that exposed her long, slender legs with a blue symbol adorned on it.
"Kendi," she smiled, "how are the wife and kids?" She asked
"They are doing well ... We are expecting a new addition next spring," he said, his eyes lighting up
"Really? I'm so happy for you." She turned to the other side of the room, the smile on her face instantly disappearing as she sees Jade
"Lady Yves," Jade bowed
Yves' eyes narrowed, "did you feed recently?" She asked
"Yes"
"On who?" She asked
"A servant in the camp"
"What's their name?"
"I don't know and I didn't ask ... Why is it important?"
Yves frowns before turning to her husband, her smile reappearing the same way it left. She climbed on the bed before settling her head on his chest, he drop one of his hands to her side to hold her close, "you came just in time, Jade was just about to give me an update on the orc kingdom of Netradral"
"We received a letter from their King this morning, he has agreed to surrender his kingdom," Jade revealed
"That's great news," Yves said
"It is, but the King's initial resistance is what caused the uprising in the south."
"True," Kendi agreed, "I fear many in Netradral might consider joining them now that the King surrendered"
"We'll have to discourage them," he noted, looking down at his wife, "you can handle that right honey?"
"Of course, what do you want me to do?"
"Just fly over the city. They'll think twice before moving to the south"
"Would you come to see me?"
"I wouldn't miss it for the world," he assured, planting a small kiss on her lips.
Yves gets up while he turns to Jade, "Jade, get your squad and go with Kendi to the castle, see to it everything is in order before I get there," he ordered
"Yes sir, what about the King?"
"Do as you please. One more thing, get me a mage."
"You're going somewhere?" Kendi asked
"Yes, first I'd go to the city, to watch Yves, then I'd be making a long journey to Hel"
"A council meeting?"
"An under-the-table meeting, Lilith can already tell an all-out war is inevitable, you know how she feels about dying"
"Good luck with your journey," Kendi said before walking away.
A short while later, a mage walked into the tent, she doesn't say anything, her gaze fixed on the ground as she bowed
He waved a dismissive hand, "I trust that Kendi told you our destinations?"
"He did," she replied
"You're not scared of going to Hel?"
"I'm not"
He snorts, "you should be."
The mage struck her staff on the floor and a circle appeared beneath them, instantly transporting them to a city in Netradral.
He looks around the city, "are we l--" the sound of flapping wings interrupts his thought, the bright sky suddenly darkened as a large dragon appeared, blocking the sunlight as it flies over them. "There she is, there is my beautiful wife," he said proudly
Once the dragon was out of sight, he turned to the mage, "well then, let's go to Hel."

Hunter blinked before sitting up, looking at the time, it was barely sunrise
[You're uncharacteristically early today, had a nightmare?]
"No ... I think I just saw your memories," Hunter said
[Can't say that's unexpected, I've been looking into your memories it was only a matter of time before you began to see mine. What did you see?]
"You being unfaithful to your wife ..."
[You finally know who Yves is?]
"Yes, it was the day an orc kingdom surrendered to you ... What are you, really? Jade said she's known you since BC and the memory I just saw was in the early middle ages. That would make you at least 2000 years, there's no way a degenerated witch or necromancer or whatever would live that long, also, you seem to be a leader of some sort"
[You're thinking too much about this. The answer to all your questions is simple, chaos magic]
"Right. Even if chaos magic is what has kept you alive for this long, you're --"
[How about you go for a run? Clear your mind, you're getting a little agitated]
Hunter sighs, "fine," he rolls out of the bed, throwing on a tee shirt as he prepares for a run
[Also find a safe spot so you can test your dark mystics abilities]
"You want to teach me something?"
[Maybe]
