Chapter 219 - Trigger Warning(4)

In the bridge section of the HMS Eagle, Millennium soldiers and officers were handling the control of the anti-aircraft weaponry, while Rip was seen dancing and singing the song "Der Freischütz. Until suddenly, she collapses on her knees and trembles in fear.

"What's happening?" She stuttered in confusion, glancing at the sky in full uncertainty until a realization dawned on her, "He's... He's coming!" she cried, her voice filled with genuine dread.

——————————————————————

"Something's come up on the radar," The Millennium member notified the others as he examined the speed and altitude of the aircraft within the radar, only his expression quickly shifted to one of surprise, "It's not possible! Its speed is Mach 2.8. Altitude 85,000."

"What?! Mach 2.8?! And at that altitude? What is it?" The Millennium officer loudly asked.

"The SR71. It's a reconnaissance craft."

All of a sudden, they all heard Rip screaming on top of her lungs.

"Prepare for combat! It's him! It's the madness! It's Alucard!!"

From the flight deck, Rip raised her musket rifle straight up into the sky because she was right.

Approaching the ship at a high speed of Mach 3 was the SR71 Blackbird with the one piloting being Alucard who had a psychotic grin of expectation on his face.

On the flight deck was where Alucard intended to land... by flying the blackbird at high speed and ramming the supersonic jet into the ship, which was crazy, but Alucard is all about crazy.

"Focus on your fire! We are going to tear that aircraft apart!"

The Millennium soldiers used the gatling guns of the HMS Eagle to shoot down the Blackbird, but all their attempts were unsuccessful because of how fast the aircraft was approaching the ship while being actively engaged in enemy fire without taking damage.

With a menacing grin on her face, Rip, who was still on the flight deck, lies on the floor on her back and takes aim at it with her musket, feeling confident she can shoot both Alucard and the Blackbird down with her magic bullets.

Squeezing the trigger, Rip fires her musket rifle and the bullet flies out in a zigzag pattern in the direction of the Blackbird at a higher velocity.

Within a fraction of a second, the bullet hits and pierced every part of the Blackbird by moving left and right, damaging it greatly before taking it down, which explodes and destroys the Blackbird, only for Alucard to immediately reform since he covered the entire aircraft in his shadow essence by releasing his restraints to Level One and preventing it from suffering any further damage. Thus, it accelerates its descent towards the ship's deck at an even greater speed.

"Vhat?!"

Finally, Alucard flies the Blackbird's wreckage straight into the ship and impacts on the deck with full force and bursts in a massive violent explosion, setting half of the ship ablaze and killing all Nazis on-board, extinguishing them all for good with flames that have been raging throughout the ship. Immediately after Alucard literally kamikaze himself into the ship, one Nazi was set on fire, screaming and subsequently crushed by debris.

The only one who survived the onslaught were Rip Van Winkle and the Crimson Fucker himself.

Within the sea of flames, Alucard rose from the inferno, completely unharmed, while a terrified Rip huddled beneath pieces of debris.

"So…"

"AAH!" Rip yelped when she saw Alucard staring at her in a dangerous manner.

"Nice ship you got there."

"Oh no." Rip mumbled, she was terrified at this point as she stared at Alucard.

Right at that moment, Rip started recalling what the Major had told her regarding Kaspar & Zamiel in "Der Freischütz", where Zamiel kills Kaspar. In the current scenario she was in, she was Kaspar and Alucard was Zamiel in this story and that she would eventually suffer the same fate as Kaspar. The Major warned her that if she were to run into her Zamiel—who, in this case, would be Alucard—she should be careful. What shall she do in the face of Zamiel?

"What shall you do... Rip Van Winkle?"

After murmuring to herself, Rip got to her feet, removed her spectacles and wiped away her tears before putting them back on. With new determination and confidence in her face, she successfully managed to pull herself together in the subsequent split second and level her musket at Alucard with a newfound sense of resolve and assurance.

"Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Sailor. My bullet punishes all without distinction!"

Upon she declared her words, Rip fired a magic bullet from her rifle, which once more traveled in a zigzag before striking Alucard multiple times and pushed him back towards the edge of the flight deck. Rip plans to drop Alucard into the water using the magic bullet as she keeps on yelling "Die" over and over again.

As the vampire is only a foot from the edge, Alucard grins and deliberately catches the bullet between his vampire teeth, which causes Rip to gasp in complete disbelief.

"Caught it."

As he said those words, he crushed the bullet between his teeth, shattering it into dust. As his regenerative power healed his bullet wounds, Alucard started approaching Rip who was again in a state of fear.

"And now I've caught you, Rip Van Winkle."

With malicious eyes that could kill with a single glance, Alucard was about to grip her neck when all of a sudden eight purple-colored wormholes materialized on either side of the flight deck.

"What the?"

Out of nowhere, a portal opened above Alucard and flying out of it came five Dark Aether Tempests. Before Alucard could react, they all seized his face and began electrocuting him with purple electricity that was fueled with dark aether energy.

The next thing that happened next even caused Rip to let out a look of horror upon seeing the most powerful being she had ever faced, collapsed on his knees.

With his eyes slowly glowing purple, Alucard's face and body started to gradually crystallize with dark aether essence radiating from his body. Meaning, the No-life King himself was being drawn into a corrupted state by the dark aether, fortunately, he was able to resist the corruption with all his mental might.

Hearing a cold and ominous voice that made Rip feel an even stronger sense of dread, even greater than Alucard did. Casting a quick glance to her right, Rip caught a glimpse of someone stepping out from one of the portals.

It was the Forsaken, in his human form.

"Y-You're the Forsaken that Major and Schrodinger mentioned?"

"Yes, but this is not my real form," Forsaken stated before disregarding Rip and instead, focusing his attention on Alucard, "You will be a very powerful and fine addition to my undead army, Vampire.

Alucard grunts as he glares at the Forsaken, "Like I'll ever kneel to the dark aether and its corruption! I'm not yours to command!"

"I know, the fact you're resisting the Tempests' dark aether energy and its corruption this long is truly a feat that I applaud you for. But you see, I'm a cosmic monster rather than being supernatural and I have a tremendous load of power in my hands thanks to the aether. These Tempests are merely small fractions when it comes to the dark aether's power. Me? Well, I'm a literal powerhouse. And now…"

The Forsaken grabbed his face, and Alucard could feel not only his own soul, but even the millions of souls residing within him were all beginning to succumb to the cosmic monster's corrupted power.

"Your soul... is mine."

"Fool! It is Millennium that will extinguish him! Not be a puppet to a universal conquering beast like you!" Rip yells at the Forsaken as she is about to fire a bullet at him, only for a portal to unexpectedly open behind her, allowing someone to emerge.

Before she could react, she was immediately punched in the back of the head and knocked to the floor from the person behind her. The individual lifted Rip off the ground by grabbing her from the back of her head.

Slightly opening her eyelids, Rip managed to get a glimpse of the person and saw who it was.

What she saw seemed to be a six to seven feet tall humanoid with a metallic mask and armored body. Its chest armor plate featured a DNA sign in addition to the same distinctive W emblem with half of its body being cybernetic in nature.

This is the Wolfenstein Reich's Super Soldats.

"W-What the hell is that?!" Rip exclaimed as her eyes widened in bewilderment upon seeing something alien.

"They are the new friends that I have made." Forsaken answered with a smirk, before returning his focus on Alucard, "Now as I was saying, your soul, and along with those millions of souls within you... will be all mine."

Raising his hand, the Forsaken unleashes a massive amount of dark aether energy into Alucard's both mind and soul and speeds up the process of the corruption as Alucard tries everything in his power to avoid being taken by the dark aether and the Forsaken.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I will reject your corruption!"

"No, I don't think you will."

With only a few more seconds left, Alucard will be fully corrupted as Forsaken continues to pour his power upon him. Suddenly, though, he hears something coming from the skies.

"Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!"

"Hm?"

Looking into the sky, Forsaken was able to see two individuals on a giant piece of sheet metal flying towards his direction with one of them yelling the word 'mine' nonstop.

"Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!"

As the two individuals drew closer, he soon clearly recognized who they were.

Rodeo and Karl Heisenberg.

"You!"

"MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE! MINE!"

As Karl is yelling the same word repeatedly, he and Rodeo jump off the metal sheet and both of them land on the flight deck with him sending the metal sheet flying towards the Tempests, cleaving their heads into two and killing them instantaneously. As a result, it releases Alucard from his restraint.

"You son of a-"

Before Forsaken could finish his sentence, he was immediately struck by Karl's hammer and was sent crashing against the ship's bridge.

"...Mine." Karl finished with a smile.

The Super Soldat that was holding Rip by its grasp was about to crush her head, not reacting in time when Rodeo grabbed its face and blew his head up into atoms, causing its body to go limp.

"Why did…"

"No time to explain! Now pick the rifle up! We got company!"

True to what Rodeo said, out of the dark aether portals emerged more Super Soldats along with dark aether zombies.

Karl helped Alucard get up on his feet before asking the vampire, "You okay?"

"That power... the corruption... this dark aether is on another level than I thought. I underestimated him." Alucard responded with a trace of terror in his face, which shocked Karl greatly that someone like Alucard made that look. Alucard, on the other hand, was also surprised by the emotion he experienced.

Due to his power and immortality, Alucard has absolutely no fear of facing death, but this, on the other hand, is something completely unfamiliar to him. For the first time in his hundreds of years of his life, Alucard was able to feel something that he lost long ago…

Fear.

"But hey, you made it." Karl assured him.

With a smile, Alucard looks forward to seeing the Forsaken rising up without any injuries after being struck by Karl. But instead, it pissed him off.

"Damn you!"

Whirling around to face the Super Soldats and his army, he roared.

"Crush them!"

"RAHHHHHHHHHHH!"

With a ferocious roar, the dark aether zombies along with the super soldats charged forward at the group of four with murderous intent.

"More presents for us it seems!" Alucard said as he pulled out his guns.

"Yep." Karl said with a nod.

"Get ready, everybody," Rodeo muttered, readying his sawed-off shotguns.

Staring at the three with a deadpan look, Rip turned to face the army and leveled her rifle in their direction.

"...I'll end this with one bullet."

Karl looks over at Rip with a raised brow, "What?"

Bang!

Upon firing her musket rifle, the bullet burst out and traveled in a zig-zag swirl pattern before blowing the heads off of every Super Soldat and zombies that came at them. With a single audible thud, they all drop dead.

It took one magical homing bullet to finish them all.

"Oh my God!" Karl gasped in surprise and amazement.

It's not over yet for the bullet, though, as soon as it eliminates them all, it heads straight towards the Forsaken at an even greater speed. However, before it could reach a single inch from his face, the Forsaken simply catched it between his thumb and middle finger before crushing it into dust.

"Not bad, but try this!"

Snap!

With a snap of his finger, a ginormous portal opened in the sky, and something enormous descended from it and landed on the flight deck, slightly shaking the ship.

The creature was forty meters in height, and devoid of any facial features other than a hollow, purple glow in its center. Instead of a hand in one of its arms, it had a bulge-type protrusion with glowing orange fractures.

This was one of the many creatures of the dark aether.

An Orda.
