"Follow us" Venerable Phoebe said as both her and Menacing Demon turned towards the entrance of the dorm.
'I just hope they have an offensive spell I am currently looking for' Pearce thought as him along with the other new recruits followed the two Venerables into the dorm.
When they got into the dorm, they saw a black colored platform at the centre inside the building with shelves which contains books, scrolls and stone tablets all around the black platform.
«This is a surprise» The replica suddenly spoke with a surprised expression on his ethereal face.
«You can say that again» Pearce replied with the same surprised expression on his face.
What Pearce and his replica were surprised about wasn't how the building is structured internally, But was the black platform at the centre of it.
Based in what Pearce was taught in the Military Children Encampment Centre, the platform he was currently looking at is one the strongest material known to man, the "Dark Meteorite".
Apparently, this material went extinct decades ago as technology advanced. But some special or mysterious organization still has them for unique purposes.
While ignoring the shocked expression on the new recruits faces, Menacing Demon casually spoke.
"You all have 30 minutes to get your first offensive spell or you can stay without one"
When the new recruits heard what Menacing Demon said, they instantly recovered from their shock as they hurriedly scattered into various places in search of an offensive spell.
"You didn't tell them the punishment if they eventually carry more than one offensive spell" Venerable Phoebe said with a confused expression on her face.
"That isn't necessary because I kept a surprise for those who plans to do that" Menacing Demon replied with a evil grin on his face.
When Venerable Phoebe saw that look on Menacing Demon's face, slight fear appeared within her as she distanced herself from him. But before she could ask what kind of surprise he planned for the new recruits, something unexpected happened.
Boom!!
"AAH!!" Screamed a 14 year old boy as he flew past 3 meters before crashing on the floor.
"What did you do!?" Phoebe asked as she looked at Menacing Demon with a shocked expression on her face. But Menacing Demon laughed heartily before he spoke in his most calm voice.
"I just placed a detection rune on where all the offensive spelld are kept. So if someone has already taken one but still plans to take another, the rune will naturally detect that and detonate"
'You are really ruthless' Venerable Phoebe thought as she flew towards where the boy landed.

«I have told you countless times, you don't need this meager spells. I have a whole library of top notch spells right in my mind» Pearce's replica said with an annoyed look on his face.
«And I have told you countless time that I will only use those your spells as my last resort for now. Besides, I still have to build myself up for the future» Pearce replied as he calmly walked along a hall that is right between to long shelves.
‹Ah it's hopeless› The replica thought as he shook his ethereal head hopelessly.
"Hmm?" Pearce suddenly spoke as he felt an ominous aura coming from a distance away from where Pearce stood. But although Pearce felt it, he quickly disregarded it as planned on moving forward. Right when Pearce started moving, something unexpected happened.
Whoosh!
"AAH!" Pearce screamed as he was being pulled by an unknown force.
«Whats going on kid?» The replica said with a shocked expression on his face.
«Am… being pulled… by something» Pearce forcefully spoke as he tries to suppress the ominous aura enveloping him. But right when the replica could ask any other question, Pearce quickly stopped at a dark corner of the hall.
«What is going on out there kid?» The replica solemnly said as he began to feel the ominous aura in the area Pearce was currently in.
«I don't really know» Pearce helplessly said as he inspected his surrounding for any unexpected things that might pop up.
But not long after, his eyes finally landed on the source of that ominous aura. What he was looking at was a scroll that floats on a stone pulpit. This scroll was completely black in color as it's edges were gold in color.
«F**k, what is a divine rank spell doing here» The replica said with a look of disbelief on his face.
«Divine rank spell?» Pearce asked with a confused expression on his face. When the replica heard that question, he took in a deep breath before he began to explain.
«In this world, everything is ranked based on the quality of the item. From weapons to spells, all these things are ranked in the same way. And they in five stages which are the third rank, second rank, first rank, royal rank and the divine rank as the third rank is the lowest while the divine rank is the highest. What we are currently looking at is a divine rank spell which should be going out of existence years ago»
«Then it seems my luck is good» Pearce said with a smile on his face as he stretched out his hand grab the scroll. But right when he was about to get hold of the scroll, it suddenly turned ethereal as got into Pearce unhindered.
"Urgh…" Pearce grunts in a low voice as he endured the pressure that came into his mind.
«What is going on?» The replica asked with a confused expression on his face. But it took sometime before Pearce answered him.
«It seems I have absorbed the spell»
«Absorbed?» The replica asked with the confused expression still on his face.
«Yes, and it seems to be called Sabre Arts» Pearce said after enduring the pressure that came on his mind.
«Eh?» The replica said with a bewildered expression now on his face.
«It seems you don't know about this spell» Pearce said with a slight smile on his face.
«Don't mock me kid. Besides, it must be a useless divine rank spell since I don't know about it» The replica said in an obvious tone.
«Yeah, yeah» Pearce said as he rolled his eyes before he began to read the contents on the spell.
Apparently, the spell are in three stages which are the Serpent Movement, Serpent Strike and the Serpent Evolution as the Serpent Movement is the first stage while the Serpent Evolution is the last stage.
'I think I can learn the Serpent Movement till the initiation phase before time will run out' Pearce thought before he quickly began to practice the first stage of the divine rank spell.
