'Urgh... what's going on?' Pearce thought as his conciuosness began to wake up.
«You have finally woken up» a voice suddenly rang out close to his conciuosness, when he turned to see who it was, he saw the exact replica of himself looking at him in relief.
«My replica! you have finally woken up» Pearce hurriedly said in an excited tone.
‹Look who is talking› Pearce's replica thought before he replied...
«Well someone just doesn't want me to sleep in peace so I just had to unwillingly wake up»
«What do you mean?» Pearce asked with a confused expression on his face. When his replica heard that, he cursed internally towards someone before he answered...
«I will tell you but first you gotta wake up outside. People are really worried about your current state at the moment»
'Sh*t! I forgot' Pearce thought with a panicked expression on his face as he hurriedly tried to wake his body up.

"Hey! you guys come look! he is waking up" a voice suddenly rang out close to Pearce's body as he tries to wake up.
"Really!?"
"I hope you aren't playing with us"
"Am really serious!! his eyes is about to open"
"Oh my God, he has finally woken up after a long time"
Immediately Pearce fully opened his eyes, he could see a group of really familiar faces. After seeing them, he casually gave them a weak smile as he said...
"Am sorry for the trouble guys"
Right now the group that seated in front of Pearce as they stared at him with watery eyes in a nearly arranged room were actually his group members called the Monster Slayers. Not only that, but even Diana is among them as she stood at a spot with slightly watery eyes.
"Captain!!" Robert wailed as he hurriedly hugged Pearce tightly with his burly body.
"Ro... Robert... you are... suffo... cating me" Pearce struggled to say as his face became slightly red.
"Oh! so sorry Captain" Robert hurriedly said with a panicked expression on his tough looking face as he released Pearce from the hug. After doing that, he began to endure the glares that was coming from all round the room.
"How long have I been asleep?" Pearce asked with a curious expression on his face. But what he heard from his group made his expression to drastically change.
"10 months" George answered with a pondering look on his face.
'Doesn't that mean am now 14?' Pearce thought as he tried to get up from the bed he was on. But the voice he heard next immediately made him pause...
"Pearce" Diana said with a charming voice of an oriole. When the Monster Slayers heard this, they all looked at each other meaningfully before Robert said...
"Since you are now awake Captain, we should go inform the seniors"
But before Pearce could reply back, Robert and they others hurriedly got and up and went of the room.
'This guys....' Pearce thought with an helpless smile on his face before he stared at Diana which was also staring back at him.
After staring at each other for a few minutes in silence, Diana suddenly removed the veil on her dashing face before she spoke timidly...
"How.. are you?"
"Am doing good at the moment" Pearce replied with a light smile on his face.
After hearing the reply she got from Pearce, she internally sighed in relief before she said worriedly...
"After now, I won't be staying in this station any more"
"Huh? what do you mean?" Pearce asked with a confused expression on his face.
"My family's steward has come to bring me back to my family in the Capital" Diana said with a depressed expression on her face. When Pearce saw this expression on her face, his heart suddenly ached which made him to say with a handsome smile on his face.
"You don't have to feel depressed Diana, I will come get you"
As soon as Diana heard what he said, her heartbeat suddenly rose as she looked at Pearce with dazed eyes.
"Yo... you mean it?" Diana suddenly said with a dazed expression still on her face.
"Have you ever seen a boy this handsome lie?" Pearce asked with a complacent smile on his face. When Diana saw this, she immediately came back to her senses and said...
"A lot"
"Urgh...." Pearce suddenly became speechless by Diana's reply while Diana herself giggled a little while being excited internally.
"It's a promise then" Diana said with an sweet smile on her face.
"Sure" Pearce replied with a handsome smile on his face.
"What's a promise?" a voice suddenly rang out into the room from the entrance as the door suddenly opened.
After the door got opened, people of different ages walked into the room. These people were Pearce's group, Diana's group, Sir Long, Menacing Demon, Venerable Dreadful, Venerable Chou, Thomas Powell, Steward James, a tanned girl named Viona and finally Pearce's grandfather Sir Kyler.
When Pearce saw all these people, a light smile came on his face as he said modestly.
"Good day everyone, sorry for troubling you all through out the time I was asleep"
"You don't have to apologize Brother Pearce, it wasn't your fault for being in this state" Sir Long said with with a light smile on his face. When Pearce heard what Sir Long said, he secretly became surprised as he thought....
'Since when did I become this man's brother?'
"Young Mistress, it is time to leave. I don't want to keep your father waiting anymore" Steward James spoke with a pleading look on his face. 10 months ago, the Patriarch of the Herald family which was Diana's father told Steward James to bring his daughter back to the family for an important matter. But he still hasn't bring the Patriarch daughter back which he knew he will be punished for.
"Ok" Diana spoke dispirited but quickly came back to normal as she walked towards Steward James. After meeting up with him In the crowded environment, both she and Steward James began to walk out of the room. But before she left, she spoke calmly....
"I will be waiting for you"
"I won't break it" Pearce replied with a warm smile on his face. After experiencing what Diana did for him when he was captured, he suddenly developed a place for Diana in his heart.
And so, The Herald Family Steward and the Young Mistress left that area.
"Pearce" another voice suddenly rang out from the crowd In the room. When Pearce turned to see who it was, he saw Powell coming towards him with his head lowered and the tanned girl beside him.
"Long time no see Viona" Pearce said with a light smile on his face as he stared at the tanned girl beside Powell. The tanned girl was apparently Thomas Powell's Cousin that was named Thomas Viona.
Although nothing much has changed from the last time Pearce met her during his test mission, she is now taller and developing curves could be on the light green military clothes she wore.
"Indeed it has Pearce, but unfortunately, I didn't come to you today to catch up" Viona said calmly with a light smile on her face.
"Then what did you come to me for?" Pearce asked with a curious expression on his face even if he knew why.
"Actually, I came with my cousin so he can apologize to you" Viona said with a wry smile on her face.
"Oh?" Pearce exclaimed as he finally stared at Powell who has his head lowered. Coincidentally, as soon as Pearce eyes landed on Powell, the later suddenly said.
"A... am sorry for all the wrong things I have done to you. Could you please forgive me?"
"Why should I forgive you?" Pearce asked emotionlessly. When Powell heard this question, he became quiet.
"Pearce, could you please forgive him for this old man" Menacing Demon suddenly said with an helpless look on his face. When Pearce heard this, he quickly looked straight in the eyes of Menacing Demon.
After some time, he lazily waved his hands as he said...
"Fine I forgive you. Now leave"
"Thank you Pearce" Powell said while sighing in relief before he walked out of the room.
"I will see you later Pearce" Viona spoke with a light smile on her face before she also went out of the room.
"Ok everyone, I would like to speak with him alone" Sir Kyler suddenly said as he walked towards Pearce.
"Ok Sir" Sir Long said respectfully before he walked out of the room with the rest. Right now, only Pearce and Sir Kyler is in the room.
"Do I know you?" Pearce suddenly said with a bewildered expression on his face. Why he asked that was because although he has only seen this man back at the hall in the HQ in the capital, he has a strong familiar feeling towards him.
When Sir Kyler heard this question, he calmly took in a deep breath before he spoke with a warm expression on his face.
"My name is Kyler and am your grandfather. I also would like to tell you something about our family's past"
