Hiraeth
It is now Monday, the weekend passed away in a heartbeat, the weather is nice and cozy, I get up from my bed and slowly start getting ready, I despise morning showers.
I decide on wearing a cute blue checkered skirt with a tee shirt, Jacket and obviously sneakers.
I decided against walking today and taking my car keys with me, I have a matte rose gold G-wagon, just in case you'd like to know.
Since I'll be driving I sit to eat breakfast, after my most important meal of the day which I seem to skip a lot, I get in my car and drive away to school, parking my car next to a black range rover, I get out of my car and walk inside the building and meet up with Mia and Kai.
I was talking with them when I suddenly feel a hand on my shoulder, I whip my head around, only to find my friend, Cain.
"You're here" I squeal happily as he wraps his hands around me, hugging me, my feet dangling in the air, because of our height gap, I tapout as he puts me down,
"I'm here my love," he says as he wraps his hand around my shoulder before greeting Mia and Kai.
Cain and I have a special bond,
I found him when he was crying because he was outed to his parents without his consent, thankfully his parents understood and accepted him since then we have been very close.
I smile looking at my three friends when I feel a gaze on me, I turn my head and find gray eyes looking at me, he looks pissed, jaw clenched, and everything.
He has issues dude
He looks at me once again, eyes fluttering between the arm on my shoulder and my eyes.
Is he jealous? No, that can't be it, we only met like a week ago.
As he was about to leave with James, and Owen behind him, Cain turned towards them, and his eyes move to James,
"He is a handsome piece of hunk and I am not letting a chance go," he says as he moves towards them with me still attached to him.
We stop in front of them and they look at us weirdly, Cain moves his hand towards James,
"Hey, I'm Cain and I think you're really good looking" Cain finishes with a full smile on his lips,
while I stand next to him prepared to smack the shit out of anyone who is mean to him, but when I see James giving a small smile to Cain my worries fade away.
"Thanks, you're really handsome too" He replies calmly to Cain.
Cain has always been too outgoing but eh..
"Well that makes me ecstatic, Hey I'm Cain, and this is my love, Hiraeth," he replies to James pushing me a bit forward while he shakes and Owens's hand
"I already know them you asswipe," I say to him, while he shakes hands with Arcane who looks weirdly satisfied now.
"OH my baby knows people other than us, I'm so proud," he says as he wipes a non-existent tear while I smack his head lightly with a glare.
"Would you guys like to sit with us at lunch today," Cain asks them with another full-blown smile.
"Are you sure your friends won't mind?" James says while Cain scoffs lightly and I shake my head no
"They won't, of course, they're too busy looking at each other," he says smugly and I snicker,
"We hope to see you there," Cain says before they could object, he twirls around and we walk away.
I walk to politics while Cain goes to history and Mia and Kai go to their respective classes. I sit in my usual seat when I feel the seat next to me being occupied, I look over expecting Arcane but feeling a bit disappointed to see some other guy, a brunette with green eyes.
You only met him like a week ago bro, and already attached?
"Hey I'm Elias", he says with a smile and I smile back,
"I'm Hiraeth" as I finish I see a shadow on Elias,
I look up and see Arcane standing there, Elias looks back too, and flinches as he finds Arcane's glare coldly directed at him, slightly regaining his composure,
"what do you want," he asks very rudely to Arcane.
I feel bad when he's being mean to him before I could say anything, Arcane speaks up as his glare intensifies.
"get up" he growled, it didn't take more than a second for Elias to get up and leave.
Arcane settles next to me, his legs are too long, they touch the table in front of us, while mine hardly even touch my own, I frown thinking about me how short I am, he looks over, my eyes find his.
I'm like a football, short and round
A cute football though.
"Don't overthink" he says, his voice low and soft. I giggle lightly because he is actually concerned about something other people would consider insignificant and that makes me happy, he notices my smile and his lips tug at ends while his tongue pokes his cheek.
He is so fucking handsome, I'm gonna kill myself.
As we get done with classes, lunch finally arrives, I reach our table when I find our new friends there, Mia and Kai next to each other, Cain sitting next to James, Owen next to him, and then Arcane, leaving me a seat between Kai and Arcane.
I walk over and settle down as they all look at me, I look up at them and raise my eyebrows,
"what's up, you're acting weird," I say lightly as I look around the table.
"Well, we were planning on going somewhere today, as a group" Mia mentions
"Really and where were you guys thinking of going to?" I ask as I drink my yogurt.
"You're included, my love," Cain says lightly as I sigh.
I know it may seem dramatic but I get panic attacks when I have to leave my home.
"You know I don't like going out," I say pouting lightly.
"That's why we decided on going somewhere you like" Kai adds quickly
"Really? And what's that?" I ask him
"Ice skating and since the weather is hot too we know you'll have fun and you don't even have to socialize it'll be fun and we'll be there with you" he finishes ranting as he breathes heavily
I smile at him, he's just too cute. I ruffle his hair as he swats my hand away and the others laugh. I can't say no to them.
"What time are we going then" with a slight smile which makes My dear three friends smile brightly, relieved while the others look happy too.
James and Owen laugh lightly watching their expressions while Arcane's eyes are fixed on me.
"We're going at 3:30 ," Owen tells enthusiastically
"Well then losers, don't be jealous when you see how good I am," I say giggling
"We'll see belle" Arcane speaks up, humor in his voice
I nod lightly as I focus back on my Mac n cheese while everyone talks away.
